Took 2 gold rings in to be resized. I worked in the same block as the store so Fred saud he would give me a good price. At the time i knew nothing about prices & it cost me $ 70.
When i got the rings back the bands were super thin. One of the rings was to be sized smaller and he took so much gold off it-​the band cracked 1 month later.
Bad business practices, dont take it out on me if your wife cant get a full set of fingers…

I learned to love this Husband and Wife team through the years. She was the jeweler and he the currency expert. I would go in just to visit sometimes and no doubt peruse the cases full of custom and traded in gems set in gold and silver. They had some great prices and even better, she was willing to dicker a bit.
I made several purchases there and too, had the Wife help me design and create just the perfect piece for the one I loved at the time. I wish I could remember her name.

quoted me 1400 $ so 500+ over spot for a 1oz gold buffalo
