Mini Camarillo is the best! Louis Shawver was really helpful, he answered my million and one questions with a smile! I was a bit hesitant to come here because I purchased my car through a Nissan dealership but I figured it would be the best way to make sure I got the best treatment for my car and they exceeded every expectation I had. If I could give these guys more stars, I absolutely would! I’ve been thinking about a Cooper for a few years. My Cooper of choice is the Clubman. After I saw the redesign, I knew that I just HAD to OWN one. I walked in to make an appointment for a test drive and met Travis, the Service Manager, right away his enthusiasm was infectious. He also had a clubmen, he opened his personal vehicle right up, told me to get in and check it out. Baby seats in the back, papers everywhere… Real life! LOVED this! I knew I had to have one. Travis then introduced me to Mike Latkin, I was pretty specific in the things that I wanted and didn’t have to have. I wasn’t in a hurry and I was willing to wait for what I wanted. Mike was awesome, he listened, he didn’t try to show me something that I couldn’t afford. (I know this to be true, because I was stocking their website and looking at what was coming in).
Finally Mike called with the news. He found it! We didn’t have any pictures, we just had the paperwork on color and options, but it sounded perfect. We thought it was gonna be a few weeks before it would arrive. So imagine our surprise when it showed up at the dealer two days later. I really need thank Minis GM, Dave Baker, who has very good business relations and made that happen behind the scenes. It took all I had not to leave work early and when I showed up it was being washed, Mike was just as excited and took me back to see it. It was gorgeous and all I had asked for and a bit more! I had my own financing coming in with what I thought was a really good rate. So when Dave the GM, asked me about financing through Mini, I sort brushed it off. But a few moments later he came back saying, «I had an options». He had got me financed at a much lower rate. I went with them immediately! Now the part I was dreading financing! Paperwork, upsell! Nope! Smooth as silk! Literally 15 minutes! Leo Berry, made it so painless. Thank you!
All of these men LOVE and believe in these cars and it shows in what they do. It’s like joining a new family. I trust them completely, so if you’re thinking about a mini, RUN to Camarillo Mini!

Love you guys! Sue and Travis are great in service. When my back glass was shattered by vandals the day after my wife and I bought our car you guys got the glass ordered from Germany when every other glass place in Ventura county couldn’t come through.
Love that you take care of our baby and give us a loaner while it is getting serviced. Glad we bought our mini cooper S and glad we bought it from you!

Stopped by Mini of Camarillo to service my wife’s Mini. Went to dinner while the car was being serviced. After dinner we went back and walked the lot. Josh came out and began showing us newer cars. My wife was wondering if she could trade in her 2008, so we looked and found a car we both liked. Unfortunately we were unable to trade it in. I was driving a 2012 Camry which we could use as a trade. Worked out the details and drove off with a 2015 Mini Cooper S. Thanks to both Eric and Josh for making the process doable. I love my Mini and now we are a two car Mini household!

Sue In the service dept. was top notch! She was very courteous and speedy in getting me in and out. This is one of the best run dealerships I have ever been in.
Dan in the parts dept. helped me with a key issue, I needed a new one, and made it all very easy for me. I left my jacket in the waiting room and they helped me get it back. I don’t usually right long reviews but felt this dealer and its staff deserved the time
Don’t hesitate going here. If it was closer it would be my main shop

I love MINI of Camarillo! Why? Because they care about you! Travis and his service team are awesome! The whole MINI of Camarillo staff treat you like family. They take time to answer questions that you have about MINI Cooper. They are knowledgable and friendly. Don’t let any negative reviews stop you from going to these people. The negativity is bogus!
I have NEVER EVER had a bad or poor experience with them. When it’s time to purchase another MINI (and I will eventually) I’ll go back to MINI of Camarillo.

I just was so impressed as I always am at the service at Steve Thomas Mini! I scheduled my first service for our new car and was in and out quickly and given a great loaner. My husband, without my knowledge, coordinated with the team to have my Christmas Gift installed while it was in, Sirius radio. This threw them up as it was going to take an extra day to get done, but they covered for it well, I didn’t even know! I got back my baby, running great and with new tunes! We have gotten both our minis serviced here, and won’t go anywhere else! Thank you!

Granted I’ve only bought one car from this dealer, their service and attitudes are top notch! I bring my Mini in for service and never have any issues. They could be a little better at calling back and have a few more cars on their loaner program but that does not affect the friendly atmosphere or the quality of their service or lessen the awesomeness of what they sell!

I am not proud to admit, however, that based on the treatment I received from the sales department on more than one visit, I should not have returned to complete my business here. I love my new car, but an inner voice tells me that I sold myself out in order to get it.

2011 Mini Cooper (base), 94,000 miles. I came to Mini of Camarillo after dealing with service departments at other dealers giving my SO the run around and BS. (30K mi).
Travis (Service guy) is straight up, detail orientated, and informative. That appeals to the engineer in me. I haven’t always wanted to hear about some repair I needed, but it all made intuitive sense when explained & compared to driving experience.
He suggested getting the extended maintenance warrantee (~$ 2K) when 36K ran out. ouch! — but I did & glad I did. It saved me a couple of grand in the long run.
I have some issues with the Mini & design flaws (running a wire through the oil pan & they are surprised it gets soaked with oil??) I had a design transaxle issue with a Honda — so all cars have problems.
But Travis & Crew have taken really good care of me. I don’t know about sales, but service has been awesome & fair.

Larry is the example of how sales should be done. No pressure, has a great personality that comes across as being genuine and from the heart.
He will answer your questions in an honest way and politely follow up with you without pressuring you, a rear quality on the world of car sales. We purchased a second Mini from Larry one week after the first one and happy to drive the distance.

I wanted to take the time to recognize the great experience my wife and I had in purchasing our new Mini Cooper S in Blazing Red. Larry Ellis did a super job from the initial introduction of the Mini to my wife to the test drives and searching for the exact car she desired. We had check ins from Willie as well as Steve Thomas to ensure that we were happy with the service we were receiving.
Overall a very well run business with customer service as the main objective.

If I could give Mini of Camarillo 6 stars, I would! Larry, Willie and the entire staff made my experience easy and seamless. They went above and beyond to answer my questions and get me in the exact Mini I wanted ~ the 2015 Countryman. The service department is excellent, as well, as they installed a couple extras for me.

I contacted 12 mini dealerships in Southern California and Larry at Camarillo was by far the most helpful, most encouraging dealer I spoke to. He made this new experience a joy. Even when there was a delay in the EPA certification, Larry continued to stay in contact with me and sent me a gift for my patience. Once the car arrived, Larry was amazing with helping me dealing with the final pieces of business so I could drive away with my beautiful 2015 Hardtop.
I did have experience with a couple other dealers at Camarillo, and Larry was by far the kindest and most sincere.
If you’re even just thinking about the mini, call Larry and ask him about what they have to offer.

Went in on Saturday afternoon to ask a bajillion questions before deciding on trading in my 2009 mini. Arturo didn’t disappoint. He had answers and knowledge about the car he was selling and about my older model. I can’t say the price dealing was a breeze but compared to other times I’ve bought a car this was a piece of cake! The whole process took a little over 2hours and that to me seems incredible. I’ve never been out of a dealership that fast. The financing paperwork felt like breeze and Kenisha explained everything we were signing in detail. The whole experience was great! Thank you to all the staff and especially Arturo because he put up with my pickiness and attitude very well.
Ps, I liked your staff way better than the staff at SF Mini. :-)
