We had a fantastic and amazing experience purchasing our new Toyota Highlander from DCH Toyota in Oxnard. Luis Estrada our salesman was great and also very funny but at the same time knowledgeable, patient, no pressure, and extremely helpful. We would highly recommend all our family members, friends and peoples we do business with to DCH Toyota and tell them to ask for Luis. I specifically like the fact that we were in and out of the qualifiying, and financing process very quickly, unlike other dealerships where we have been to over the years where we were there all evening long. I had a great experience buying my used 2013 Mazda2 from Brad and Gabe. I was dreading this experience, as it was my first time going to a dealer. Thinking we would be burning the midnight oil signing papers, we were out of the dealer in a few hours (4) and I felt like my concerns were heard and acknowledged. Brad gave me plenty of time to consult with other sources, family members, and friends about my questions regarding such a big purchase. He was straightforward and very professional. My latest experience was a major disappointment. The sales people were informed and courteous. The next rung up was another thing all together. He quoted one price, then came back with a higher number plus needless add ons like a Maintience Package, document fees, and other charges adding almost $ 4000 over the sticker price. The interest rate was the highest I have ever seen. To top it off he was rude and put out that he had to answer some basic questions. His responses were disingenuous. Try Frontier in Valencia. Great people, good price and no high pressure.

We had a great experience buying a new (2016) Prius from Dan and Andres. We used the AAA auto purchasing program, and the experience was really great overall. Wow, what an amazing car buying experience. I dreaded the thought of dealing with car salesmen before going here. We shopped around online before finding a car we felt would be a good fit. We were interested in one car in particular, sent an email and received a response rather quickly. We wanted to see it the next day.
We got offered a good deal as they contract deals with costco. The unfortunate downside to their great deal is there’s only 3 people who deal with the costco sales and 2 were near impossible to get a hold of.
After calling the 1^st guy Dan, repeatedly and not getting a response we tried calling someone else multiple times. The someone else apparently went home early… okay, we called to ask for the 3^rd person who was with a customer. The 3^rd person, Brad called us back within minutes and we scheduled a test drive.
I would highly recommend Brad, especially if it’s a costco deal! Brad was excellent, not pushy or aggressive, was respectful of our requests, and answered all of our questions. The only thing is he needs to be paged overhead when you call because he’s not on their directory. Hey, Toyota give Brad an easier way to access him!

I had a Toyota and took my car there almost three years ago. Everything was fine enough, although the service department was very adamant that I fixed a belt that wasn’t in need of repair because it could «break in the future.» Due to an unfortunate accident my Toyota was totaled in early 2014. However, I am still getting email reminders, US mail reminders, and sometimes even automated phone calls to remind me to take my car in for service. I have called DCH several times to let them know I no longer have the car and just leave me alone. When I do call I am transferred from department to department to department and it seems like no one can take me off their list. Maybe whoever reads Unilocal can take me off your email list and their phone call list because I’m tired of it. They make me want to never by another Toyota.

Dan Rolag in sales is AMAZING! This is our family’s third purchase from Dan. Our favorite part is that he’s straight forward. We feel we’re able to strike a win-​win deal extremely quickly and get on with the process. No one likes going through the paperwork, but — truly — all of the staff at Toyota makes it great.

Totally lied to us ! We went to look got a test drive just doing research! Rickardo was a strait shooter, them we met his closer ! What a lier! told us he’s would make a deal and what he could do … All lies ! Don’t trust these people deception is their game not an honest place to shop!

Oil change 101, put the cap back on the valve when done. Apparently they don’t do that here. I drove off thinking I was good to go but a few miles later my engine is smoking. Lift the lid and I see oil everywhere and of course a missing cap. Seriously! How do you forget to put it back on! Naturally they were obligated to pick up my car and take it in for a thorough steam clean and to recap my oil. Needless to say I will never go back to a place that makes such foolish errors. I’d rather go to jiffy lube!

I had been going to DCH Toyota of Oxnard since 2004 to service my1996 4Runner. When it came time to purchase a new vehicle in 2012, I went there first! Everyone from the salesmen to the service department are friendly and accommodating. If you want above par service though, ask for Bob or Art in the service department. I refuse to work with anyone else. Loyal customer for 12 years and still counting!

Let me tell you I recently moved to Oxnard and needed to get my 4 runner serviced… Oil change, fluids, same old same old but when I go to pay the person helping me tells me that my car needs a new sway bar and has a leaky water pump and how crucial it is that I get them fixed for the sake of my car! So I go to my home town mechanic in San Diego to learn more and he tells me it’s really not that bad and I should fix it within a year or so.
Then today I go in to get my car serviced again and what do you know they give me a list of critical problems that are putting my safety at risk… The brake disks are burned, new tires …
And let me tell you, not just any tires they quoted me over $ 2000 dollars for a set! What in the world makes tires here twice the price of discount tire? Are they vegan? Or made from local rubber? Give me a break…
These guys are fishermen they look for any little issue and make it seem life or death.
Let me tell you I am starting to miss my Home town dealer and the way they looked out for my pocket not theirs!

The sales team is exactly what you what expect for a used car dealer. We had worked with one sales man who gave us a written offer on a Tuesday, when we returned on Sunday they completely took back the offer. The salesman used the traditional sales tactics to pressure us into purchasing they car RIGHT NOW. He also did not want to speak to is until we ran our credit. After an unpleasant test drive, a rude and unorganized sales team, and the management retracting the written offer we were given we had a less than 1 star experience.
PLEASE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

I can’t say enough about this place! Art was my service guy today and like always was amazing! Even though I came at the wrong time he took my Van in and looked at my tire situation… We ended up getting an allinement and tire balancing done. During my wait Toyota offered free lunch they just happening to be BBQ today so I had a yummy lunch
(cheeseburger, chili, chips, and a drink)! With a cookie for desert! I also visited the service shop where I buy my favorite car freshener… it smells amazing and lasts so long! (Plus I researched Amazon and several other places they are the cheapest price!)Staff was amazing their as well! I always leave this place feeling well taken care of… I highly recommend and don’t forget to ask for Art! (by the way… I was out exactly when they quoted me which made it perfectly on time to pick up my kids all the back in Agoura! Thanks DCH!!! See you in another 5k miles.

This is a review for the «Service Department»
I recently purchased a 2012 Toyota Camry from CarMax, just down the street, and I needed to take my car in for it’s first official oil change.
While i know there are many fine independent auto mechanics I generally take newer cars to dealerships while they are still under warranty so that if there are any major mechanical problems they will be taken care of right there.
My experience with most car dealership service departments is that they run like pretty organized machines You pull your car into the service area, a service associate comes out to get your keys, has you sign a few things and you are on your way to watching Dr. Phil and drinking bad coffee with a bunch of strangers but that wasn’t case here.
My first issue was that when I pulled up to the service department entrance it was not really clear where to put your car. There is a sign to pull forward but there is no specific indication where to leave your car. Secondly, once I pulled in, no one came out to greet me, take my keys and write down the mileage. I stood there for a few seconds waiting but no one came out.
When I went inside, to the area where all the service associates are located, it was still not clear where to check in and no one immediately came to greet me. It was not that all of them were busy but I got the feeling like it wasn’t there job to help me. Someone did finally check me in but she did not seem that happy about it and I felt like I was an annoyance.
And, when I came back to pick my car up, it was more of the same. I walked in and stood in front of this big counter but no one bothered to ask me if I needed help. The woman who had checked me in was at the other end of the counter with her back to me chatting up one of her co-​workers and would not quite turn around far enough to see me.
I finally got attention after a middle aged woman, of a much lighter complexion I might add, came in and immediately was asked if she needed help by what I am assuming was one of the managers. But she was nice enough to point out that I was there first like this guy did not notice the 6’2, 260 pound black guy, standing right in front of him
I could have been here on an off day but my take is that this place needs better organization and they need to up their customer service level quite a bit. I am a pretty low maintenance, no pun intended, customer and I don’t expect anyone to kiss my rear but I also don’t want to have to expend a lot of energy when I a just dropping my car off for an oil change.
