Rackk & Ruin is a sun drenched jewelry studio and retail shop in Burlington’s vibrant South End, featuring designs by owner Molly Conant as well as an ever changing selection of curated vintage apparel and jewelry (most of which is only available in store and not on our website). Our retail shop is open to the public Tuesdays & Thursdays from 12 – 5, Saturdays from 12 – 4 and by chance or appointment during on Wednesdays & Fridays.

History

Established in 2009.

Since its inception, Rackk & Ruin has been known for its unique take on jewelry design. By marrying vintage elements with current trends, we create pieces that embody well-​loved treasures while remaining modern. We apply these same themes to our store’s selection of vintage apparel and vintage jewelry, by offering pieces that are unique, well-​crafted and timeless. You’ll find vintage denims, wool knits, leather boots and statement jewelry.

Business Owner

Designer Molly Conant has followed in her father’s metalworking footsteps (Steve Conant of the adjoining Conant Metal & Light), just on a much smaller scale. She started Rackk & Ruin from her home in 2009, experimenting with natural materials including leather, feathers, and metal in her handmade jewelry. Encouraged by the enthusiasm of her early customers, she opened her first studio in 2012 and has continued to design and produce a growing collection of unique pieces, celebrated by both local customers and international retailers. Drawing inspiration from mixed metals and vintage elements, Molly fills the Rackk & Ruin studio and shop on Pine Street with an ever changing assortment of treasures and welcomes visitors.
