I totally agree with those who give them one star review. Stay away and I don’t think you like to deal with «one time service company».

Although I wrote a glowing review of RatPros before, I have to update it with a less praiseworthy report. A few weeks ago, something clearly had died in our basement, or more likely got caught in one of the traps RatPros set and crawled into the walls to die. The stench was overpowering for several days and lingered for at least two weeks. At its height, I contacted Tina to find out the locations of the rat traps they had set in the crawlspace on their previous visit. I left two voicemails and an email but got no response. All it would have taken was a phone call, but no answer came. In her defense, she didn’t charge me for the follow-​up visit; however, it’s never a good sign when you get no response from a service that you’ve contacted. For this reason I’ve downgraded my original rating from four to two stars.

Stay away. They misdiagnosed my problem, and under delivered. They didn’t come back to check or reset traps unless I bothered them to come out. I still have traps in my attic as I type. They also became aggressive and threatening wanting payment immediately and before anything was removed from the house. Never heard from them again once payment was received. They did do a thorough job in sealing up the house, but it was unnecessary. They were certain I had roof rats, but I’ve yet to see one. My guess is a squirrel nest, but they never bothered to investigate or deal with the nest as they agreed to.

Not sure about all these 5 star reviews below, must be friends of theirs but that’s how they got me. Used them last September 2012 because we had mice coming over from the next door neighbors house which was a dump. It’s a mom and son team paid these guys $ 750 to rat/​mice proof my house. They basically went and used chicken wire and nails to block off all the areas they said mice could get into my house through, looked pretty ghetto too, not a pro looking job at all. They were supposed to come back 3 times to make sure the problem was gone. Had to call them each time to come back. They also gave a 1 year warranty, had mice issues again called them and all the mom did was bitch about it.
Looking for a new pest control company now to handle the issue. Don’t waste your money on these guys. Fake reviews all around I’m guessing.
I don;t usually write reviews either but I really don;t want anyone else falling for these 5 stars reviews like I did.

One night I saw a rat in my garage. Trapping on my own was ineffective. Called RatPros and just like the other reviews, Ted and Tina were professional and very thorough. They explained what they were doing and gave really good advice on how to deal with my rodent problem. I definitely would recommend them to my family and friends. Had work done in March 2013.
Yesterday, May 3^rd, after hearing some noises called RatPros to check out my house again (part of their warranty) and they promptly found a new entry point and they sealed it up.
I also highly recommend their service.

These guys were really good! Responsive, affordable, and very thorough. I hired them last summer, and since our property in a high traffic commercial area, rodents always found their way into the basement. Over the past year, we have not had any issues.

RatPros were there when I needed them most. Their staff were extremely punctual, professional, and friendly. I would definitely recommend their service!

We had a terrible rat infestation in the crawl space beneath our house when we purchased it in October, 2011. We got a recommendation for RatPros and decided to work with them after meeting Tina.
They cleared out the entire crawl space (which was disgusting), sealed the entire exterior of the house, replaced damaged insulation, and finally disinfected the entire area. It looks immaculate down there.
The best part — they guarantee their work for a full year. In June of 2012, we had a situation where a mother raccoon ripped off a grate and nested in the crawlspace. These guys came back several times to fix the problem, and re-​seal the house, all free of charge because of the guarantee.
Highly recommend this company. We had a great experience at a reasonable price.

We had a huge issue with rats and RatPros took care of the problem quick and effectively, and we no longer have an issue. Friendly and easy to work with. Knowledgeable and very professional. Highly recommended company for your rodent problems.
