Jeff and crew are amazing. About 9 months ago, Audio Images installed a contemporary multimedia DVD/​CD/​XM/​Bluetooth/​Android system and backup camera in my older Toyota pickup. The setup was a bit challenging due to existing components I was trying to preserve. Thanks to their excellent attention to detail and customer service, my commute was suddenly enjoyable! Due to excellent suggestions and recommendations, my 10-​year old vehicle feels technologically current now with hands-​free, navigation, video, USB, etc.
Installation was clean and looked like it came from the factory this way.
Service is excellent. These guys stand solidly behind their work. We had some challenges along the way, because retaining some old components required some tricky wiring and adapters. On three separate occasions, some of these specialized parts had problems and they got me fixed up in a hurry. There was never any question about warranty and they were flexible in setting up repair appointments.
The most recent repair was just last month, and I had the same fantastic service. Even after 9 months, they just fixed my problems without question. I was pleasantly surprised to walk in, have them hand me my keys and say «You’re all set. Let us know if it acts up again.»

I would absolutely recommend this shop for any/​all car-​stereo/​audio needs. They are awesome.
I tried installing my own car stereo! It went OK. Except when I plugged it in, it wouldn’t work. I bunged up the wiring harness somehow. Figuring I gave it the old college try, I stopped by Audio Images after work one day to see if they could diagnose or recommend where I’d gone wrong — or just make it go. :) They had just finished their last scheduled job for the day, and Anthony was there working at the desk. I told him the situation, and he called the owner to see if they could just take a look for me, as well as get a cost estimate. After chatting with the owner for a moment, he let me know they could squeeze me in, and they’d likely charge me $ 35 at the most if they could indeed get it going (which he suspected they could do).
So Anthony takes my bunged-​up wiring harness and deck and keys, and then directs me to their comfy sofa and wifi in the lobby. About 10 minutes later he was back, and got it going. He even programmed the clock. Knowing I was interested in how to make it «go» he even popped it back out to show me what he’d done to the wiring harness – which was to actually rewire the whole thing – beautifully… in 10 minutes… They charged me $ 35 and I was in and our in about 20 minutes total. Anthony was also super respectful and professional, and even appreciated my interest in the process – such a great experience working with him!
Another noteworthy thing was that they had their labor/​rates posted right at the front desk, so there was no guessing about install charges. Small, but super helpful and honest.

I found this place on Unilocal,due to the fact I needed my radio installed asap and after work was not going to be easy. However I found this place and they hooked it up! Jeff was awesome! Great Customer service, I stopped in one day to get an estimate, and the next day they got the Job done. I can’t complain I left happy because now I’m off to my trip in LA with my stereo.

We have had two vehicles worked on here and what a great bunch of people very smart and knowledgeable about their craft.

I originally got my subs installed by some other company and the wires they did snapped and had to be redone. I walked into Audio Images and asked them if they could help me out. They charge $ 35/​hour min but they said they would hook me up for just $ 20 because it was a simple job. Really friendly guys. I will be back for future business.

These guys are nothing short of incredible. I, like many others, searched high and low to find someone to handle my case. My 2007 F150 has an OEM rear seat DVD entertainment center, and I wanted to maintain the convenience of my self-​installed USA-​Spec iPod adapter along with the OEM look of the stock stereo. Well, NO other shop could even say with any confidence that they had the ability to tackle such a job. Then I found these guys, and Jeff’s confidence (not to be confused with cockiness, as he is as humble as they come in this industry) and honesty painted the perfect can-​do picture. He scheduled me for a couple weeks down the road.
Once I had my car in their shop, I explained the specifics of what I wanted, which included installing the required switch in a hidden location within the center console, and then to zip-​tie the USA-​Spec module somewhere behind the stereo to keep it from rattling. «No problem, we can do that for you,» Jeff said. He wrote me up a quote for the work, but it gets better…
I came back a few hours later to find these guys working through their lunch hour. Marco, the guy who worked on my car, walked me through what he did, proudly showed me his work (which exceeded the fix I was expecting), handed me back to Jeff for payment (who beat his original quoted amount), and then asked Jeff, «what can I do now?» On his lunch break. ARE THESE GUYS FOR REAL!!!
These guys exude customer service, and unfortunately in the Bay Area not many businesses are so geared toward the customer service experience anymore. Couple that with the fact that these guys are knowledgeable problem solvers and I can safely say it doesn’t get much better than this for a consumer. THANK YOU AUDIO IMAGES!

My experience at this place was nothing short of amazing, I went to like 7 – 9 different places around the Bay Area and honestly this was my favorite. I wanted to get a sub installed for my Audi s5, Jeff gave me some options, I told him what I liked, what I wanted, and he was spot on with his suggestion! Definitely coming back to change the speakers next!

I can’t say enough good stuff about this place!!! Jeff is extremely knowledgeable and goes out of his way to make sure you have a positive experience and puts up with all manner of stupid questions (trust me, I asked them all). The quality of the work they do here is top notch and they have a lot of good ideas to make your install that much better. Their prices are awesome too, since I was quoted far less for an install here than anywhere else I called. I highly recommend Audio Images to anyone looking to add any aftermarket sound to your vehicle.

The guys at Audio Images are great. I had a morning appointment to install a new stereo which I missed. I wasn’t able to call them until 2:45 pm to apologize for my no show and they told me to come on in, they would still get the installation done that day. I got there after 3:00 pm and was on my way home by 5. I was concerned that the new stereo would not fit neatly into the space left by the old model but it looks absolutely perfect.
A very professional job at a very reasonable price in less than 2 hours. Thank you! I highly recommend.

The ONLY place I go to for audio work done on my car! The staff is very friendly and accommodating. When a customer leaves their car or motorcycle, they have no problem offering to give a ride to wherever they need to go. Sweet! That means I don’t have to deal with asking a friend for a ride. Jeff and Ryan are always feeding customers with knowledge so they can truly have a good experience and purchase the product that they want and will feel happy with. Prices are good, customer service is excellent, my favorite place.

I’m very happy with the a sound system I got done today at Audio Images! Jeff is the man! He installed a pioneer stereo, two 6.5 door speakers, two subs and two amps! I’m a returning customer and there’s a reason why I keep coming back! Great customer service and quality work.

Went into this place today looking to drop some serious money and stood in the show room for almost 10 mins. No customer service. One guy in the back working on a car. Stood at the counter for a couple minutes and still nothing. They have awesome reviews so I assume they are great, however my experience was lacking. Taking my money elsewhere.

I’m a little delayed in this review since I dealt with Audio Images back in January.
I have a factory stereo in my van that is actually quite nice but lacks Bluetooth connectivity. I stopped by and spoke with Aaron. He was very generous with his time and information, even giving examples of cheaper ways to get Bluetooth. I ended up really liking the idea of Parrot MKi9200. In addition to giving me the ability to call by Bluetooth, I could stream audio as well. There are also included inputs for iPod, USB, SD and stereo minijack. Aaron really knew what was currently available and was following soon to be released items from the CES show in Las Vegas.
Installation was quick and very professional looking. I don’t like aftermarket look so they made sure it fit in as well as possible. The job was done sooner than expected and right at the quoted amount. It looks and sounds great. I will be a return customer anytime I have car audio needs!

I was very pleased on the service I got from Audio Images, the staff was polite and professional, I was shopping around for places that would install my two Pioneer 12’s, and Pioneer amp, I’m glad that I came here, the shop is clean and in a great location right off of El camino near my house, they worked on my car without an appointment, I like the way I was treated and I would highly recommend this shop to anyone who wants the best for the car. Five stars!

BEST AUDIO SHOP HANDS DOWN. I was referred to Jeff years ago and I feel like family every time I’m at the shop. Recently I got a new pioneer avh-​x2700bs deck and JL sub and I love them. Jeff always picks the right stuff tailored to you and your needs. The staff is great and friendly and also gave me a ride to and from work. I don’t go on Unilocal much but when I do it’s to brag about only great businesses! Much love guys!

Jeff and Ryan were champs. They worked hard to make sure I was satisfied, even taking me to and from the shop to accommodate my scheduled. The deck I brought to them required extra work with the manufacturer, which they happily did, to make sure all the features were up and running.

Almost year and half ago I got the back senior and camera from these guys. They did really good job for my ML 350. The back camera almost likes the original one. It has nice night sensitization and clear vision. So great job.

Solid business.
They came to my office to replace my stolen stereo via my insurance claim.
Jeff came by, met him, and he installed it in 30 minutes, then showed me the ropes.
The previous stereo was installed by Best Buy a couple years ago and it took them 90 minutes.
