Never experienced a worse experience in my life When it comes to a dinner out! We tried going here for dinner, it was very busy. We had reservations for 8pm, and didn’t sit down until 9pm, which is ok but we sat ourselves at an empty table because no one came and got us. Then we waited another hour until we decided to write our own order down to hand into the cooks because no waitress ever came and everyone was starving! Finally at 10:45pm a waitress came over to ask if we needed anything.(we’ve been sitting there for almost 2 hours, yes we need something!) our dinner salads were finally brought out at 11, and half the meals came out a little after. I ordered steak and lobster tail, everything was cold and no sides I ordered came with it! My girlfriend never got any food she ordered so we ended up splitting my plate. All and all they are not capable of handling a large dinner crowd so if you plan on going here try to make it for lunch or a weekday dinner

TRAGIC, that is all I can say. Well not really so let me continue… my friends and I came here to celebrate a birthday with the hopes of a good meal from a locally owned, LGBT friendly establishment however our experience was anything but pleasant. It was a Friday night and the restaurant is sparsely populated however our table of 9 experienced an extremely long wait for our food, had it been busier I wouldn’t have thought much of it. A few at our table ordered appetizers and while we waited they brought out bread. Sliced and served with oil and butter the bread was enjoyable which lead up hopes for a good meal. Once the appetizers finally arrived, mostly soups people worked through them accordingly however this was the start to a VERYLONG wait for the main course. One friends had to send back the first round of mussels due to the majority of them were NOT open!!! How does a cook or chef not take note of when the majority of the mussels haven’t opened when a dish when is being plated??? I’m not sure if they were the Drunken or Savory however they appeared to be in a cream sauce but it could have been lemon and butter. The mussel I had was sweet for which the sauce, with just a touch of heat complimented nicely. With the main course taking forever to come to table there is the chance that some hanger kicked it however even if that was the case NOONE enjoyed their meal for a variety of reasons. My main course was the Rust Belt Burger, an 8oz burger deceptively described as topped with shredded pork, bacon and cheddar cheese served on a kaiser roll. I had requested my burger be cooked medium well however upon it coming out it was prepared well, just under hockey puck. It may have been under the broiler for an unnecessarily long time as the cheese melted to the side to the point of black charcoal. I could barely make my way through this monstrosity before giving up. The rest of the table had a similar experience for different reasons either due to the flavor being just off or it was just not enjoyable. My friend that had onion rings with his fish fry was a tad disappointed with what he got, although they appear to be made in-house they are very thinly sliced and maybe use a panko bread crumb however they have no texture or substance to them, nothing like thd onion ring you would expect. Lastly for some reason the restaurant allowed a woman to enter, not a patron of the restaurant she came around to each table asking for diners to buy a bouquet of roses. WHATISTHIS??? I don’t come to a restaurant to get approached by someone on the street to be solicited. Also from my observation our server was becoming more and more disgruntled with us for no reason. Even though we were not having a pleasant experience we never said anything negative to him and kept a pleasant demeanor however by the end he was practically pushing out the door. I have no plans of returning on purpose and it would take a massive amount of change to convince me.

Had dinner for two tonight. The app platter(crab cakes /stuffed banana pepper /fried lasagna) wasn’t great — lots of breading, not much flavor. The filet was tasty and cooked as ordered. House wine was a positive. Service was good. Not bad for the price but nothing spectacular.

Our server was literally taking care of the entire restaurant. She did the best she could under these circumstances. A party of 4, we waited over an hour during a non-busy time for our food. The food was mediocre at best. I definitely will NOT be back. Save yourself the trip.

Fantastic place! Very good food from Beef on weck to steak diners and seafood. It’s very clean and fresh looking and 2 cool bars. I continue to run into neighbors and familiar faces. I love bringing friends to Friday night diner here. One favorite dish is pepper jack Mac and cheese. Also, enjoy the stuffed banana peppers.

The new owners did a great job revamping the interior, bright, trendy, spacious. So why did the hostess seat us at a two top, when many fours were open? Oh well. First impression of our server was that she was experienced and we were in good hands. First impressions aren’t always dead on. How many times do you get a pass for forgetting water, two, three times? At how many tables? Guess you sell more wine that way… So, the food? Medium. Like that the menu was on the small side, makes you think every thing will be prepared fresh. Pork chop with peaches was ok, wish the menu would have said it was a boneless chop. Not as tender. The seasonal vegetable was zucchini and yellow squash, done just right, too bad the sauce from the chop flooded the plate and the vegs were swimming in it. The fish fry? Fish was good, but the salads were awful. Bordering on rancid. Did we complain? No. Should we have? Yes. Will we go back? Nuff said.
