I live in a brownstone with several units. One day I heard a balls bouncing & I could tell someone was playing with a pet in the apartment below. That was the day that I met Lynn & that was about 6 years ago. She was cat sitting for my neighbor & I’ve used her cat sitting services ever since. Since they stick with one sitter who gets to know you & your pet, I can only speak for Lynn. But I trust her judgement and her heart for animals and would therefore, trust her other sitters. I’m a nervous cat parent & my rescue still has flashbacks to her feral days so it’s a relief to leave her with someone who loves animals & will treat her like their own. I’ve called Lynn and intruded upon her time for advice on issues ranging from pet adoptions to vet’s giving bad advice about feline urologic syndrome. If you think of your pet as a member of your family you will feel comfortable and grateful for this service.

Let me say that The Dog Walking Network is just the best! I don’t know what we – or our two dogs — would do without Amy, Lynne and the whole crew at Dog Walking Network. They are always there for us; they are dependable, and professional — with just the right amount of personal — which means their customer service is spot on. Whether it’s our regular, daily routine or an overnight stay because we’re out of town, we never worry because we know Dog Walking Network has it covered. I highly recommend them.

The Dog Walking Network has been exceptional! We have dealt with both the owners and our walker on multiple occasions and they have always been friendly and professional. They made our recent move very easy and our dog loves her walker (which she hasn’t always in the past). I highly recommend them.

Let me start by saying that I write a review for a business less than once/​year and only for ones that have really awesome customer service.
When we first got our dog, Maxie, she was 3 months old and we had absolutely no idea what we were doing. We found The Dog Walking Network via Unilocal and reached out to them Saturday afternoon after bringing her home. In no time, we had an appointment scheduled for Amy to come by and meet her the next day. She instantly made us feel at ease and confident that Maxie would be well taken care of.
Given that we were totally new to this, we asked a ton of questions over email and the response was always prompt and professional. If there’s any change in service or new dog walkers, you’re always notified before it happens.
We had several weekend weddings to attend right after getting Maxie, so we used their overnight stay services as well, at $ 90/​night for a puppy. A walker stays at your place while you’re away, which means she gets plenty of individualized attention. The first time we came back, I’m pretty sure they’d even washed the bed sheets right before they left. I’m always a fan of unexpected cleanings!
Finally, we went away for two weeks in the fall on a trip planned pre-​Maxie. We wanted Maxie to stay with my boyfriend’s brother + girlfriend, but they live in Fort Greene. Without hesitation, The Dog Walking Network made it work even though Fort Greene is outside their coverage zone, so Maxie was able to continue her daily walks with them.
All in all, The Dog Walking Network made it so, so much easier on us when we were embarking on the crazy adventure that is adopting a puppy in NYC. We will forever be appreciative for it.

what an incredible group of people. Lynn and her crew take such good care of our pet and have always done so for our other cats. They play with them, give them meds, and are so responsible. Leo our cat is quite happy when we come home because he has been so well looked after, and there is a note about how much he played and what he ate.

After trying a handful of bad/​okay dog walkers (and attempts to get in touch with a hundred others), we finally came across Amy and Spencer at The Dog Walking Network.
I can not recommend them enough. Not only do they communicate constantly with me via e-​mail and hand written notes but they understand my dogs quirky/​stubborn/​anxious personalities. I 100% trust them with my dogs and can go about my day worry free knowing they can handle them.
They are super professional and incredibly nice. I love coming home to happy dogs.

The Dog Walking Network is a great Dog Walking service. They are very professional, great communication, easy to use on-​line scheduling, and reasonable rates. I’m in Carroll Gardens and had trouble finding a dog walker that could work with my schedule (changes weekly) and with the Dog Walking Network, it was not an issue. Plus, the boarding is fantastic… my pup always comes back healthy and happy from a boarding stay. I would highly recommend the Dog Walking Network.

We just started using The Dog Walking Network and we couldn’t be happier. We adopted our cat 2 years ago, and have been relying on friends and family up until now. It became clear that our little high maintenance kitty needed more than the occasional check-​in while we were away, and based on their Unilocal reviews we decided to contact The Dog Walking Network. From our first dealings with them they have been great. Lynne came over to meet our cat, stayed until he (finally – he is a bit of a scaredy cat) came out, and by the end of the meet and greet he was crawling all over her. We scheduled one visit before a week long vacation, during which Lynne sent 4 pictures of our kitty playing with her. While we were on our vacation, Lynne sent daily emails about our kitty and her visits with him. She also tried to introduce him to a new sitter, but since we warned her that he tends not to like men she came with him for a few visits, because she didn’t want to leave the new sitter until our cat was comfortable with him. We feel so much better traveling now, since we don’t have to worry about our kitty. If we could give a sixth star we would!

They are wonderful with cats and I am not surprised to see all these perfect reviews. After one of our cats was diagnosed with cronic kidney failure The company we used before did not have a vet tech on staff and could not do the required injections. they recommended Lynne and the Dog Walking Network and we could not be happier! Even with a sick cat we are comfortable traveling bc we know that everyday the cats are played with, fed, medicated and loved! When we returned from our last trip we were amazed to find that our sick cat had even put on weight, a true miracle. The icing on the «cat»… A well organized website that allows you to upload a picture of each animal and care instructions so there are no miscommunications.
When we are away we get regular updates via text message and as other reviews have stated the apartment was spotless. They even get supplies we forgot to put out without us needing to ask them too! Lynne and the Dog Walking Network gave us the ability to be able to leave with the confidence that our important furry friends will be healthy and well cared for.
Do Not Hesitate. Give them a call. They truly love animals and it shows!!!

Despite their name these ladies cater WONDERFULLY for cat owners too.
Summary — visit to meet the cats, online account where clients can reserve/​request visits in various time-​slots, reassuring emails with photos, cats fed and played with, everything left immaculate, follow up. No hassle, I’ll certainly use them again.
Details — We were leaving our two for the first time and obviously I was a little nervous — especially since the cats are young rescue cats we’ve only had a few months — but as soon as I met Lynne I started to feel more confident. Despite my giving less than a week’s notice they were able to arrange for her to come and meet the cats before we went away and easily accomodated our requirements.
She came round to the flat and made sure both kitties saw as well as heard her by getting down to their under the bed eye level without actually pushing herself into their space and making them feel trapped. She explained what she usually does, I showed her the food, litter set up etc. (I wondered if they might need two visits a day but this was never pushed for by Lynne despite being more lucrative.) and that was that. (& It transpired that she knows the lady responsible for our cats’ rescue which was a plus point for me.)
After she left I actually changed my mind about the timing of the visits so. I just went to my online account and changed things — I had a text shortly after to confirm.
Now to the best bit — while we were away I got one email per visit with a photo of my two scaredy cats out in the open seemingly indifferent to our absence (! I know right cats ?). The cats were progressively closer each visit too. From what she said I KNOW she is talking about my cats not just repeating generalisations which could apply to any cat.
When we got home the place was immaculate and the cats looked none the worse for wear.
Obviously I’ll still miss the cats the next time we go away but I won’t worry about them !

Amy and Lynne are a godsend! Besides being wonderful pet sitters (They’ve been watching my two cats for a few years now.) they are just really nice, decent, trustworthy (important because they have a set of keys to my house) people who adore animals. My kitties are always so happy when Amy and Lynne (or anyone on their team for that matter) sit for them — they get a full half hour of intense play-​time. And my plants get watered too, which is a bonus. Any and Lynne are always available last minute, and are super easy to schedule either via email, text, or through their website, which is also really easy to set up payment on. I beyond highly recommend them to anyone in the area.

The folks at the Dog Walking Network are great. They started as our back-​up option (when our regular walker wasn’t available) and their service, consistency and professionalism convinced us to switch them to our primary service provider.
You can tell they really love their jobs and care about their pets and clients. Carmen is our regular walker and my dog goes bananas when he sees her on the street. He loves her. He can’t wait to be near her.
Any time Carmen can’t walk our dog, she asks if she can introduce him to someone new and gives me feedback on their meeting. He is never «picked up» by a stranger, they always bring someone he knows — even if he’s walked by two people.
Amy runs a really efficient and seamless business. Their billing is prompt, clear and fair. Communications are handled via email, which is really nice.
The regular walks are great our dog has clearly bonded with his walker, but the weekend stay options really set this company apart from others. Our dog is a rescue and does not like being crated, so we can’t board him when we travel. The Dog Walking Network offers an amazing option. They place your pet in the home of non-​pet owning pet lovers for the weekend OR they will stay in your home. The fees are comparable to that of a kennel, but your pet is comfortable and doted on. The families our dog stays with live just off Prospect Park, so he gets lots of exercise on his weekends away. Amy has mentioned that he isn’t ready to leave his vacation home most weekends.
I am thankful we found The Dog Walking Network and recommend them highly to anyone who is looking for regular, back-​up or weekend care for their pets.

I could not recommend this business more highly. Lynne, Amy, Marissa, and Carmen have all walked my little Ruby, who has severe separation anxiety. Because of her anxiety, I usually hire them to do sleepovers at my house, and each time I have comfortably enjoyed my vacation because they send me notes and pictures of my dog maxing and relaxing.
I have lived in Park Slope for years and have known and hired many dogwalkers. These are some of the best. Their customer service is as strong as their work ethic and care for the pets. They truly treat your animal like one of their own.

Lynne has been my cat sitter for more than 13 years, and she is a prize. First and foremost, she clearly loves my pets (and the feeling is mutual). I’m sure that she and Amy give their boarding clients the same thoughtful attention that my cats are privileged to receive.
She helps with the medication regimen for my chronically ill cat, and has made sure he’s gotten to an emergency-​care facility a couple of times when he was in dire straits while I was away. She was flexible enough to extend her assignment when I was stuck out of town thanks to the blizzard of December 2010, and trudged through the snow to reach him. She also readily pitched in on short notice to care for the cat of a friend of mine, a fellow client, who was unexpectedly hospitalized for a couple of weeks last fall.
She has frequently gone the extra mile for me: visiting a hospitalized cat on my behalf when I couldn’t leave work, making extra home visits to check on a foster pet’s welfare even though she was dealing with a family crisis, and helping me go «shopping» for a cat to adopt. While these aren’t typical services, of course, they help paint an accurate picture of her loyalty, kindness, and dedication to her clients.
I’ve been happy to be able to recommend Lynne to several friends and neighbors – who have sometimes passed her name along to others in turn.

I met Amy on the street one day. I had boarded my dog somewhere else and she had gotten bit. Amy was walking some other dogs (including my landlord’s dog!) and was so nice when I met her.
Amy and Lynne came to my house to meet the Lambchopper and discuss the entire process. Since then, boarding my dog has been an absolute pleasure. Lamby is picked up and brought home before I even know she’s gone. To be perfectly honest, I think she gets better exercise when she’s boarding than when I am home!
I cannot say enough great things about The Dog Boarding Network. What an amazing find this was! Highly recommend!

I’ve known Lynne for about 8 years when she was recommended to me by a dog behaviourist back in the days when she did doggie day care. I’m the owner of a feisty Shiba Inu named Madra, and though I love him dearly I have to admit he is high maintenance. Lynne is amazing with dogs and Madra adores her. She understands dogs like on one I’ve ever met. Amy was also a referral by a neighbor with another Shiba Inu, and she dog sat for us while we were on vacation. She was wonderful and Madra loved her. She gave us a great photo of him from when she played with him in our backyard with the garden hose… his favorite thing to do! They make a great team with their Dog Boarding service.
It is hard to leave one’s dog behind but if you have to do it there is no one as conscientious, smart and loving with dogs as Amy and Lynne are. I recommend them both highly. Between them they have decades of experience with dogs and are loving an d smart with them. The Dog Boarding Network is a great service for those of us who love our dogs but who sometimes need to leave them in good hands.

Before we had to leave our dog, Rainn, Amy and Lynne met with me and discussed the process. Going out of town and having to leave your dog behind is never fun, but they made me feel really comfortable. After we talked about Rainn and his personality and needs, they matched him with a person whose personality and living situation was the best fit. They provided pick-​up and drop-​off transportation, and Rainn came home happy and healthy. I’ll definitely leave Rainn with them again, and when I meet other people at the dog park who need to go out of town, I always recommend these folks.
