Following four family generations in New York City’s lighting industry, CEO Joel Slavis shifted focus to energy-​efficient LED technology over a decade ago.

«You don’t ask for the world to be saved,» he explains. «You just perceive the need and act. LED lighting is quickly becoming an obvious solution to the universal problem of energy waste through widespread use of inefficient lighting technologies, so it seemed nothing more than natural for me to form this new company.»
