their liars, they don’t let you leave without tipping a minimum of $ 20. they don’t accept their groupon deals. never ever have appointments, and their LAZER DOES NOT WORK. waste of time and aggravation

I have been seeing Alla for years. I have areas that are completely clean (no hair), whether from electrolysis or laser and the only reason it’s taken so long has been my own on-​again-​off-​again schedule! I’ve tried going to other people when I’ve lived in other places and I can tell when they’re not doing it right. Alla’s the best. She’s fast and accurate, and she keeps things light and fun. Being there is like therapy. She encourages me to keep going when we work on sensitive spots that hurt even with skin-​numbing cream. Her location and hours aren’t the most convenient, but I’ve stayed with her because I know she’s doing it right, I enjoy talking to her, and, frankly, she’s the least expensive option I know of. Laser in particular can be expensive, and other places will try to sell you packages. At this point, I’m mostly doing laser touch up and electrolysis of ones that don’t respond to laser. Alla let’s me schedule as much/​little time as I need for touch ups, I can also do combination electrolysis/​laser sessions, and she charges me accordingly.
Some reviewers have complained about staff. In my experience, the only staff member who’s gruff is Maya who I mostly talk to on the phone about scheduling, but hasn’t been there lately when I go. I think of her as a Russian «sabra» (Israeli cactus fruit) — she’s sorta prickly on the outside, but she’s a very nice person so I don’t hold it against her.

Poor customer service! My groupon deal expired however they still scheduled me just to tell me when I showed up for my laser hair removal treatment that my deal expired! You couldn’t call me and ask if I wanted to renew over the phone!!! I cancelled my other plans to show up to wait and then for them to tell me no treatments unless I renew! They couldn’t even give me an extension since I was already here and give me a chance to think about renewing! I had 8 treatments at their old location and 1 year worth at this location and still need to continue my treatment! That should tell you about their treatments… it doesn’t work… you will always have to go back every 6−8weeks! Her reply… you skip treatments. .well that’s because if I can’t make it to one, it takes another 1 month to reschedule! That’s how unavailable they are! Spend your money elsewhere! I never felt so strongly about a place… this is my first Unilocal review!

I have been a loyal customer for 2 years or more even before tgey moved and changed their name from skin touch skin solutions. i was first referred but my friends. I must say it has gotten worst and i had enough and had to write a review. I dont even use groupon from them. They are nice when they feel like it. The front desk girl at the front has an attitude. They are always speaking russian infront of you making you feel uncomfortable. The technicians are thorough and good. However, if someone is late, they still take them in right away while you wait forever for your turn even though you were early or on time for your laser appointment. And when you ask them why they havnt at least gave you a call to let you know or apologize, they are speechless. In addition, this happens very often and its quite frustrating since my significant other drives me here and waits in the car for me in the freezing cold but of course they dont care how inconvenienced you are. Alternatively, When you happen to be only 5mins late, you wind up waiting way over an hour while they take a customer who is also late that came in way after you that is their own people (russian) in before you. Overall, it is a gooD deal without using a groupon and the technicians are very thorough, but everything else is not smooth unless you are russian After my package is done i will not come back or recommmend this place to a friend.

This is a warning for those who see a deal for laser hair removal at this salon on Groupon.
I bought that Groupon, since the salon is not far from where I live, and then called this place to schedule an appointment, on 1÷28÷15. They told me they wouldn’t be able to give me an appointment until end of March — beginning of April.
I thought a 2+ month long wait was totally unacceptable, canceled that Groupon purchase, and bought another deal at another salon that gave me an appointment the very same weekend.
Frankly, I don’t understand why they even offer the Groupon deal if they can’t handle the volume of customers it brings in. A 2-​week wait maybe would have been understandable, a 2-​month one — not so much.

Horrible customer service. Very rude and disrespectful employees. I bought one groupon for 10 treatments, I wanted to see how the treatments work to see whether ot not I should buy other treatments to other areas. I only got 4 treatments and they made me never want to go back again there ! Very very cheap people and very rude ! Spent 139 dollars +taxes + 24 dollars tips = almost 174 dollars for NOTHING. !!! Horrible Horrible !!! I really regret having chosen this place while there are plenty of other choices out there !! Really I would never refer any of my friends or family there! Just avoid this place. in NY we have so many other choices !

The people here are rude. I called to confirm my appointmment and was told I would have to wait 20 minutes. When I said I would have to reschedule the idiot was like «whats the problem? Its only 20 minutes» as if my time is not valuable. They have outdated equipment. They cancel appointments at the last minute. Will never return or recommend. Oh and for the cavi liposuction they only do step 1 and not step 2. Biggest rip off. The technicians don’t even know that there is a 2 step process with the cave lipo

They have changed the name and moved a few blocks… a little weird because they never gave any notice. They called me to confirm an appointment and just so casually asked me if I knew they moved. Um… no. I kind of don’t live inside the office, so I how would have I known?
Anyway, I bought a laser package for a small area and have seen results. I like my technician, Anja. She’s very thorough and really sweet. The new space is in another office building that’s a little outdated, but very much Kings Highway esq. It might be a minute until they do something to spruce up the space, but the machines are the same ones from the last place.
It’s super affordable (read:cheap) and a few of my girlfriends come here too. I’d recommend because it’s ok, the people who work here for the most part are nice, it’s close to the Q and B train and it’s affordable.
