I wouldn’t even give this place one star but you have to to review it. These guys advertised a black mac«13 incase cover for the NEWSILVER macbook and sent me one for the OLDWHITE macbook and then refused to give me my money back. I tried to get it back through paypal after many attempts at calling and emailing but to no avail. DONOTBUYANYTHINGFROMTHISPLACE. They are scam artists and frauds. I just reported them to the better biz bureau as I am a PRPERSON. and i hate stuff like this. HUGEUGH!!!

I’m not surprised that this spot doesn’t exist anymore. I remember always doing a price comparison with computer spots in Chinatown and these guys were always expensive. If you want to save money just hit up Chinatown.

Dear Computer Software Plus, I just paid you slightly under $ 40 to find out whether my external back-up hard drive was damaged(a very expensive problem), or whether it was my computer or the power supply that was having problems(simple, easy to fix). It’s nothing that requires any special expertise — the drive seemed fine when I tried it, but had simply stopped showing up when I hooked it up to my computer(not an uncommon problem). You just needed to plug it into a different power supply. Maybe try hooking it up to a few different computers and make sure it shows up and works properly on them. I can do this myself, but I am really busy, so I asked you to do these tasks for me. I would have been happy to pay for this. –You said you’d call me the next day, and you still hadn’t three days later. That’s no big deal. We’re all busy. –When I went to your shop after 3 days to ask what you had found out, my bare drive had been taken out of its protective enclosure and was laying under a giant pile of electronics parts on the floor. That’s not acceptable. –Then the«technician» told me that when he plugged it in, it started smoking. My drive was not working with my computer, but it had never smoked before! I asked him to put it back together again so I could pick it up the next day. At that point, I just wanted my drive safely back in my possession and away from your people so I could find someone capable of treating it properly and doing real diagnostics on it. –When I returned to pick it up, a different person told me that my drive was so damaged that it wouldn’t work on any computer. We looked at the original technician’s report. No mention of smoking. No diagnosis of what was wrong. He said he didn’t know — he wasn’t the one who had worked on it, but he was certain it would be hundreds or thousands of dollars to fix. –I got home, plugged my drive into a few of my computers. It didn’t smoke. I played around with some settings on my main computer, and now it’s working fine again. I’m knowledgeable about computers, but this was all really basic stuff. It’s not smoking. It’s not damaged. Luckily my drive is fine. I’m grateful your people didn’t ruin it. I would like some of my $ 40 back. But when I told your employee that I felt ripped off, his only response was a dumb, «I don’t know what to say…» Well, I know what to say, but I’m not going to say it. I’m not a complaining type of person unless I think something positive will result from my complaints. And I don’t see anything positive happening here.
