By far the worst customer service I have ever experienced. When I came in to pick out glasses for my daughter I waited at least 5 minutes to be acknowledged because one sales woman was too busy on an inappropriate personal call on her cell phone and the other woman just completely ignored that I was standing at the counter. I was advised that I would be called when the glasses were ready to be picked up but over 2 weeks later I still had not gotten a call. Had I never called to check the status, I probably would have never been called. When I came to pick up the glasses, the woman just handed them to me without fitting them to my daughter’s face and just walked away. Didn’t ask if I was satisfied, didn’t even cared to ask if I had any questions or if I had any issues. I would never go there again.

Downgrading because they made me pay for a «fitting» but when my contacts came in no one did anything. No one showed me how to put them in or care for them(I am a first time user) and no one checked if they fit. So what did I pay for? 1800 Contacts is way cheaper and more helpful.

***NOSTARS****WARNING!!! The staff is the most unprofessional group I have EVER run across. They are racist, rude & ridiculous with ZERO customer service! Because of location and accepting my insurance, my children and I have been customers for many, many years. Anytime I request BASIC services I get the full run around and end up EXTREMELY frustrated. I will NEVER step foot into this facility and spend money again! I am more than happy to part ways and I warn anyone who wants to keep their blood pressure at a normal level to stay far away from this place!

I don’t even feel like wasting my time and energy describing how it’s taken multiple visits for over a MONTHAND A HALF just to get new contacts and lenses for my frames. My glasses still aren’t the right prescription and fit but i’m over this place. I’ll probably go to Warby Parker instead for a new pair at a much cheaper cost. As for my contacts, next time I’ll try New York Optical a block away(which also takes my insurance) and see if i have better luck.

AVOIDTHISPLACE if you want good customer service. It’s been 4 weeks now and I am still waiting on my glasses order. They initially quoted 4 days and that changed to 4 weeks. how can you ever explain that but these ppl are always full of long excuses. I have no option but to wait. I would suggest you avoid this place completely.

Mostly terrible customer service, but good prices and if you’re persistent and resist taking anything personally, it’s worth it if you just need lenses or glasses. If you need to feel pampered by your optician, don’t go to this one. It took me four months to get the lenses that I ordered, but in the meantime they kept giving me disposable lenses. Inconvenient, but at least they had me where I needed it. And when I was thinking about ordering glasses, I pointed out the four-moonth lapse, wondering if my glasses would be just as slow in arriving. The salesperson assured me that they needed to order them from another source to get me the quality lenses, but could guarantee a quick delivery this time. She told the truth, they got there in 3 days. Works for me, but I don’t need lots of customer service, just product.

not ONCe but TWICE I’ve stepped into the store and the Spanish sales people merely responded to my polite inquiry to get glasses, but then walked away from me and helped customers that came in behind me. They ignored me and were down right rude! Now is it that I’m a white blond woman? Is that I’m in my 40’s? what is this? I noticed they were smiling and helpful to everyone but me, in this case, the minority… The last straw was when a young man asked ot help me and the manager told him to help another couple who was already GETTING help from someone else! So…should I sue??? for un fair treatment? nahhh, just let the world know about them and hopefully they’ll go out of business! New York is a place of extreme diversity. Prejudiced people come from all sorts, doesn’t matter what color, culture, height, weight, age or whatever you are. It’s nasty and mean and hurts no matter who you are. I for one have experienced it when I was a child because I was Jewish. I treat everyone fairly and I expect the same treatment back. The world is nicest when equal and CLEAN. Be dirty and discriminatory and you contribute to the ugliest of worlds!

The«ALLSALESFINAL, NOREFUNDS» sign in the waiting area is a good indication at how great their customer service is. After waiting literally 3 hours for my 5 minute checkup, I was promptly told my insurance would not cover the exam. Very odd considering I called my insurance company twice before wandering into this place. After realizing we live in a country with a broken health care system, I quickly attempted to call my insurance company to no avail(closed on the weekends, how is that possible??). I had no other choice but to drop the $ 75 dollars for the checkup so I could then order new contacts. The prices they had for contacts were surprisingly high($ 40 a box) so I decided to walk away and order using 1800contacts. 5 minutes later(and much better customer service over the phone than in person) 1800contacts tell me the real prices are $ 30 per box. Long story short, this place rips you off. They get away with it because they cater to illegal immigrants who don’t have insurance. Nothing against illegals(hey we were all illegals at once time), but I walked away feeling cheated. Best to avoid this place!
