Sadly, the owner just told me he has stopped carrying vegan cheese(not necessarily permanently). He said that when he kept it on hand there wasn’t much call for it and it often got wasted. Now vegans, this is what you do to continue to have kickass vegan pizza: First you see if the Pauline & Sharon’s is open, cause it doesn’t keep regular hours. Yay! It’s open! Next, pick up a package of Daiya Mozzarella Shreds from Earth’s Basket across the street( ), and TJ will use it to make you his amazing veggie pie at the no-cheese price.

Last night, I ordered for the first time from this place. The veggie pizza and the kale salad were delicious. I did hear the owner’s attitude, but a serious chef believes in good food, and, hence, will forgive his slight rant. The ingredients in the pizza were fresh; the dough soft; the cheese as cheesy as it gets. The kale salad was juicy and memorable. My palate experienced pure delight. I recommend you try both.

The chef/owner is like an angry Bobcat Goldthwaite. Hard to predict when they might be open, or what menu items they do/don’t have on a given day. He seems like he is on the edge of flying off the handle. But he has a real passion for making good, delicious food. The pizza is really good. Not really traditional NY-style, but a charred crust on the thinner side that has a great crisp-chewy balance. The house pepperoni is an excellent recreation of what you think of when you think of pepperoni(and not a «cheffy» version), and really blends well with the pizza.

Absolutely awful. The pizza was overly meaty and not enough sauce, and the salad was a few unfresh strands of lettuce with burnt croutons smothered in awful dressing. It wasn’t good, and certainly not worth the $ 40. My suggestion: pass this horrible joint.

Great pizza. Had it delivered to South Bar. 25 bucks for a large pepperoni and sausage. It was enormous! 2 slices was more than enough for me.

Ive never eatin a more disgusting pizza w soggy ass shit wings. Spicy let me add. And to b honest i have never tasted such garbage in my life, i cant describe it because ive never had wings w a sauce that bad. And the pizza lmfao what crap it reminded me of flatbread dominoes. The sauce wasnt even pizza sauce it was a meat sauce. Would have tasted great on pasta not pizza, and a small 14″ pie and wings 21 $ next time ill order chinese. Lesson learned. never stray from luigis. People from brooklyn would know whats , what thats all i gotta say

Wow, I really need to update my review! Pauline and Sharon’s is my favorite local pizza place. Anytime I have company in town we MUST order P&S. I usually get the P & S which is pepperoni, sausage, onions and peppers. Its so so so good. All of their pizzas are super fresh, and usually have a basil/pesto drizzle on top or fresh basil pieces. They make their own everything — sauces, dough, sausage everything! Its so worth the price. I love the side of mushrooms and broccoli — great alternative to salad if you aren’t feeling it. I’ve also had the warm chapons — which is basically toasty garlicy bread served with dipping sauce. Its a bit salty for me, but you might like it. They’ve got slices at the counter, or order ahead whatever your hungry heart desires. Its super delish.

Just like the Soup Nazi from Seinfeld, the pizza is great but the service is horrible and rude.

Yes finally did go and try a slice of this! Had the veggie minus the cheese — super fresh sourdough(note for GF intolerants — I did have ain’t reaction from this so might have to sadly not make it a regular thing)! Generous toppings too and the secret sauce on top was pretty groovy. Price– yes a slice costs 3/3.50 but then most things now in South slope are overpriced. At least the quality here is good Service: yes the man at the counter doesn’t talk much or smile or converse but I guess ppl who run this place hold two jobs hence open past 5 so am willing to overlook this one.

This is my favorite pizza place. Every pizza I’ve tried there has been delicious and there isn’t any skimping. The people are real. Just don’t rely on their hours, they are open when they goddamn well please.

The 2nd star was earned purely because of the sourdough crust… after I had removed all of the disgusting topping, it actually was a pretty good piece of bread. We ordered a simple pepperoni pizza, and what arrived was both the greasiest and the driest pizza I’ve ever eaten. The pepperoni was poor quality ground sausage meat, sporadically thrown in chunks over the pizza, that had been burnt so badly it was ridiculously dry, crumbling apart, and tasted like charcoal. Equally, the cheese was just oozing grease, which surprisingly was doing nothing for the pepperoni. There was also barely any pizza sauce. I really wanted to like this place, and I don’t often write poor reviews… but this was pretty close to the worst I’ve had.

Absolutely the best thin crust pizza in BKLYN& perhaps any of the other boroughs period! The owner TJ is a pizza perfectionists whom occasionally will prepare other more exotic pies to savor, also available in slices but get there way before the nearing closing time or your favorite slices just might be gone, it’s that good; so to TJ& his friendly courteous pizza crew, my girlfriend Christina & I take her fedora off to you & salute to what is the epitome of what thin crust pizza with all the wonderful toppings should be. Thank you & always greatful to patronize this establishment…

So good! I called at 11:20pm for a delivered pizza. At 11:45 is here. It’s huge. It’s awesome. Great thin crust. Perfect pepperoni and meatball pie.

I love this places pizza, but their customer service is beyond bad. Only one guy in particular is really rude and comes off arrogant. Get a bigger place, hire some better front of the house staff, a little help in the kitchen and coming to this place would be a much better experience.

Yikes. After reading all the over-the-top, ALLCAPS reviews with many, many !!!, both on here and a certain food-delivery app, I was expecting the heavens to open up and trumpet-playing angels to descend into my front hall when the delivery guy arrived… Instead I got a flavorless, watery mess of a «hand-pulled mozzarella» pie featuring tomato sauce the color of congealed blood(and a taste to match!) and a lake in the middle where the cheese was supposed to be. [editor’s note: The cheese had migrated to one corner of the box when the delivery dude no doubt decided it would be a fine idea to carry the pizza sideways.] The plasma-like sauce overpowered everything-even the admittedly tasty crust-while still managing to taste like nothing at all. Just like the hand-pulled cheese. That all said, since it was my first experience with Pauline & Sharon’s, I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt and bestow 2 stars instead of 0. I cant imagine giving them a second chance, but never say never… right?

Great tasting pepperoni pizza. Went inside because I was waiting for triple Aaa and got hungry. Chose to get a slice and was very good. Only downside was the price of the slice.

Consistently amazing pizza. They make a great Caesar salad too. I’ve gotten full pies and slices from here more than a dozen times and it’s always a treat. Quality ingredients, great dough, cooked just right. Don’t stop at the slices, try the Blanquita, Puttanesca, or House Made Bacon and Cremificato Pizza for a truly divine eating experience.

Oh quit crying about the hours and attitude you babies! The pizza is huge, and fantastic! I cant eat dairy and even though I despise daiya which they use as a substitute, I still order the vegan pizza anyway because of the delicious fresh veggies and perfect crust! Dear owner/chef/manager whoever you are; you’re the best jerk in this whole damned neighborhood and I love your cramped awkward dark hole of a pizza oven. Keep opening whenever you want, however you want.

Pros: huge slices, loaded with toppings, green herb sauced that is topped off on all their slices. Cons: WTH is with there hours. they open at 5PM! Sometimes even later, like at 7:30pm. Sometimes I see them open at 12:00pm but then when i go back to try to get pizza at 12:30pm, THEYARECLOSED… these hours are so shady. Also, i wouldn’t recommended trying to eat inside, not much seating. It’s dark and cramped.
