Always friendly. Always have my laundry done perfectly in the time frame promised. Hours are decent to drop off before work and pick up after work. Lady who works the desk is absolutely lovely. Bring cash.

My clothes smell too flowery. And I was charged an extra $ 2 for cold wash/​dry low (makes clothes last longer). Maybe I’ll give EZ Laundry another shot. Yar.

I love this place. It’s pretty awesome. The girl that’s always there is sweet, and never less than super friendly. I drop off a massive amount of laundry everytime I go, and its folded so neatly and in categories — its quite the feat. I could NEVER do this much laundry as quickly as they do, and as cheaply as they do.
Massive props. If you live near here (or in my case, you don’t, and drive) its totally worth it. Fifth Ave is just way overpriced, and honestly, not as nice.
It closes at 9 but its mostly drop-​off anyway, and I can usually make it by then, and open weekends of course.

Eh. When reviewing a laundromat, I think you get to nitpick the details, because of the similarity of services between laundromats.
They close sort of early, which is annoying. They also don’t have scent/​dye free detergent. Nor do they accept credit cards.
My clothes came out clean, which is good, and I like the thick plastic bags they use (hey, they work for beer bottles too) but overall I think I’ll be going back to EZ Laundry, when they reopen.

since moving to new york, there are some things that i like and somethings that i don’t like. i am not going to get into it here, that’s what bars are for… BUT i will tell you about one thing i love.
drop. off. laundry.
this place is across the street from my apartment. and they are great. my clothes are clean and fresh and the folding… OH LORDY the folding. i have at least 5 times the drawer space versus doing my own laundry.
i drop off about once a week and it hasn’t ever cost me more than $ 10…even the time i did sheets and towels.
that’s a sign of awesome! so if you are living around 4th and 17th and need your undies washed, hit them up.

These guys need some very serious props. Ever since I started slowly outsourcing my life (grocery delivery? check. dog-​care pickup? check), these people have absolutely nailed it when it’s come to saving me time. Not only are they are meticulous with my laundry (read: they do it better than me), they’re friendly as hell, AND are inexpensive to boot. (Only reason they’re not five-​star because it’s hard to get same-​day service and they don’t do pick-​up/​delivery.) Plus they’re about five steps away from the train, so you can drop off and get the hell outta dodge.
