True story!
Just got my car back from Brian and Joe at Parkway 2 weeks ago.
They not only did the repairs in a professional, timely and courteous manner, but the car was delivered back to me looking brand new inside and out.
I know it’s a cliché but I told them I felt like I had friends for life.
Came home from work yesterday and was told that my newly gleaming car had literally been hit and run by a truck!
Shock and confusion wore off quickly as soon as I remembered that I had friends in the business.
I called Brian and Joe and car is already towed to their shop and insurance estimator will go directly to their shop and save me the inconvenience of taking time from work.
I already know how beautiful the car will look when they bring it back and how professional and easy the process will be.

Brian is the only one I trust in this industry, and this is the only place I would take my car. All my questions and concerns were quickly answered, and my car looks great. Seriously 5 stars isn’t enough

All I can say is WOW!
This past weekend a driver lost control coming down a hill I was traveling up and slid into my front bumper. Of course with Thanksgiving this week I was concerned about traveling with the car damaged. When I arrived Monday morning and explained the situation to the team at Parkway, the seized the moment to gain a lifetime customer and promoter.
I was concerned my request to complete the job so quickly would be at the expense of quality. That concern immediately subsided when I picked up the vehicle this afternoon. Boy do they do some great work! I would highly recommend this body shop to any friend or family member because of the experience I had. Easy to work with, friendly, responsive… I could go on and on.
If you find yourself in an unfortunate situation like I did, don’t hesitate to let the team at Parkway make it a little easier for you.

When I got into a car crash I was a wreck.
Luckily a friend of mine referred me to Parkway. I see why they won Best of NY.
Brian took care of everything. He biked over and picked up my car. Took care of everything quickly and painlessly. Now I’m back on the road.
I hope I never have to see that place again, but if I do need to get my car fixed it’s good to know I have a guy.

I just took my car in this morning and my experience was so great that I felt like I need to Unilocal about it. I’ve been to Parkway Collision several times now for several reasons and they have always provided nothing but the best service.
The staff is friendly and the work is clean. All of my repairs and cleanings have really held up the test of time driving around Brooklyn streets. Truth be told, I look like a target that sales people would prey on but I happen to know a lot about vehicles and despite my target-​like appearance, they gave me nothing but honest feedback and suggestions that would best suit my needs and pockets.
If it wasn’t for Unilocal bogus filtering process, the rating for this establishment would be much higher. Everyone who I’ve recommended this place to, like myself, has been more than satisfied!

Sigh. Only giving it two stars because the person actually working on the car did a great job, but of course he is the underpaid, overworked type anyway.
As per below, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE customer service and just plain despicable attitude. Brought a car in for a full spa experience via LivingSocial. There were dried leaves and tree sap on my car (it is springtime after all) and the hotheaded owner was complaining nonstop, asking where we park the car.
UH, why do you think I’m bringing the car in for a wash? If all I wanted was a quick one over automatic car wash, I’d take it to a $ 10 place, and not spend $ 100+ (with their posted retail value of $ 200). Assuming that they participate in the flash sale website deals in order to boost business, it’s obvious from the below reviews that they will instead lose considerable business opportunities because of the owner’s attitude. Not going back.

I had a detailing deal with them, besides the fact that they pushed my appointment back by months, which didn’t bother me that much, the guy did an ok job, but somehow misplaced couple of things I’ve had in the car, a charger, headset etc. After searching the car real well, and not finding it, I called to ask see if he knew where he had put it, or if he has them there and possibly forgot to put them back, well the guy flipped, he was pretty much telling me it’s impossible for him to do that (misplace them), and I should look again. Long story short I did, and didn’t find them, again.
Common courtesy would’ve been for him to at least try to look around his shop, and then decide how to go about it. Poor customer service as far as I’m concerned.
Not going back.

Took my car in for a detail and the guys here did a great job overall. Everyone was helpful and friendly which made everything fast and easy. I have not taken in my car in to be serviced by them yet, but I will in the future.

10/​2011-​Horrible Customer Service! The manager Brian was rude and only interested in collecting insurance deductibles. My friend went for a quote which was way overpriced and also had the same complaint. We both found out about this place through a livingsocial offer. No future business from neither of us.
11/​2011-​After posting my original comment I was contacted by the manager — Brian who offered an appology and agreed to accept my expired livingsocial voucher for a hand carwash. The job done on my vehicle was excellent and after a week the work is still evident so i had to modify my orginal posting. I appreciate when a business can apologize to its customer and make corrections.

I just had a detailing/​compounding at Parkway from a LivingSocial coupon. In all, I thought they did a good job and earned the «Yay! I’m a fan» designation. Though whoever set up the appointment with me over the phone was a little gruff, they were nice enough in person. I was told ahead of time that the process would take all day and that I couldn’t wait there, so I was prepared to find a coffee shop nearby to get some work done. When I got back to my RAV4, I was amazed to see that the exterior was incredibly shiny and smooth– it’s been a good 4 years since it’s looked that good! Dave showed me what he was able to buff out/​touch up, and I was impressed. The interior wasn’t perfect– there were some streaks here and there, some of the dog hair remained (though in all truth, every last bit is hard to remove without resorting to tweezers), and the gearshift head now feels sticky. But I’m really happy with the experience and would go back for a similar service.
Now if only they were easier to get to– it took a good 30 – 40 minutes in traffic from Clinton Hill…

In the world of car repair shops, where gruff owners/​workers tend to treat you like they’re doing you a favor, Parkway Auto is a breath of fresh air. I brought my car in for the LivingSocial special detail. I was welcomed immediately by Brian and introduced to David. David went over my car with me, examined it carefully, explained what he would be doing, and told me when the car should be ready.
My friend and I returned that afternoon. While we waited for the car, we spent some time in the office with Brian and Joe. Joe entertained us with stories of mutual friends and showed us his music memorabilia. The office is clean and comfortable, and Joe & Brian couldn’t have been nicer.
David brought the car out and it was nicer than the day I picked it up at the dealership. The car is only a year old, but it was dusty/​dirty on the inside and the black paint had a spot from some bird droppings that I didn’t wash off right away. David took care of everything; it’s obvious he takes pride in his work. He even took the time to tend to some scratches on my friend’s car.
I hope I never need Parkway Auto Collision because of an accident, but, if I do, I know my car will be in good hands and that I will have a pleasant experience. My friend was so impressed that she’s going to bring her car there.
I highly recommend this place.

Car: 2010 Nissan Versa
I got a Living Social coupon deal to have my car cleaned and detailed here. My coupon was only $ 37 which was a serious steal, as far as I was concerned. It was in part a gift from a friend, if I remember correctly.
I’ve had my car cleaned and detailed before because I have to park it outside year round. I have to say, hands down, this was the finest detail my car’s ever had, as well as excellent and friendly service. The car looks new (with the exception of my missing hubcap… silly Brooklyn teenagers…).
I see someone really had a bad experience and posted about it the day before this one. To speak to some of those concerns: I found the car did take most of the day — I dropped it off at 8:30am and it was ready at 4:30pm or so – but they told me in advance that it would take that long. Also, I think it helped that my coupon didn’t say «Express», at least not that I noticed.
Also, the seats were a little damp, but they’re pretty much SUPPOSED TO BE. They don’t sit there with a hairdryer on the seats. One of the guys there had wrapped my seat in plastic so I didn’t get soggy at all. I drove home with the windows down and it was dry in about a half hour.
All the surfaces are crystal clear and the windows are spotless, too. The tires look great and they even cleaned some hard-​to-​reach glass out of the glove compartment from the last time the car was broken into (I swear, we leave NOTHING visible, and they break the freaking windows anyway).
I think the best thing was that even though I had stupidly forgotten my coupon and the guys let me print one out, no problem. I met Joe, the owner on my way out and he was genuinely nice (which, I must say, is refreshing at any auto body shop). If (Heaven Forbid!) I were to get into an accident, I would definitely take my car back here.

The owner contacted me directly to address my dissatisfaction and offered to re-​do the job as well as provide my boyfriend with car service there and back. Very much appreciated,

Had a bumper touched up and they did a wonderful job, would not hesitate to recommend them.

I brought my car (YES! my wife crashed it again) and they are a fantastic repair shop. Smooth experience and very professional grade work. Rental picked me up there and dropped me off there.
ALSO NOTE: Thanks PARKWAY COLLISION for nice BEATLES pictures on the wall (god … enough with all the mechanics hanging calendars with women).

Let’s go Pros (-) & Cons (+)
–For starters, I was told my car would be ready in 9 days. 9 days turned into 30 (and thats with me applying pressure around the 25^th day.)
–They did not replace nearly half the parts that GEICO payed them to replace on my car and when I bought it to their attention, i got a lame excuse.
–Poor workmanship (they replaced the hood and afterwards, the hood and bumper has a huge gap. I can fit my whole hand between the hood and the bumper without releasing the hood latch). The radiator assembly is loose (they never replaced it, though it was included in the GEICO adjuster’s list.)
–When I finally got the call that my car was ready, it was returned with a broken key, the headlights were off centered (causing me to drive at night without being able to see any of the road) and the interior had grease marks on the console and headliner (which was not there when i had my car taken to them).
+They charged me half of my deducible (which many collision shops do if you speak to them prior to taking your car to them).
+They reimbursed me for my key that they damaged after I told them I refused to come out the pocket the $ 150+ dollars it would cost me to get another key.
+Though my experience with Parkway Auto was less than desirable, I will say that Brian did reach out to me after noticing my dissatisfaction with the work, in efforts to rectify my issues. I may have just been one of the few consumers that had a bad experience with Parkway as Brian seems to be a stand up, consumer friendly guy.

This place won Best of NY a few years back and it is easy to see why. The fact that they send a car service to pick you up makes life A LOT easier. I had a door panel replaced and a front bumper (yeah, I am a good driver). It came out to 1800 with tax. I told him that I had gotten estimates on the bumper elsewhere the lowest of which was 1250 and he quoted 1100 for it. I told him I didn’t get an estimate for the door panel (even though I had but I wanted to see if he came in lower without that) and he quoted 700 which was basically in line with what my other quote was which was $ 645. So my suggestion is get some quotes beforehand and let him know what prices you found!
I dropped the car off on Monday and it was supposed to be ready by Friday. It wasn’t ready until the following Monday but it looked great and they detailed it for me.
The other great thing about this place is that if you have a little less damage than I had, you can just email in pictures of the car for an estimate. Good service for those who don’t have a lot of time to deal with fixing their car (and who does)!
