Too be honest this experience has been, meh. We had the Court and the all-American with vege patties substitutes and a side of fries. We all love crispy fries, but these were crispy to the point of burnt. The patties had limited flavor, so literally two slices of tomatoes were enough to mask the whole all-American flavor and arugula was enough to kill the court burger. Really not my Choice for a burger joint… Im giving it 2 stars because of the place is quite nice! Quaint and charming. I just wish the vege food was more delectable.

I can’t say I love this place. This place is okay. I’ll go ahead and list them out to make things easier: Burgers — burgers are decent. Is it the best burger I’ve ever had? Nope. There are some hit and misses though. I’ve been here a few times and tried a few different ones — smokehouse, hangover, greek and court street. The greek and court street were pretty good, but the patties here are small. You won’t get full off of a burger so I recommend ordering a side. I don’t mind paying for an expensive burger if I get my money’s worth. I don’t feel this place is in that club. Sides — I hate it when burger places charge an arm and leg for a burger and don’t give sides. This is a perfect example of a place that does that. The burgers here are expensive for their size and it doesn’t come with sides. I don’t think it costs too much to give a few fries or a few onion rings. The sides here are pretty pricey and they are also hit and misses. Zucchini fries — nothing special and you don’t get a lot. Mac n cheese balls — pretty good. Fries pickles — these are good, but it’s expensive for a few slices of fried pickles. They also get super soggy so make sure you eat them first. Onion rings — just okay. The owner is here often and I think he’s friendly. He does a great job checking on the customers which is great customer service. I hope he takes this review as constructive criticism and I think this place can do well. It looks like it does well already albeit most of the customers that I’ve seen look like families that live in the neighborhood. The rest of the servers here are just okay. They take your order and that’s about it. Not too friendly, a little passive. Something I have to mention. If you use a gift certificate here, you won’t be allowed to use it to cover the tip portion of your check. That’s the stupidest thing ever. I don’t know what type of policy that is, but that is what turned me off about this place. The gift certificate should be treated as real money and should be allowed to be used as we want. We shouldn’t have to be forced to spend more money because we can’t use the gift certificate to cover our entire bill. The whole point of receiving or giving a gift certificate is to not have to pay anything out of pocket because it’s a gift! It’s obviously a management/owner issue and something involved with their internal accounting if gift certificates can’t be used to cover tips. That’s not the customers fault. It’s the owner’s responsibility to figure out how their servers get their tips. Don’t force it on the customer to figure out how to tip the servers if we have a gift certificate that more than covers the meal + tip + tax. You already have our money from whoever purchased the gift certificate so it’s not like we are cheating you out of anything by using the gift certificate to cover the tip portion of our meal. Plus tips are optional and not mandatory.

I rate them five stars because I am not a burger fan at all. I eat them like once or twice a year and that’s it but this burger was amazing! My friend got the one with a fried egg on top and I got a bison cheeseburger with bacon and sriracha sauce and we shared a order of fries. The burger was so tender and juicy. I would deff amity come back here again!

This place is great! Stumbled into this place with a friend after walking along Court St. for almost a half hour trying to find a good American(cuisine, not the people) place. I don’t know why, but I some reservations about going in. I thought it was some reverse psychology hipster trick to lure me into a vegetarian burger joint(these are the kind of times we’re living in people!). That aside, the owner re-assured me that they were about that beef! Except for some a few veggie options to pacify the I-wear-the-same-size-pants-as-my-lady dudes in the area. Anywho… I had the hot dogs and the fried mac and cheese balls. Thought the hot dogs wouldn’t be that filling, but since I’m an old man now, I was struggling after the second one. Overall the food was good. I’ll definitely be swinging by to try the burger, which my friend had — she said was«amazing!» Service was solid. Fills up quickly – at least it did the night we were there, so go early.

After years of walking by Moo Burger(and having received recommendations from friends to dine there!), I finally stopped in for a meal and was very satisfied with my meal. I ordered their lamb burger with goat cheese, cooked medium rare, and it was delicious. My fiancé ordered a burger with bacon and mentioned it was one of the best burgers he’s had in a while. I found their fries to be OK — maybe next time I’ll ask them to make them extra crispy. And the service was spot on — we were checked on by several people throughout our meal, which was a nice touch. Next time I’m in the mood for a burger, we’ll definitely be heading back to Moo Burger.

Incredible burgers! If you are looking for a juicy, perfectly cooked burger, and you’re in Brooklyn, this is the place to go. The 6 oz patties are all-natural, organic, and delicious. I had the All-American burger, which is the most«basic» choice, but is not basic at all! Piled high with the works(LTO) and served on a buttery, toasted bun, there is no way to go wrong with this choice. Add cheese to top it off the right way! The onion rings are lightly breaded, making them crispier than your average o-ring! They are served with a southwestern spicy aioli and adds the perfect spice to it! The zucchini fries are also great, just a little salty. They are served with a yogurt sauce that helps tone down the saltiness l — a great pairing! I went with my father for lunch, and the place was packed with families and kids. Great spot to take the whole family for a causal bite. They also offer a kids menu. So glad we tried this and hoping I make it back to BK to go again!

I can’t wait to go back. I went to Mooburger awhile ago and already am planning my next visit there. I went on a weeknight for dinner and the place was filled with people(that’s a good sign). Even with the abundance of people, we were seated very quickly. I chose to have the greek burger with a side of zucchini fries while my friends all chose their own burger with a side of moo fries and fried mac and cheese. The burgers were so good! It was cooked to perfection. The zucchini fries were also really good(kind of tasted like a fried pickle which I love!). The moo fries are regular french fries doused in meat, chili, and cheese which was very good as well. The fried mac and cheese was good but not great(I probably won’t order it again). Would I come here again? Definitely. The service was attentive, the burgers came swiftly and was so delicious. I can’t wait to come back.

Had the pulled pork burger, it was well done and as sloppy as it should be. A bit overpriced but thats what you get in a hipster neighborhood.

Pro: –family oriented –fun, lively, casual –great music –excellent burger– bison burger was top notch and the best sweet potato fries I’ve ever had It’s lit up very bright, many kids around, and casual. I went on a date and while it was very fun, it wasn’t exactly the dark, classy, and romantic environment I’d hoped for. I will be returning with friends!

One of my favorite places in Brooklyn. The staff is top Notch. Attentive, friendly, etc. Amazing burgers. Cooked to perfection. The fried pickles are the best. Great turkey burgers, salmon patties, whatever is your pleasure.

Moo burger is a pretty solid place if you’re looking for a variety of bread-burger-bread places. They got all the right things down pat. The fries? Good. The burger? Good. The milkshakes? AWESOME. Feast on the peanut butter and jelly with no remorse – though opt to share with one or two people, because it is HEAVY. I had the all-American because I wasn’t feeling very adventurous tonight, but I assure you all the other variations are delicious. Would I go here every night? Maybe not, but I’m sure to return again!

It is not unusual for a New Yorker to be craving a good burger occasionally. That was me yesterday night, and a burger joint like Moo Burger is exactly what I needed. We walked in to find ourselves in a rustic looking establishment, with distressed, wooden furniture and two long dining tables for bigger parties in the center of the room. Great music was also playing — soft rock, 80s jams and artists like Depeche Mode for the elder and Hoobastank for the cool people. We were handed with menus on clipping boards — very trendy, with a number of burger variations and sides. My fiancé went for the Court Street and I went for the All American, substituted with Bison meat, plus a side of sweet potato fries. He also ordered a beer and myself a homemade lemonade, which wasn’t too sweet — just the way I like it. Now for the burgers — we absolutely loved them. The Bison patties were cooked to our preferences and the pairings and sauces were on point. My only complaint was the sweet potato fries were pretty soggy. I would’ve liked them a bit crispier. The service was also noteworthy, with the owner/manager checking in on us to ensure everything was a-okay. I’d definitely pay another visit when I am craving a juicy fat burger again.

I’m not sure why people are so enamored with this restaurant. I decided to try this on a whim with a friend. She had the chicken sandwich while I decided to go straight for the burger. After a long wait to even place the order, we had an even longer wait for the service. I’ll admit the restaurant was somewhat busy but it wasn’t packed or unmanageable. When the food came it was just ok. The moo fries came with chili. That was pretty tasty. Another long wait to get the bill and we were out. There’s a problem when the beer is the best part of the burger joint. Needless to say with so many options in New York City I will not be back.

Really good burgers and dogs; hearty portions without being too big. This place even has a solid soft drink selection… well played. Honestly my only complaint about this place is the clientele. Well, one specific kind of clientele, and to be honest, the staff does the best they can with this particular menace. I am, of course, talking about unsupervised yuppie children. Look, I get that being a parent is hard and is exhausting. But, if you can’t keep little Addison, Aiden, Brailynn, Caleb, or Sawyer from running up and down the aisles then perhaps your little bundles of trust fund joy aren’t ready to mingle with the plebs just yet. Again, I can’t blame the staff for this problem. I have seen them handle this as tactfully as they can. But just know that when you come here you will likely engage in a decent game of «Dodge the Little One.»

I tried this place over the weekend and was happy with what I got. I had the hangover burger and my bf had the smoke house burger. Both were equally good. They were not as a big as I had expected though. We also had zucchini fries and they were interesting but good. This place really reminded me of a bareburger I have been to before. Bareburgers are not my favorite burger places which is why I gave this place a three. I would go back if I was in the neighborhood though.

Spacious seating, communal tables, open kitchen, and a great staff serving 17 varieties of burgers and 5 types of hot dogs. The Moo mystery juice is a refreshingly sweet pink lemonade. The Nova Scotia was salmon patty with a slice of smoked salmon. I wish it was pile of smoked salmon. Definitely should have read the menu more carefully. Mexican grilled corn was a special, definitely worth ordering. Grilled corn, rolled in cheese and spices, its wonderful. Slight heat, a mild cheese, sweetness and char melds together in your mouth. Good combination. The hangover was a great juicy burger, topped with bacon and sunny side egg. Even if you aren’t hungover, you will love this. Applewood smoked bacon, runny egg yolk work great on burgers. Even though I wasn’t craving a burger, I couldn’t get enough of this combo. My husband had to ask a couple times to get his burger back. Definitely a solid choice if in the neighborhood.

There are so many burger options on or around Court street that it’s ridiculous. I can say with some certainty that of them all, Moo Burger is… one of them. I had the Hangover burger — bison patty with bacon, cheddar and a fried egg. If there’s one thing to know about me, it’s that I can never resist egg on a burger. It was a very solid burger, though not literally. Between the egg and the tomatoes, it barely held together. But no matter, burgers are meant to be eaten with the hands! For sides, we went with fried mac and cheese balls, fried pickles, and zucchini fries. The fried pickles were actually spears instead of chips, which was an interesting change. I’m typically not a fan of frickles though. The mac and cheese balls were standard stuff. The zucchini fries were probably the best side. Everything came with different dipping sauces that I can’t recall right now, but we also mixed and matched so I’m not sure what came with what. They also have a good beer selection, which is always a plus. I had a good time.

Moo Burger NY Brooklyn Cobble Hill 1pm Thursday 15th January 2015 Four Stars Wooden floors and walls with industrial steel celing and lighting. There’s an open kitchen. They serve beer and wine. They serve water in a wine bottle. I had The Hangover Burger. It was well composed. The burger and all of the toppings fit exactly on the circumstance of the bun. The Bison was cooked medium which was close to the requested medium rare. The patty could have used a bit more salt. The Bacon was salty, crispy, and broken up to fit into the melty Swiss cheese. Shredded lettuce and thinly sliced tomato are signs of gourmet burger. The lettuce was a bit tired and the tomato was a bit mealy. The fried egg was nice and runny. The zucchini fries were thickly battered, well seasoned, and fairly good. The service was spot on. The price was reasonable. I was in and out for lunch in 35 minutes.
