The combination of fresh, organic, locally sourced ingredients and the wide variations of protein to choose from makes this hands down my favorite gourmet burger spot in NYC. The staff here is friendly, knowledgeable and the atmosphere is very inviting. Often I’ll grab a burger for lunch. My favorite is the«El Matador» which is a bison burger. It’s tastes very similar to beef except it’s a leaner meat so for those trying to eliminate as much fat from their diet as possible try the bison. It has queso fresco, pickled jalapeños and guacamole giving it a ton of flavor. Deff stick with it being cooked medium for the perfect amount of juiciness. The salads are also a hit for me. They’re slightly expensive for the portion size I feel but they are fresh and tasty. For a non-alcoholic beverage to those who love ginger, try the ginger Brew. It’s amazing. Wine and beer is served as well.

My favorite burger place in NYC(besides P.J. Clarke’s!). Always great service, great food. Decent prices for the excellent quality. Wine is good, too! The East Village one is fun, too.

Another bomb evening at this awesome place. This time I opted not for red meat, but for white. So I got the Hot House Chicken Sandwich with wasabi carrot slaw, hot honey and crispy lotus root all on a sprout bun. And I decided to try the sweet potato fries, which complimented my ‘wich perfectly. My brother had the cubby fare– his choice of chicken tenders(massive pieces), fries and apples. He thoroughly enjoyed his meal as well. Second time around and I was not disappointed. This is feeling like true love. I’m sure BB and I will have many future adventures. OH, and don’t forget to ask for the smokesauce(barbeque sauce). And a plus, my server Yarie was as super sweet as last time. I think being«bears» at this place is just impossible. Get it? Anyway… As always, Happy Eating.- Marie-Madeleine Gnagniko.

I ordered my Burger meal like I do every other pay day Friday. The person prepared my meal incorrectly. I immediately contacted management they took too long to offer me a solution. My lunch break was over and Bareburger management Gersha didn’t seem to care about my complaint and the employees made me feel like I had no right to complaint. I only get 30 minutes for lunch! I wasted $ 14.00. I ordered my burger with sauce on the side and sauce was not provided to me. I took 2 bites out of a VERYDRYBAREBURGER!!! AWFUL!!! I can buy cheaper organic burger across the street. Brooklyn Heights has other better organic burger establishments. Go elsewhere! I sent an email to corporate and after 1 full week I still have not heard a response back.

Good brunch option in the neighborhood, even if you’re not a fan of mini-chains. BF and I stopped in yesterday. We were ignored by Chez Moi, and encountered a ridiculous wait at Henry’s Public. We entered on a whim but were seated quickly, and ordered off a dedicated brunch menu(who knew?) and really enjoyed our dishes. Mine was fried chicken over French toast with caramelized pecans. His was something called the Hungry bear(or something like it) — 3 eggs, sausages, sweet potato fries and French toast. No, this is not diet friendly food — although, the menus actually list calorie counts. Brunch prices are reasonable, considering most come with coffee/tea and juice. Come hungry.

Everything was great! Burger, staff etc. Just one comment Please get rid of the TV. Why do people need to watch cartoons while they’re eating?

I love this place. Wonderful service, friendly staff. I usually eat here at least once a week. It’s great because I’m paleo and here I can more or less stick to my diet without feeling like it. Their burgers are delicious, high quality and very interesting. I love the duck and wild boar burgers. They used to have ostrich burgers which I also loved, and I wish they would bring it back. I guess there just aren’t enough ostriches out there. The only reason I’m giving this place 4 stars is their bacon. It is never crispy, not even when I ask them to make it extra crispy. I have to fight to bite through my burger. I dream of a bareburger than I can bite cleanly through with a satisfying crunch. Otherwise, it’s delicious.

This place menu went down a bit and brunch on weekends now is not as full as before and no drinks included, only coffee.

I’ve had good experiences at every Bareburger I’ve been to so far. If you’re vegetarian and don’t like too much real and wheaty bread(like me), get the sweet potato and wild rice patty on a hemp milk bun. Delicious! Especially with manchego cheese, guac, and the habanero mayo! My boyfriend had the elk burger with a brioche patty and the jelly. He loved it. Our waiter forgot to put in our fries. By the time we got them, I had already finished my food and my boyfriend burger was cold. Also, weirdly enough, they charge $ 9 for a beer. A regular pint of beer. Didn’t expect that.

Their supreme burger is sooo good! The service is always great and above average! &&&&&&The flourless chocolate cake is to die for. If there is one thing you must get here it is the cake!

My first time there and the service was excellent. Server explained the menu concept. You can pick you choice of meat: bison, beef,… sides: sweet potato fries, French fries, onion rings, . Drinks: beer, wine, cocktails It’s nice and comfortable, it’s great to finally find a place you aren’t rushed to leave. My grind house was delicious. The relish and paprika mayo was a great combo. I would highly recommend this place. Can’t wait to come back and try another organic burger.

Yum! I love all the options… even though I always order the same thing! The staff is very nice and accommodating. They never rush you out or push any specials or deserts. The bottles of wine are a great and inexpensive option as well. One of the reasons I only give 4 stars is because the tables are extremely close together and this restaurant is very family-friendly, so it’s not always pleasant to be disturbed by small children while I am eating. My last visit I had to keep asking the parents of a young boy to have him stop putting his feet on me and kicking me. While this is not necessarily the restaurant’s fault, it could be helped by spacing the tables further apart. One tip: this is a GREAT family spot and suitable for taking young children even later at night, so maybe avoid selecting as a date spot!

Burger was great! I got the Buckaroo and loved all the blood! Such a juicy delight :) My BF created his own and got a bison burger with alfalfa sprouts which I think were a bit much but he loved them. We shared a basket of fries & rings and that was enough for us! We kind of had trouble finishing it once the burgers came. Also, we ordered drinks. I got the margarita and he got the manhattan. Meh. Wasnt the best libation. I’d skip the drinks and just bite into a burger!

Did this place get better or what? I wasn’t in the mood for a burger but I did have the fried chicken sandwich which was amazing. My friend had the fire quacker burger which was also very good. Everything was fresh, and service was great as well! I’ll definitely be back soon.

I met up with my cousin in New York whom I haven’t seen since I was a toddler, and we were so excited to see each other. We we both searching around Brooklyn for a place to eat, and we stumbled across this place. Neither of us had been or heard of it before, but we had a very helpful waiter who explained to us the concept of this restaurant. It’s a burger joint that specializes in using all natural and organic ingredient for everything, from the meat, to the toppings, to the condiments; it’s a chain restaurant that primarily operates in the northern part of the US. My cousin and I were looking through the menu and saw some pretty interesting choices. Ultimately I decided on the«Fire Quacker» which was a duck burger and My Cousin got the the«Social» which was a turkey Burger; It was my first time eating a duck burger and his first time eating a turkey burger. I must say that I quite enjoyed my meal here, and I believe my cousin did too. The burger itself as well as the fries and ketchup all tasted«different» and to be honest«weird», but it was a good kind of weird, like the«I’m not used to eating organic food, is this what my food is supposed to taste like weird» haha. Overall, this location had good food and friendly service. The next time I find myself up north I I will definitely consider getting another delicious organic burger from BareBurger.

First time eater and I loved it. Great customer service and even better food. A bit pricy to what I would normally pay for a burger but it’s well worth it. Had the elk burger and it’s not intensely filling but has rich flavors that compliment well with one another.

I recently started working in the neighborhood and wasn’t completely familiar with the eateries in walking distance. So after a long morning of orientation some of the other new teachers and myself were walking along Court St. looking for a place to grab some grub. This particular area is booming with options but we happened to stumble across Bareburger. I’d read some very positive reviews written by some of my Unilocal friends so I knew my colleagues and I were in for a treat. This location has comfortable outside seating(my favorite during summer) as well as a fairly large indoor space as well. We of course decided to sit outside. The service was super knowledgable and friendly. They have a wide menu full of salads, sandwiches, burgers, and sides to share. I had the Buttermilk Buffalo. Delicious fried chicken with buffalo sauce and blue cheese. What more could a girl ask for? My sandwich was absolutely delicious! The kind of delicious that you keep thinking about days after. I’m not sure what all the others in my group ordered but I know one girl ordered The Standard. Everyone enjoyed what they had. We all left satisfied and happy. I’ll definitely be recommending Bareburger to others especially as a lunch option.

Unfortunately this place is kind of falling apart. –Service is confused and doesn’t know or care about their jobs, and it shows. –Food was sloppily thrown together and not very good. –Seating is uncomfortably disorganized. Maybe this place has seen better days, maybe the management is in the process of changing, but after hearing great things from others about Bareburger I felt I needed to try it and was completely let down from beginning to end. I’ll stick to Shakeshack a few blocks away.

Organic burgers?! Don’t mind if I do! Exotic meats like elk and bison? Yes please! The supreme burger was gigando, so big you can’t even bite into it, this is the kind of burger where you need a knife and fork. Serious business yo. Their sweet potato and onion ring combo’s not bad, you get a decent portion. Everything tastes fresh and homemade. Definitely recommend sharing because their portions are big especially the burgers. Another note, the burgers taste healthier here(they’re not as greasy or juicy like most places) so they aren’t sinful at all. Worth checking out. By the way, elk tastes like beef.

It pains me to give Bareburger 3 stars. Everything was delicious, and I have no problem paying $ 12 for the California burger, the ginberry cocktail was spot on, and the pickle chips were awesome. Timing though: awful. In lieu of a side of fries, I got fried pickles off the snack section. When taking my order, the girl asked if I wanted them first or with my meal. As I was forgoing fries, I wanted them with my meal. The burger came out relatively quickly, but the pickles came out 10 minutes later… ugh. I guess next time I’ll ask for them to arrive first.

Bön burger et super bonne salade! Tout est frais et de bonne qualité. L’endroit est vraiment sympa surtout si il fait beau, les fenêtres s’ouvrent telles de vraies portes de garage. Serveurs toujours très sympas.
