Awesome spot in the neighborhood! I’ve tried every coffee shop in the neighborhood as they’ve popped up over the past decade & this place makes the best latte. Patties are delicious too! Can’t wait to come back & try more food.

The food is excellent! The service was above and beyind, the young man beyond the counter was patient, friendly and professional. He suggested their special and so we had the parmesan fish salad. It was excellent! We also ordered the veggie quiche and hot bread with haitian rum butter. My daughters had their watermelon juce which was sweet with a hint of lime. All the things we tried were excellent. Originally came here with my family because we won a gift certificate but will definitely be back for their great food and quality service.

My first experience with Haitian cuisine was a positive one thanks to Kafe Louverture. Great coffee and food, and a kind staff.

Their pastries are addictive. Probably the best croissants I have eaten in New York. Wonderful place!

I love everything about this place, especially the fact that it’s only a few blocks away from me. The fish patties are the best, the service is amazing, and I love the hot chocolate. Will have to try out some of the pastries, since I’ve heard great things about theem.

A great café spot in Bed-Stuy! It’s quaint and perfect for grab and go coffee, sitting for a quick read or doing a little bit of work on the laptop. The chai latte and fish patty are excellent! The Haitian hospitality is plus, too.

This little café not only offers amazing food, but a wonderful environment, with a warm, welcoming staff. This place was so great that I attempted to return a few hours after trying it for the first time in order to enjoy a second meal there. If I lived closer I would return everyday.

We happened by this delightful coffee shop early Saturday morning and were greeted by the affable owner who guaranteed us the best coffee in Bed Sty! We weren’t disappointed! Breakfast sandwich was terrific, we also tried the bread pudding which was to die for! Can’t wait for the outside area and live music. Great addition to the neighborhood!

Wonderful customer service. Support small business! I had walked by this business a couple of times and hadn’t had a chance to stop in. But when we did, we were greeted with excellent customer service, wonderful samples, and great smiles. Definitely will be back!

Go to Kafe Louverture right now! Seriously, you will be awed. Beautiful spot in Bed Stuy, delicious meat patties and ginger tea. Artwork from artists in Haiti and yummy Haitian coffee. Also, the owners are super sweet!

Wonderful wonderful addition to Bed Stuy. Tiny, great vibe, super-friendly owner who’s from the neighborhood, and terrific food that’s obviously a labor of love. We tried the carrot cake — seriously the best I’ve ever had — and the equally delicious fish pastry. So happy to be living here with neighbors like this!

Damned good coffee! And the friendliest service. Haven’t tried any of the pastries yet, but after reading about the handmade Haitian chocolate, I’m anxious to try the hot cocoa they make with it there.

Excellent coffee shop. Very bright and clean and just a really welcoming environment. I really enjoyed the coffee. It was just so tasty. It has some nice music playing and you can sit back listen to the music get some great snacks. I really enjoyed the quiche and I also thought the deserts looked splendid. I will definitely be back again for some coffee and other treats.

I don’t give out 5-star reviews lightly. They are few and far between. But the first time I walked into Louverture, just two nights ago, I instantly felt the warmness and the love radiating from it. The café literally called to me, like the white light calling the protagonist in all those movies, except this light had fantastic tea selections, great(sounding) coffees, and delightful pastries(even vegan ones) and foods, most of which are derived from Haitian culture — like Soup JouMou. While I didn’t buy anything right then(had just picked up some take-out) I promised them I’d return(!), which I thankfully just did. I opted for the Hurricane Island tea, coincidentally my baristas fave, and the Almond Chocolate Croissant. Both were spectacular, and I’m not a fan of chocolate in my pastries. The atmosphere was still on point, nice and relaxing, and open. The place isn’t big, but does have outdoor seating which appears to be very relaxing. They also have nice music playing, as well as the TV at times. Even nicer are all the artistic pieces they have up. I met one of the owners on both visits and he enthusiastically was greeting customers — of which there were a bunch — as they stepped in and out. The staff is also well trained and nice and well deserving of tips. Also, free wi-fi. I usually prefer to have breakfast at home, but this may be my new spot!
