My 10 year old was beside himself. The 3DS would no longer charge. I looked online and the solution was to take it apart (with a very tiny screwdriver) and use a soldering iron (which we also don’t have). The only place near us that we knew handled this kind of repairs had Unilocal reviews that did not make me feel confident. So I made a trek to Cyber on U to see if they could help.
Max let me know that this was out of his typical realm but he would take it apart and see if it was something he could fix (he has the right tools). While helping us, an elderly woman came to pick up a package (they also offer UPS Access Point pickup/​drop off) and she was concerned about getting down the steps by herself much less with her package. Not a problem! He personally escorted her down (and the steps were also clear of snow and ice — #Jonas2016 was just a few days earlier). Max let me know he would check out the unit and get back to me. Less than 24 hours later I received a call — the 3DS was fixed!
Max is a part of the old world Brooklyn I often forget still exists. He went into business because he enjoys what he does, is able to help people in need and make a living charging a fair price. I could have jumped on the Unilocal deal, but he earned every penny he charged for his work. He did not just fix my sons game. He gave me my sanity back with kindness and class.

I got there late, had to take the LIRR to the Q train and then walk several blocks. It took a little out of me but when Ii got there I was seen right away. I got an estimated time of 10 minutes and honestly it felt like 5. Conversation, no ridiculous up-​sale and no weird smells. I am definitely going back because the work is great. Came here to get my phone battery replaced for my iPhone 4S and had a coupon. The gentleman also replaced the back of the phone, which was cracked, and put a new plexiglass screen protector on. U must admit that I walked away with more than I came in for, but the service was fast and efficient. Phone isn’t dying as fast as it was before, I’m a happy camper! I paid $ 130+tax, which was fine because my phone actually works, and it was done on the spot. Hopefully I won’t need to have my phone fixed again, but if I do I know where to go.

Bought a used iPhone 5s from my friend for cheap because it had a cracked screen. I decided to bring it over to Cyber on U and the owner Max fixed it in 15 minutes. He was professional and the price was reasonable compared to the other screen repair places I checked. I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking to repair a cracked iPhone/​Samsung screen!

One too many picklebacks later and BAM!!! GOODBYE iPhone 5S screen! :(I stumbled upon this place by accident while browsing Groupon during a long commute. Prices are GREAT! $ 65 on the site and it was one of those 20% off days so the total came out to be $ 52 (not including the $ 5.70 tax they charge when you get here). Regardless, it was still cheap compared to the rates other places charged.
The process of replacing my screen took about 20 minutes or less. I liked that the guy fixes it right in front of you so you know he’s not doing anything shady to your phone. People have told me horror stories about screws being stolen, parts being stolen, etc etc! He was not only quick, but honest in answering all my questions that were both related and unrelated to my shattered screen. He also replaces iPhone 6 screens too! I believe he said it was around $ 130, and if you check in on Unilocal,there’s a $ 10 off coupon.
It’s a bit of a journey for me to get here, but I would def come back if I had any other phone troubles. Make sure to call ahead of time to see if he has the parts you need so you don’t have to wait.

After two Apple «geniuses» insisted the problem with my iPhone 5 was not the battery, Max proved that it WAS the battery, and replaced it with a good one warrantied for a year. He also diagnosed a laptop wifi problem as a Win issue to be fixed by reinstalling Windows. Did that today, Max was right!
I have 30+ years in IT, and though I am far from up to date, I have great tech bullshit radar, and you won’t find any of it here (but do watch out for Apple).
Last but not least — great prices, and Max is a really nice guy!

I was just about to throw out my Samsung phone after having trouble hearing people on the line. I brought my phone in to Cyber on U on Sunday and Max said he could fix it. I was amazed. He said it would take 2 – 3 days for the part to come in. He said he would call me when the part came in and it would take 30 minutes to replace the part. I left with my phone since I was still able to speak to people on the speaker phone. Thursday, I got the call. I came in and he replaced the part in literally 15 minutes! Price was great and I was so happy not to shell out money to replace the phone. Very professional, excellent service, and he keeps his word. I highly recommend this business.

Bought the groupon to fix my
iPhone 5s screen. Had two cracks. Brought it in and the wonderful man working there informed me my phone wasn’t broken. It was just the glass screen protector. Awesome guy. Honest place. He could have just told me it was broken and made the money off of me. He didn’t. I highly recommend them.

I dropped my phone in February and the screen shattered. I was hesitant of replacing my screen because my sister replaced her screen once and the people who did the service for her didn’t do a proper job and her phone stopped working. However a good friend of mine raved about Cyber on U and I decided to go. The service was excellent. He replaced my screen and I was in and out of their in 15 minutes. It was been a few weeks and their are no problems with my phone. I am very satisfied with the service I received. They gave me a reasonable price, even cheaper than I was offered previously. I highly recommend going to Cyber on U for your electronic repair needs.

My daughter cracked her iPhone 5s screen and we searched to find a place that can fix it at a reasonable price. I searched on Unilocal and found Cyber on U which had favorable reviews. I called on a Sunday and spoke to Max who told me that he can fix it in less than 20 minutes for $ 75.00. He knocked off $ 10 if I checked in on Unilocal.
Max fixed the iPhone in less than 20 minutes and it looks brand new. Great service and customer service. I highly recommend Cyber on U if you need your phone fixed.

My son needed his IPhone 6 plus screened fixed. He found Cyber U on Unilocal.He read the reviews then called Cyber U. Very reasonable pricing since all the other places he called were charging a lot more and their reviews were not so great. We were in and out in 25 minutes. Max did a great job, my sons phone is as good as new.

Excellent customer service. I got screwed my a competitor next door and they fixed all the existing issues for an amazingly low price! Highly recommended.

What an amazing place!
Max greeted me as soon as I walked in and seeing my panicked look, clenching my destroyed iPhone 6 he reassured me he could recover it. It had been pierced through the screen by a chair leg. In less than 25 minutes not only did I have a new screen but a new battery. Max showed me that there was physical damage to the battery which could affect its life and my safety. He had a great deal on an Otterbox case and tempered glass screen protector too, $ 30 for the set.
