We perform contact lens evaluations for all types of contact lenses, including all soft disposable and gas permeable lenses.

We carry a variety of frames such as, Alain Mikli, Salt, Oliver peoples, Paul Smith, Salvadore Ferragamo, Flexon, Calvin Klein, Michael Kors, Ray Ban, Soda Monster and many more designer brands.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

The owner of Community Optical, Alex, has received his License in Ophthalmic Dispensing in 2001. He has been practicing in the New York metro area for over a decade in big retail optical chains.

In 2011 he accomplished his dream and opened his own optical store at the heart of Carroll Gardens. By opening his own optical store, he is able to give each customer individual attention from the moment they enter the store until they pick up their new eyeglasses or contact lenses. We are not an ordinary optical store. Our customers are our community, our pride.
