Description

Specialties

Brooklyn Psychotherapy is a group of highly trained and devoted therapists who provide psychotherapy to adults, couples, children, and families.

We treat adults with a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, addiction, OCD, trauma, and gender issues. We understand how difficult life can be and we try to provide you with a helping guide to learn how to navigate it.

In our work with couples, we help partners in trouble, who are bogged down with communication issues and pain return to the love and connection that first brought them together.

We show children with behavior problems, emotional issues, and learning difficulties how to use self control, while identifying and expressing themselves in healthy ways. Parents and families need tools to cope with their children’s difficulties as well as techniques to provide the a healthy, structured environment for their whole family.

Insurances accepted are Medicaid/Medicare, Metroplus, Healthplus/Amerigroup, Healthfirst, Fideliscare, Wellcare, Wellpoint, Multiplan, Magnacare, United Behavioral Health, Cigna, and Aetna, as well as other plans, including BCBS out of network.

We see patients with financial need on a sliding scale.
