We happened upon this place as it is one of the few brunch places in park slope that is open past 3pm — and I’m so glad we did! Cocktails were all very creative and served in generous portions, and the food was unique and delicious. One star deducted because I would’ve liked to see a vegetarian dish on the brunch menu. There are a lot of varied tasty greens listed as side dishes, but it would be great if they were included with some brunch dishes. Besides that, I’d highly recommend the roasted brussel sprouts, pork butt with poached egg, and especially the«Kale Slaw» — a kale salad with pine nuts that is delicious. They should offer a full-size portion of the kale slaw and plop a poached egg on it for a brunch dish. The bloody marys were superb as well. I will definitely be back to sample the cheese plates and other dinner menu offerings. Really solid place.

The drinks, the customer service 100% on point, they go out of their way and i love the vibe and still love the vibe with some changes that have happened. However it is my #1 goto for tasty beverages and everything else. I simply love it !

Perfect place. Awesome dinner and drinks. Great environment. They need some stronger IPAs on the list but that’s it. Can’t wait to go back and try the rest of the menu. Ali is very good at his job, I’ll be seeing you guys soon!

My husband and I were looking for a late night spot to grab some food have enjoy some good drinks… Boy did we find the right spot! Blueprint is a small and cozy establishment, the dim lighting and warm glow of the tea light candles fill the bar/lounge with an inviting feel of relaxation and comfort. As you walk into the bar, you notice how clean and organized the space is, small tables and bar stools against the wall, handful of tables for group gatherings towards the back. We sat at the bar, and Andy introduced himself to us, a very humble and honest bartender! He made some recommendations for drinks, seeing it was our first time there, and they were all«knock your socks off» kinda drinks. Andy takes his time to hand craft each drinks, and puts on quite a show. The drinks were amazing, we had quite a few drinks that night. Everyone of them were delicious … Not your everyday kind of drinks that you would get at any other bars, these are made from fresh ingredients and each hand crafted. If you are looking for a bar to hit and grab some hot wings, big greasy burger and fires … This is NOT the place! The food hear is classy, modern, fresh, light and small portions, and delicious. We had the shrimp cocktail, again, not your typical bar food. We also had the baby octopus … Heaven! It’s served over a bed of roasted potatoes and green salsa like dressing. We also tried the duck pot pie and the duck club. Everything is small portions packed with BIG flavors. Most of the food is prepared not too far from the bar in a small«kitchen», a small oven, and counter top space is used for preparation. Meats and cheeses are cut/slices and assembled right near the bar for serving. There are no tv’s in this place, which i love, it gives an intimate feeling with who your with, to have a conversation and catch up! There’s music in the background, which does not over power the small setting. You can still talk and hear on an other. Your not fighting over loud noises. The one thing I really did not care for, the bathrooms were kind of sloppy. It’s not the employees fault, it’s people who used it and didn’t care to clean up there own mess. The employees could pay more attention to the restrooms tho. We will definitely be going there again soon, we loved each drinks we had, the food is delicious and all fresh, and the bartenders are very humble and welcoming.

Came here on New Years Eve 2015 with my boyfriend. Loved the ambiance. Small & cozy with just the right amount of lighting. Ok drinks — I had The Understudy & it was deliciousssss !!! So refreshing. My boyfriend had 2 different drinks — 1 was called something Maria or Mary? It was a spicy drink which is always his go to & he seemed to really enjoy it. His second drink wAs called Don Julius? Dont remember the name but it had egg whites & cinnamon & that shit was delicious !! Food — we had the brussel sprout & bacon pizza AMAZING. Absolutely delicious I cannot wait to go back to have it again. We also had the octopus which came with fresh salsa verde & delicious potatoes. Last we had the pork butt sliders. They were a little spicy & I wasnt expecting that but it was so so good. 5 stars — highly recommended

Believe it ppl, this is one of the best bars in Brooklyn. If you are a lover of well mixed drinks then look no further, cuz you have found that place. The size of the bar is pretty much that of every other bar and restaurant on 5th Ave; if ur not familiar, this means it’s not terribly big. This place does get a bit crowed relatively early on the weekends, let’s say around seven or eight-ish but there is also a nice outdoor space, which I usually opt for in the warmer months. On every occasion the staff has been great, personality wise but twice I didn’t get something I ordered so there’s some lack in efficiency. This place is known for its signature cocktails but you will get a well made drink of your choice, that isn’t on the menu list, if you so choose. I have tried several of their signature drinks but I wasnt a fan of all of them, a few just tasted like an experiment gone terribly terribly wrong. I didn’t care for the Smoky Mary too much but if ur sitting at the bar you can just have the«mixologist» customize one just for you ;). Mind you this is a cocktail bar so don’t expect too much when it comes to vast food selections. But if you are going to have food you MUST and I mean MUST have the Duck club!!! Ok, so it’s $ 18 for a sandwich served with«potatoe chips» but it’s hands down the best sandwich I have ever tasted… Seriously, no joke. It’s kinda what keeps me coming back. Also the house cured fish plate($ 16) is kinda orgasmic ;). Once you come here, you’ll probably be back. Give it a try and you’ll see what I mean.

Enjoyed cocktails with a friend on Friday night. No reservation needed for happy hour is awesome. A truly elevated cocktail bar with a speakeasy vibe and selections for every budget. I appreciate well thought out cocktails and menu items, elegant, generous pours and attentive, professional service. Happy hour specials save you a few bucks on drinks that are so yummy and well made, they’re worth they’re weight in gold. Nibble on small plates, brussel sprouts(charred and smokey) hummus, olives, fig bruschetta… Elegant variety in an adult space where the music plays as a quiet backdrop to your conversation… Booths in the back, full bar, signature cocktails, great food and an outdoor space… Thoughtful, un-rushed, premium… Insert positive adjective here. They do everything right.

Cocktails that are not obviously thought out very well, I don’t think the staff have half a clue when it comes to making something that works. There are better venues in the local area who mix great cocktails that actually work.

Been here three times– Nice atmosphere and pretty good cocktails– I enjoyed their mezcal cocktail, although their signature martini was not something I’d recommend. Also, as a server myself, when I have a server who is semi-rude(and not in a fun way) it really brings my experience down. Last time I was there I had one of those. She put a negative vibe into the evening and took this from 4 stars to 3 stars. Earlier times I had been there, service was fine but it was about a year or two ago.

I came to blueprint last night with three friends. When we got there, it was pretty crowded. Most of the tables are two toppers. They don’t have many big tables. We were told the wait would be about 20 minutes. We ordered some drinks while we waited. I had the understudy cocktail, which was great. Our table was ready in about 20 minutes. We sat in the back in a booth with a marble table. It was nice, but tight for four people. When we sat down, we ordered a bottle of Bordeaux. For food, we had the chef’s plate, which was three meats and three cheeses selected by the chef, kale slaw, and bread. It was delicious. We also ordered the bacon and Brussel sprout pizza. That was crispy and delicious. We had the baby octopus and Brussel sprouts as well. All the food was delicious. The service was pretty good. Overall, I loved this restaurant and would definitely return!

I have found it! Old fashioned made to perfection! Manhattan are just as good, not because it’s specially garnish w rosemary, aside from that i just dislike cherry, but it’s so perfectly balanced! Bartenders are very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive! oh and I love couple of them wear suspenders while mixing drinks! totally adorable!

Truly some of the most fantastic cocktails I’ve had — ever! And for NYC prices they weren’t even particularly expensive($ 11-$ 13). The space is small but we grabbed two stools at the bar and tried 4 cocktails. Favorites were the fantastic smokey margarita(made with chipotle tequila) And the incredible fizz made with vodka and earl grey. A whipped egg white gave this drink the most perfect frothy texture. The bartenders were attentive and friendly and seemed to take genuine pride in their drinks. Will absolutely return!

Drinks are pricey, but nothing beyond the expected Brooklyn prices. Got an old fashioned and an octopus salad which was yummy but definitely smaller than expected. A big shootout to the nameless bar tender who heard me hiccuping all the way across the bar and gave me a lemon with what I think was paprika… cured my hiccups instantly.

For a street with little activity on a Saturday evening, this place was buzzing. Oozing vintage charm with its wood furnishings, delicate wall etchings, and candle-lit bar area, Blueprint is the perfect place for intimate conversation with dates, significant others, and/or friends. There are a few high top tables suitable for two people along the wall in front of the bar, a couple booths in the back, and minimal seating in the small outdoor area, but the bar is clearly the place to be. We grabbed two open seats at the bar, close enough to witness the cocktail-making action and smell the fresh and beautifully arranged ingredients in front of us. It’s also an added bonus being close enough to the bartender to extract useful comments about several of the drinks I was deciding between. I ultimately went with the not-so-boozy, gingery Perry’s Pimm’s Cup. It’s a heavily iced drink and very refreshing. Though I did want something a touch stronger, it was a fine drink for a summer evening. As with all cocktail bars, you also have the option to give up all control and let your bartender concoct a drink for you on the spot based on your personal preferences or maybe based on theirs. I’ve never done so but should one of these days. Next time.

Strangely I don’t really like this place in the winter… There is a very different vibe in the inside part than the back garden, which is very cute, friendly and just lovely to be in. The staff has always been cordial and their wine options are not extensive, but really good. I have never been disappointed by the food, but here again, I am not sure if they change their menu in the winter, which I have never tried. They also have fun cocktails, and all the ones I have tried are delicious. If you are looking for a place on the quiet side in the neighborhood, this is definitely it. It is much less pretentious than AlDiLa and such.

Have been here multiple times and would definitely recommend it. If you don’t see a cocktail that intrigues you, you can tell them what you like and don’t like and they will come up with something else Boards are amazing Staff is very knowledge and friendly

Went here on a Saturday night and had a night filled with fantastic drinks! The manager happened to be there and was very accommodating to our group. He graciously and quickly made room for our group of 7 even though the bar was already packed. He obliged us in our request for specially crafted cocktails with St. Germain for me and bourbon and ginger for my friends since we were in the mood for non-menu drinks. All our cocktails were delicious and jazzed up with little garnishes. Didn’t order too much food, but had a bite of the spicy pickles which were tasty. This is definitely a fancier bar with an intimate atmosphere and expensive prices to match. Great for a date night or catching up with friends. The excellent service and excellent drinks make Blueprint worth your while.

My husband and I were killing time before our reservation at Pok Pok. We’d parked near this area and decided to check out Blueprint base on all the positive Unilocal reviews. The space is narrow and the bar fills up most of the room though there are a few little tables along the wall. When we entered, some people were leaving the bar area, so we took their spots. The place was pretty crowded for a little before 5:00. I thought that was a good sign. I had the Perry’s Pimm’s Cup. It came in a tall glass with crushed ice and a sprig of mint for garnish. The drink tasted pretty good, but I would have preferred more of a cucumber flavor. That flavor was hidden in the background. It’s just a personal preference based on other Pimm’s Cups that I’ve had before. My husband had a whiskey based drink. He said it was okay. We weren’t wowed, so we didn’t opt for a second drink. The service was good and our water was refilled frequently. I would go back if I was in the area, but I wouldn’t seek it out.

«Oh not another pretentious cocktail bar filled with hipsters» was my first thought as I walked into the place. Damn I was wrong! This is by far the coolest bar I’ve been to in Brooklyn! Granted I live in Queens and sometimes consider myself an Angeleno, I seriously wouldn’t mind to come back again to try Andy’s hand crafted cocktail customized just for me:) The space isn’t too big, but intimate without feeling overcrowded. There is no bartender at Blueprint. Everyone is a mixologist. Watching them behind the bar is the best entertainment all night. They put so much thought and care into each drink, a rare scene you see at any bar/lounge these days. They even taste every drink before they serve it to you. It’s so relieved to know that my drink has passed a quality and poison-free test! Go for the special drinks on the menu or have anyone behind the bar make you a surprise. I was totally charmed by Andy’s Australian accent whenever he introduced a special cocktail he just brainstormed.
