History

Established in 2015.

After years of working in and operating some of the best cafes in the world, including Tel Aviv, London, Montréal, and New York, owner/​operator Idan Raz’s vision to create his own café serving fresh, delicious, and inventive fare came full circle when he met his wife Concetta in 2008. Bonding over their mutual love of food, coffee, and Italian soccer, he told Concetta what his future would hold: a baby, a wife, and a café. Several years later and after the birth of their twin daughters, who are the inspiration for the café and its name, Ana & Sophie’s was born. This is the tale of a family owned and run small company that brought Food. Family. Love to a many times alienated city life. Simply, freshly, tasty stuff made and served with love.
