History
Established in 1985.
Opened by locally raised chef Charlie Soule in this 1930 log cabin, served b, l, & d for 2 years before focusing on just dinners, his true passion. Joined by brother Steve Soule in 1990, the pair have been providing locals & tourists alike with an enjoyable dining experience ever since working on improving their knowledge and craft nigtly

Business Owner
Chef/owner for 26 years, started as a dishwasher inTahoe City during high school, working locally for 6 yrs as a line cook at Tomfoolery, Hyatt Tahoe, and finally Christy Hill in Squaw Valley. Opened the restaurant with the guidance and funding from his Aunt Corinne & Uncle Allan Stover at the age of 26 and proclaimed himself a chef. «Passion, respect, desire, & love… those are the elements of a good meal»
