Clarion Inn

Stayed at Clarion because there were a number of newborns staying with my parents during Christmas. They charged us over $ 100 for one night. For $ 100, the should be ASHAMED. I knew it was under construction, but the level of it was DISGUSTING. They have been bought be Double Tree, so these reviews won’t matter once the construction is done. The point being: you’ll get the SAME quality by staying at a Motel 6, for almost half the price. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE. I sent their company an email, describing the water damage in the room, the complete chaos of the hotel, and I get NO response. I respect them for staying open during construction, so reception can keep their jobs, but for OVER $ 100??? They should be ashamed of themselves! Never again! And trust me, when they become a Double Tree, I will let them know just how awful they value their visitors.

This hotel is an utter mess. I had a couple of out of town guests so I booked this hotel for them because of the proximity to my house. Once we checked into the room we quickly realized that they could not stay in this dank, dusty, depressing mess of a hotel. We ended up moving them to the Plainville Residence Inn which was nice and new and only $ 89 a night after my AAA discount.
At the Clarion the beds were really low to the ground, everything looked old, the remote was even cracked and broken. Nothing about this place is good except the free coffee in the lobby. I’ve been here for meetings and only really experienced the conference/​meeting rooms. I had no idea the actual lodging was this bad. Atrocious. If I could give it zero stars I would!

Old and dated. My company from the cape stayed here and I found out how bad it was. So not cool.
