DUDE!!1 This place is awesome good! Love the fried pickles especially the sauce you get (chipolte)!! Never had a bad pizza or calzone! The Mac n Cheese pizza is the best! Best pizza Ive found in Boston and many other places! I alway get delivery and its always fast and hot! Plus you can track your order online so don’t wonder when they will arrive! You get deals sometimes which is awesome!

Put in a simple order 30 minutes before arriving. Got there and was told order was «almost ready». Waited another 30 minutes with little to no update on what was happening (when I did ask, they said «it is being packed up» and that was 15 minutes into it). After an hour total, got my order which included a pizza that had been sitting out almost since I got there. Will not be back.

The girl working the front desk seemed shocked when I went to pick up my food which makes sense since she’s been working there for so long and only just now met Big Daddy himself. I’m so goddamn sick of places being so timid with a steak and cheese after asking for extra cheese. Daddy doesn’t mess around, he drowns that shit in slices of american cheese as creamy as my pale white butt cheeks. The real star here is the fried dough, it’s just perfect. I wish I could start every single day with a couple of these soft, warm, sticky balls melting in my mouth. Big Daddy’s is a good option, you know when you know baby.

Damn. Just. Damn. The fried dough bites were beyond ridiculous. It’s great to see a restaurant that offers something that no one else does and it’s just plain addictive! I would order everything I just did just for another hit of those puffy, doughy, sugary bites! That being said– I also ordered a pizza and a few grinders (yes– I’m from CT. What of it??) I ordered a ham grinder, well done. It came crispy and the bread, while delicious and buttery, was not well done. The ham and cheese were still VERY cold inside. My boyfriend said his steak sub was just ok (he really wanted Swiss cheese but they didn’t offer it). The pepperoni pizza was just average by Connecticut standards– but some of the best I’ve had delivered to Watertown in the three months I’ve been living here. All in all– I would order again! Pizza is pretty good. Grinders are good bordering on great and dough bites are addictively AWESOME! 5 stars on those and delivery personality. He was pretty friendly & personable. We will see you next game day!

Large Fathers is by far the best in the area. The classic cheese pizza is my favorite in Boston.

This place is awesome, I eat here every Friday. You can tell they use fresh ingredients, the mozzarella sticks are the best I’ve had. The restaurant is clean, the staff is friendly, its just a well run awesome place.

Best chicken tenders I’ve ever had! Pizza is not far behind! This place is amazing. Such a great menu and everything is delicious. I recommend the chipotle steak wrap, literally any of their creative pizzas, and obviously the tenders (SO big and meaty and flavorful)

DAMN! (hope I can say that Unilocal powers that be) because DAMN!
been in Boston for the week on business, and lunch at the work site consists of ordering because we all know how horrid traffic can be trying to get lunch.
I have ordered here every day this week. And damn its good, on point every time!
Day 1: Grilled Combo dinner… Half steak half chicken over bed of rice pilaf… Steak was amazing. Period
Day 2: chicken bacon ranch salad… Minus the ranch and add lite zifandel wine dressing… Awesome. Tons of chicken on salad and just wow.
Day 3: buffalo honey BBQ boneless wings, and a side of homemade crab Rangoon (cuz ya know your typical pizza joint makes them :/​) again wow! Chicken was literally freshest looking and tasting chicken I’ve ever had in a boneless wing. Crab Rangoon was also fantastic.
Bottom line is this place always gets the order right, the food is full of fresh as fresh can get ingredients. Delivery is fast. Price isn’t horrible and they have great online ordering system. GET IT!!!

I’ve had Big Daddy’s before and I’ve never had an issue with them and enjoy the food. Tonight, I ordered Big Daddy’s for a friend and myself while we were at work. When I picked up the order they had forgotten to give me my friend’s order, so I called and asked about it and they had planned to send a delivery guy out to bring it to us, which was awesome.
While I was waiting I looked at the receipt and noticed it was not what she had ordered, so I called back explaining to them that she doesn’t eat what was written down and that wasn’t what we ordered. They then made her a new calzone, even though the delivery guy was already on his way, they comped our order and when they delivered her calzone, they had given us an order of fried dough bites.
I’m still waiting to see if the comp actually goes through, but I am extremely impressed with their customer service and the way they handled the situation. Showing they care more for their customer in hopes of their return as opposed to the money. If my charge comes back I will definitely be going back on the premise of how they treat their customers alone.

I’m not often to this end of town, but I was talked into staying with friends and we needed food. After a 5 minute browse on Unilocal (and my friend requesting Italian/​pizza) we settled on this place.
Busy place so I will say it took a bit from when we ordered to when we actually got our pizza. Ordered a large classic «everything», a chef salad, and their fried dough bites.
Food is pretty solid here. Presentation, not so much, but my stomach doesn’t care if the food is pretty. Salad was huge and I like how the wrapped the turkey/​cheese/​ham up and cut it in wheels. Fresh and delicious. The fried dough is covered in powdered sugar and honey and tastes lovely.
My only complaint? The diet I had to start the next day after that face-​stuffing fest.

So I was with some family members and we were on our way back home from Cambridge. We were looking for a place to eat when I spotted Big Daddy’s. My sister had told us about how she and her school friends always order from BD, and that the food was good (she goes to the Perkins School). So we decided to try it.
First off, the menu is huge. I have never seen such a large and variety-​filled menu at a pizza place before. So that impressed me. But I still had to taste the food. We ordered Dough Bites, a large Pepperoni Pizza, and Crab Rangoons (can you believe that? A pizza place has Crab Rangoons!)
The Rangoons were simply amazing, some of the better ones that I’ve had even compared to actual Chinese food places. They tasted just right. I only wish that I had ordered more. The pizza itself was pretty good too. But the real winner were the dough bites. They were drizzled in this really sweet syrup and dusted with sugar. And my god, they were the greatest fried dough that I have ever had. I couldn’t believe it. I wanted to eat the whole box but I had to share. They were the highlight.
BD Pizza is a very capable establishment. They have proved to me that not only can they produce a good pizza, but that they can also prepare amazing tasting foods that pizza places usually don’t have. My only regret is that they are so far away. If only there was one in the Hyde Park/​Readville area. They should really think about expanding. Overall: 5 stars. I will be coming back to them whenever I’m in the area.

5÷19÷2015 I’m a teacher at West Roxbury Academy who was visiting Brighton High School and just placed an order for delivery. I was happily awaiting my delivery when the driver proved to be incompetent and a bold-​faced liar. Brighton High is a pretty big building, pretty hard to miss and I’m sure you guys get plenty of deliveries here… Or maybe not.
As I’m standing at the main entrance in the pouring rain (going on about 20 mins at this point) I’m thinking, «Maybe the driver was new???» I HOPE, it’s because he was new. I could’ve excused that. But having a delivery driver literally LIE about being somewhere they’re not is a trait that can cost you guys big bucks in the long run, since he’s delivering food and all.
All I’m saying is to check your guy out, and hungry buyer beware. He had a grey/​blue Honda CRV and the number he twice lied to me from is (617) 380‑8345. (Idiot)

Its too bad that chose this place instead of my usual because it was good the last time but i didn’t follow my own rule. If you get take out, check your order. I even asked the counter girl if it was correct and she just pointed at the receipt and said it must be. Yeah right! Got a totally different sandwich inside although they had stapled my order to the bag.
Couldn’t wait to get home to eat and was pissed when the order was completely wrong. After waiting on hold twice for 7 minutes i finally called back again and demanded not to be put on hold. Would I like to come back for another sandwich? Yeah i want to drive back at 9 pm.
Thanks for listening to my rant but better check your orders the next time at Big Daddy’s…

I was recommended this place by a friend so I figured I’d give it a shot. The pizza I’ve had has been great and I was told by a friend who ordered at the same time that the steak and cheese was great but I didn’t experience it myself. I haven’t had the long wait times or the missing sides that others have experienced and the allergy portion of the ordering online is actually pretty awesome since my wife is allergic to tomato. It’s a big pain because most places will just throw tomato on regardless thinking it’s a B.S. allergy. Overall I’ve been a pretty satisfied customer except for two things.
The two things I’ve had an issue with was the chicken parm kind of sucked, not the award winning chicken parm I was expecting and the other part is that you flood my email with crap. I do realize it’s Sunday and I could order out but I don’t need a reminder every day of what day it is and I could order from your restaurant. It’s pretty annoying and actually makes me not want to order through you. So stop sending me so many emails.

It pains me, but it is time to post a not so great review of this place because I want to love it — locally owned, close to my house, huge menu. My main gripe is that every single time I get something from Big Daddy’s, it is soggy. I typically get delivery which can take awhile so it makes sense that fried food might be soggy. Tonight I decided to pick it up myself (I’m about 5 mins away). Again, soggy. Fries, popcorn chicken and fried pickles were all so soggy that the breading was falling off.
Aside from the lack of crispiness on the fried foods, the fried pickles were just plain terrible. The pickles were overly salty and bad quality. They were also sliced very thinly.
The popcorn chicken was odd in that some pieces had juicy white meat and others had grissly darkish meat. Not good, sadly.
The only good meal I’ve had here (in maybe 8 or so meals) was a basic sub sandwich. Stick to the classics and don’t order anything fried if you are getting delivery or take out.

There is no better Daddy then Big Daddy Big Daddy’s pizza, the pizza is so yummy, I give you 12 stars, my favorite pizza is spinach feta cheese and tomatoes, if you want a good piece of pizza or you would like to order a whole pie check out big Daddy’s pizza everyone, I’ll share some pictures with you all, but if you’re hungry check up at daddys,

Irony at its greatest. Used credit we had been given due to sides of dressing and mayo not sent on a few orders. Guess what was missing from the order? Yep. The sides of dressing.
If you want extra dressing or mayo. Go to the store and buy them yourself. Or do what we’ll do… and find a new delivery place.

Tried it for delivery for the first time for a group event that we were hosting. Their fried dough is amazing! It comes super fresh and the pricing is really reasonable. We haven’t had issues with delivery before and will be coming back in the future.
I’ve never been to the physical store so I can’t comment on that but delivery seems to work just fine for us.

Good options, good food but don’t place large orders with Big Daddy’s. They keep forgetting to send our ordered and paid items. Not once, not twice but it did happen 4 times. They forgot our chili and the patriot sub this time. Since our order is to be eaten later in the day I don’t bother calling them but they definitely need to get their shit together.

I got a buffalo fried chicken sub for lunch. Was very sloppily put together. Tasted ok.
Chicken was rubbery… it looked cooked but not entirely positive.
Now I feel sick, hope it’s not food poisoning :(
