They outright lied and told me friend that the Aura satin I recommended wasn’t available in the color she wanted. Not knowing anything about paint, she accepted their suggestion that the latex pearl finish would be fine for painting doors and trim. That will last about a week before it gets dirty and/​or starts chipping off.

There are a few Benjamin Moore dealers in our area, but this place is the best of the lot. They really know paint and painting, unlike the very well-​meaning staff at some of the other places (hardware stores with a paint department). They are good with color, very accommodating, happy to do custom matches. The carry a more complete line of other tools and supplies, so we can always get the right size/​type of brush, tray liners, you name it. The only reason I took away one start is hours — they are closed on Sundays, and a lot of people are doing weekend painting projects.

H.W. Foote sells quality paint and supplies. Prices are in-​line with every other Benjamin Moore retailers. What sets them apart is the level of exceptional service they provide to their customers whether a weekend warrior or a painting professional.
Because of their professionalism and quality service I go out of my way to purchase my paint supplies here. They are always willing to help out when I have questions and they have a product for everything you could ever think you might need when painting.

I can count on H.W. Foote to match paint well, which matters a lot to me. But I continue to find it hilarious that the guy who does it will take my chip and disappear without a word into the back room for up to 30 minutes. I know to expect it now, but the first time it happened I was pretty annoyed. At least tell me how long it’s going to take so that I can continue with my errands and come back later!

We found HW Foote from the Ben Moore website and it is a great paint store! It’s exceptionally clean and well laid out, they’ve got everything you need to do a good job, and they’re super nice and very knowledgeable!
Their prices are the same as those at other Ben Moore retailers, but their service blows away everyone else!
