Main dining room currently serving stickneys menu only, while stickneys undergoing renos. Service mediocre at best, with several apologies. Thank you for repeated apologies, but id rather it be right from the get go. Even the bread was an issue, bring bread to the tables, period. Also would have liked option to order from main dining room menu also. Upcharge of 2.50 for same glass of wine offered in other venues on site?! Nice to see main dining room full, but hate to see quality suffer. Get it together, not really off season mid-​may.

My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary at the Mount Washington resort. We dinner the first evening in the main dinning room. Our experience was fantastic. The hostess, Jo, and our server were very good. We told the hostess that we were celebrating and after we were settled I she brought us glasses of champagne. There was a two person band and casual dancing during the evening as well. The food was interesting and well prepared and presented. At the end of the evening the staff also brought out a dessert. This is a great place to celebrate a special occasion.
