Great food, great service! We had a great experience here. The ribs were great and the staff was super friendly. Unusually good service that you don’t often experience. We would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Best bbq in the area, hands down. The beef brisket sandwich with baked beans and slaw are two thumbs up.

Decided to try this place on our last visit based solely on Trip Adviser and Unilocal reviews. So glad we did. This place is amazing! It’s a little hidden gem for sure. This place is off the strip on the yellow route. We went on a Saturday night around 8pm and it was a full house but certainly not packed or crowed to the point of being uncomfortable. You order as soon as you walk in, while you are in line waiting to order a waiter will come to you and ask how many and tell you what table to go to after you have ordered. It is pretty much a self-serve establishment. There are waiters that seat you and run your food, but you order at a counter and get your own refills. We ordered the Smoke Pit plate, which shows on the menu it feeds two but in all reality that is more like 3 or 4. A family with two adults and two kids could dine on this. It was so much food we took two boxes back as left overs. It was so good, food was hot, fresh, and seasoned perfectly. We will absolutely dine here again on our next visit. The con to this place is the ordering process. As mentioned you order at the counter when you walk in, but it is literally right in front of the front door, and it can get congested in that area quickly making it hard to walk in and out of the restaurant. So do be aware of that, especially at busier meal times.

Danna’s was recommended by the locals as the best place to eat bar-b-que and Wow, they were spot on. We went twice while we were in Branson. The staff was so efficient and capable and Linda seemed like a long time family member before we left. Danna’s is the perfect example of customer service and the pulled pork is the best I’ve ever eaten. The Banana’s Foster is heavenly. This eatery is very high on our radar for future visits. This place is worth a trip from the atmosphere to the food to the service. Nice and comfortable atmosphere is oldies music and service that is above and beyond. We had food brought to table, removed from our table and we were checked on twice during our short visit. I had a piggy melt and my wife had a pork tenderloin. Both were excellent. Kids meals were a little pricey, but when everything else is great it isn’t worth worrying about.

Danna“s BBQ and Burger Shop is OK, but truly the food here is no great shakes. Here’s why. Taste, I expect my ribs to have a smoky taste. The ribs were well cooked but it did not appear that they had seen a smoker. Nor did I see evidence that any of the«dry rub» style seasonings been applied to the meat before it had been cooked. The person who prepared the ribs had squirted a very small amount of BBQ sauce on the ribs at some time during the cooking process, but basically the ribs were. well, bland. Nor were the ribs particularly moist. They were just OK. Perceived value. The wife had the pulled pork sandwich and she too thought that while it was not bad, it fell way short of the praise that some of the other reviewers have given. Another negative was the perceived value of her sandwich. She felt that the serving size was less than average for the cost. On the plus side Danna“s facilities and staff were at least above average. The place was exceedingly clean and the folks were very friendly. Service was above average and the food arrived at the table very quickly. Overall the two meals(½ slab of ribs with fries, pulled pork sandwich with fries and two fountain drinks) at $ 35 dollars was at a par if not slightly more costly than a place like Famous Dave’s but then again, in my opinion, was not as good as the food at that establishment. Sorry Danna’s next time I’m in town and want ribs me and my money will go elsewhere.

When you walk inside and join the mass of humanity in line to order, you have to wonder if you have made a mistake by coming to this packed out joint. Not to worry — this place hums like a well-oiled machine. There is a dining room staff who visits you while in line, then prepares a table for you while you are ordering. The hostess in charge is exceptional at her juggling job. The food was excellent! Big, meaty burgers with all the fixins. Great fries and onion rings. It was the most enjoyable meal during our stay in Branson.

Excellent food! Good portions. Shares the combo platter of catfish & ribs with my hubby. The ribs hardly needed sauce. Both sauce & rib were tasty by themselves. The dilemma: sauced vs sauce-less ribs! Oh boy! Catfish was battered with cornmeal instead of breadcrumbs. Made the difference. Got the pecan pie to go because we had no in our bellies! And did I mention the very thick milkshake? Very tasty! The dinner, 3 beverages & dessert for less than $ 40. Sweet! A great start on our bbq tour!

One of our must stop places to eat in the Branson area! Never disappointed and the servers are always friendly! My husband LOVES the Pulled Pork here. He seldom varies. We always bring back some for the family. Best BBQ sauce.

My wife and I stopped here while in Branson about 10 months ago. It doesn’t look like much from the outside, but the food was really really good. I don’t really give five stars to places where you order at the counter, but this one tempts me. Staff was friendly and the orders came out promptly and correct. Oh, and did I mention delicious? I had the Piggy Melt and Crispy fries(which were probably starch coated to get the extra crispiness). My wife had Pork Tenderloin, and said that it was moist, tender, and very good. They serve both sweet and unsweet iced tea, so be sure to specify which you prefer. I would certainly come back here if I found myself in the area again.

Don’t let the long lines scare you away. The crew is efficient and while in line will reserve a table for your party. The food was amazing and worth every cent! My family declared the cheese burger, fat burger and ribs the best they have ever had! The desserts were just as good. With that said, this is the second time we have eaten here. Two days ago we ate here and while the food was amazing the service was not. Our order arrived 45 minutes later only after I complained. The manager did come out and admired the ticket was lost. He quickly offered free desserts(8 people in our group) and a gift card to give him another try. Tonight we gave him another try and food was out within 5 minutes of sitting at table. Again food was amazing and desserts were delicious! We saw staff offering to fill drinks for customers and constantly moving around cleaning tables. Don’t worry Danna — we will be back again and again! You were worth the second chance!

Best barbecue in Branson! THISIS A MUSTFORBRANSONTOURISTS:)) Not my first time here, definitely won’t be my last! Best barbecue in Branson! I wish they had a Dana’s BBQ closer to my home town, but it’s always nice to look forward to eating here when we visit during the summer. Best bbq everything! They never disappoint! Teen staff is on point and polite as could be. Wait time even during rush hour is cut to a minimum compared to places like Chilis and even Wendy’s. Food always gets to our table freshly made and steaming within 10 minutes.

We decided to come check this place out while we were on our trip out here. We were looking for a place that had bbq and burgers and the same joint and plus the reviews on here were pretty in between. Place was pretty dead since we came a little late for lunch. Waitress was very nice and attentive. She made us feel like home. Got two free apps with our visit there. The onion loaf was amazing and so was the fried okra. The food portions were very large and the ribs were fall off the bone. The golden fried shrimp were amazing. The breading was very flavorful. Took two desserts to go. Turtle cheesecake and carrot cake both were awesome. Would recommend this place.

This must be a town favorite because the lines are crazy! One thing I liked about Danna’s is not worrying about finding a table while in line to order. Most of the say reserved and a server will seat you upon ordering/paying for your food. I got the grilled chicken salad that was actually really good. The chicken had a nice flavor to it and I got a spring mix instead of basic iceberg. The salad was so big that I made my husband finish it. Speaking of big, he ordered some platter for two that had every meat they offered. While he thought they all had a wonderful, smoky flavor, he was surprised the meat wasn’t super hot in temperature. All in all, he ate everything and enjoyed his meal.

Danna’s is most definitely worth the drive. Service was friendly and very fast! Everything was hot and scrumptious. My hubby and I have never been to Branson but I know if we come back this will be where we eat. I know alot of people who come here, I’ll be telling them to check it out too. I’d give her 10 stars if Unilocal would let me.

Dana’s BBQ is always a favorite for us. We love the pulled pork sandwiches and the kids love the grilled cheese and desert selection. The ribs are delicious and portions are big. Our friends got the catfish and said it was fantastic though they didn’t care for the beans or slaw. They are closed on Sundays and parking is tight.
