The cocktails are fabulous! Full flavor and delicious. My personal favorite was espresso one that made my mouth melt.
Great dim swanky setting, my real drawback that wasn’t bigger. It crowded quickly but don’t let that stop you from here for your next drink.

Great bar and staff. Had the Boulder passport so we had to pick specific drinks but they were great! Staff were friendly and attentive. Read something about live music 4 nights a week but didn’t see anything happening on Sat night — not sure why, I’ll ask next time. Drinks are in the $ 10 — $ 15 range, but they’re good and refreshing.
Dress code is whatever you feel like wearing — it’s at a hotel so no one really cares. It is a nicer place so you can dressing up a little if you feel like it.

Great bar! Expertly prepared drinks, nice seating, wonderful happy hour offerings. Great place to pop in for an hour or two to enjoy the good food and drink.
My only complaint? The female servers kept singing. Yes, SINGING, and quite loudly, near the register. It was annoying and attention seeking. It got on our nerves and we had to leave.
Other than that, we enjoyed this place and will try it again.

If you’re hanging out in Boulder and actually shower in something other than patchouli, then you should swing in to the St. Julien.
A swank ass bar with some delicious libations. While T-​Zero itself is a bit darker, the lobby is a touch brighter and more communal. They also tend to have live music regularly.
Pro tip: Don’t forget there’s a spa down the hall… and it’s a hotel in case your night is headed in that direction.

Was here when fellow Unilocaler Shalan G and other beloved Unilocalers decided to meet for UYE Happy Hour on Friday September 21^st 2012. Thankfully, Shalan managed to get hold of the dining table and seats for us just outside the Patio near to the «grand» piano and fire place. Yes, this Lounge at St. Julien Hotel is Über Beautiful. We shared the Jills Bistro Tots. Since I dont drink any Alcoholic Drink at all, I cant say much about any Alcoholic Drinks from the Menu. All in all, the food was A-​OKAY but I was here more for the company and the conversations with Shalan and other beloved Unilocalers. Above anything else, extending my thank you to Shalan G, Tiffany N, Kelly T, Doug Y and his lovely wife and other fellow Unilocalers for an enjoyable evening basking with the Boulder Scenery…

Went here for happy hour and I was not really a fan.
Happy hour consists of some $ 5 cocktails as well as a few lower priced apps. We only had the tots which were delicious but are HH priced for $ 4 for six… regularly priced at $ 8…more than $ 1 per tot. They were certainly more robust that regular tots but not that robust. Also, there was more than one HH menu at our table and some of them said HH ended at 6:30 and some said it ended at 7… and of course they honored the earlier of the two times.
I also had the $ 5 bellini which was tasty. As 6:30 was quickly approaching I put in an order of HH eggrolls… and never received them. I was also considering a non-​HH mojito, but the server never really came back and after awhile I was kind of ready to leave anyway (we were outside and I was without a drink for most of the time and getting chilly).
I paid for my $ 5 drink (with .40 tax) with a $ 20 and got $ 14 back. Really? I’m typically not nitpicky about rounding up or down, but considering the general lack of attention and the small amount of my total (which was not up to me since I ordered more in the first place), I was a tad annoyed. I would have spent more if we would have been checked on more but was really over this place at that point.
On the plus side, they had a really groovy groove band with a bunch groovy people grooving to the music. It made for a pretty entertaining show! I’d pass on any other front though.

Kettle One happy hour martinis… And they are amazing. Great atmosphere, drinks and good snack food (pulled pork sliders) offset the slow service and unfriendly waitresses.

The St. Julien hotel is gorgeous and the T-​Zero has a great hold on what the clientele at such a hotel might be looking for. Well-​made drinks with quality alcohols and nicely prepared eats.
After finding out that they didn’t have Leopold’s Apple Whiskey, I went with the Leopold’s whiskey they did have – Peach. I ordered it the same way I usually order my Leopold’s – with soda and a lime. It was ok, but I love my apple whiskey.
The food took quite a long time to come out and in fact, someone in our party never even received their food. But, when we were ready to move on, and getting our checks, the waitress didn’t even ask about the app that never came out. Guess she forgot? But, it wasn’t on a bill either, so I guess no harm-​no foul?
It was CRAZY busy on that Friday night. We sat on the patio, as the whole hotel lobby was being used as a jazz dance floor. Pretty good live music though…

Ditto * most of what Tiffany W. said – I was at the same marvelous unofficial Unilocal event planned by visiting Shalan G. Of course, as a cynical & happily eccentric long-​time Boulderite I’m not much impressed by anything about the St. Julien. Their outdoor plaza area does seem to have potential, however. Instead of nightclub-​type music so loud that all conversations seemed to involve raised voices or yelling across the table, it would be so lovely if they would try nice ambient jazz or (good heavens… am I old? or what?) classical music. The band that was setting up behind our table just inside the lobby doors had not started playing yet… it was music on the sound system.
The salad I ordered was tasty and well prepared – it was the chopped salad sans bacon. With tip though it was $ 15 which is on the steep side for a salad. It wouldn’t have even been that much at the good ol’ Sleazecake Factory. :o)
Salads are rarely reduced in price on happy hours menus, and this one wasn’t…that’s the norm. I don’t drink alcohol, but noticed that the colourful fruity drinks people were enjoying at our table looked pretty, and everyone seemed happy about their drinks, happy hour food, and prices.
And so, on and on life goes, in the bodacious Boulder bubble.

I don’t spend a lot of time up in Boulder, for several reasons. And especially to drive up on a Friday night? Well, it took a very special Unilocaler visiting from Seattle to make it worth the drive ya know ;)
Our party sat out on the patio, though I still consider it T-​Zero, as that’s where our drinks were coming from. We got there with about 15 minutes left to spare of their happy hour (that does in fact end at 6:30). Our server (who had amazingly buff arms, as a side note), was cool with us ordering two drinks at once so that we could still get the HH price. The Dude and I also split an order of «Bistro Tots» — basically wads of deep-​fried mashed potatoes drizzled with aioli (mayonnaise) and sprinkled with cheese. On HH, these little (spud) puppies were $ 5.25.
The lounge/​bar features a fruit mimosa on HH for $ 5. Before we arrived it had been blood orange (which I was quite looking forward to), but I guess they ran out because they switched it to raspberry purée (which was fine). I also saw one go by that had a strawberry stuck on the glass, so I’m wondering if later on the strawberries came out to play. The Dude ordered two brown ales on HH for $ 3 each.
In addition to our drinks, they feature special prices on other beers, house wines, and basic martinis (a sweet and savory, if I recall). Other food choices on the HH menu include: steamed edamame, hummus, veggie eggrolls, and pork sliders. There were a few others, but I forget. In general, the selection of drinks and food were all good and with decent prices. Also, hang out long enough and you might get to people watch on those who are dancing to the Friday night Latin music. A full spectrum of skill, it was like drinks AND entertainment!
I can’t say I’d make any special trip back up to the T-​Zero (not without a visiting dignitary, that is). However, as a place to have happy hour in Boulder, it was a good spot. And besides, the drive OUT of Boulder looked much worse that night anyway.

This bar is swanky with a capital «S.» The lighting is so dark you have to peer closely at the people around you to identify them. Unless of course you’re in the round room that makes me feel quite a lot like I’m in the haunted mansion ride at Disney.
The cocktails are simply scrumptious. I had some sort of blueberry-​acai-​lemonade with alcohol that somehow made me feel like I was doing something good for my body even though I was putting alcohol into it.
And the staff is awesome. No matter where I sat, in the bar, in the lobby, or in the round room, the server found me to ask if I needed another drink at just the right time and found me again to bring it to me. I’m sure she was frustrated with me, but I kind of thought I’d like to go back and play a game of hide and seek with her and my beverages to see if she could always find me. On second thought, I think I’d rather just have my drink.
