Nice atmosphere. Lots of seating/tables. Good and prompt service. Parking lot! The one drink that I’ve had here was delicious. Came here to do some work, and I’d definitely come back/recommend it to a friend. By my standards, the prices were high.

Love! Love! Love! I usually get an iced vanilla latte with soy and the croissant sandwich. Atmosphere and staff are great. They have cool tunes and the art work changes. Outside seating the back under trees and greenery. Everything is made right there and I always see fresh goodies like banana bread or coconut Nutella doughnuts. Also have a lot of gluten-free and vegan options.

Less pretentious than a lot of coffee shops around here, with a nice selection of vegan baked goods. I had a vegan, gluten-free donut that far exceeded my expectations. The back patio is really nice, and the quirky, revolving art on display adds to the vibe inside. I’ve only had positive experiences with the staff here. I don’t know what everyone’s complaining about.

I’m rating this spot mostly on its ability to accommodate my dog. They have a really great back patio area that you and your dog can walk around the building to access. My summer go-to is a double shot over ice, and it measured up pretty well to my expectations while not blowing my socks off. I was very happy to sit and work out back for 1.5 hours while I drank it, my dog resting at my feet. Service was wonderful, loved the barista behind the bar(short dark hair and sweet nature). I’ll be back.

For gluten free and vegan baked goods this place provides a decent selection ranging from banana bread to tarts. I settled on a banana bread and almond and strawberry baked tart if some sort. Both were delicious — different due to the gluten free and vegan ingredients, but tasty nonetheless. They also had crumb cake, lemon cake, and other pastries that all looked like they were prepared right there in house. Though I didn’t indulge in any coffee, the shop seemed to have a good variety of quality coffee. The space is nothing to be wide-eyed about in terms of aesthetics, but it certainly is cozy and offers a great spot to really nestle in and get some work done. They even have an outdoor patio from which I can imagine people find solace amidst the day-to-day stress. If I lived in Boulder, I could definitely see myself here a lot.

First, let me say that I like the flavor of the coffee and teas here a lot, and service has always been quite friendly, too, but I can’t say I’ve had great experiences here overall. Today I received the stalest, crunchiest, crumbliest Madeleine I’ve ever had. My light-ice cup of iced tea was ¾ full of ice… Which means I got about 4 sips of tea out of the cup(which is my biggest pet peeve and the reason I ask for light ice.) My gluten intolerant husband got a gluten free donut and it was perfect — soft and delicious — but it was handed over on the same plate as the madeleine, with the madeleine leaning on the donut. The gal behind the counter quickly made it right, which I appreciate, but more awareness about allergens and cross-contamination would be great. So today’s order was $ 10 with a $ 2 tip and full of disappointment. What a waste of money. If I were only wanting coffee and I was in the area, I MIGHT consider stopping here again, but with sooooo many other options in Boulder, this wouldn’t be my first, second, or third choice. I’m a little burned after today’s experience.

Today’s experience ruined my opinion of my all-time favorite café in Boulder. The barista is the record-holder for bad, mad-at-the-world service — and this includes Moscow and East Germany! I’m sorry to say I will never go back there.

I am always disappointed by the slow service and seeming indifference of the staff to me as a customer. Maybe I’m just not hipster enough. Anyway, today I spilled my ice tea and not only did I have to clean it up but I got no refill to replace it. it’s my last visit here. There are lots of great coffee shops in Boulder! Go somewhere else!!!

This place is really hit or miss. The good: Often a lot less busy than other places in Boulder, which means quieter atmosphere. Love that they support local artists! Coffee is great quality, consistently. Nice seating area inside and out. They hold some good events, sometimes for schools. The not-so-good: The staff has overall been sweet(really!), and I’ve only had one less than positive interaction with the staff worth mentioning. The last time I went, I asked for a small iced coffee with half ice. The dude handed me an iced coffee in a 12oz hot cup, and my ice request was blatantly ignored(that’ll be $ 2.60 please!)…for some reason iced coffee leaks when it’s in a hot cup like hot coffee doesn’t? I don’t quite understand why, but the cup felt like it was going to fall apart by the time I was done drinking it. And of course, that gossshhhdddarrrnn sign. It’s truly off-putting(«Two hour parking for your car and for your bum»). I understand the whole debate… you’re a coffee shop and people take advantage… yaddi-yadda…but Boulder has an epidemic of bad customer service with pretentious servers & baristas, and this is a prime example. Why does it often feel(in Boulder specifically), like I’m an inconvenience rather than a customer… seeing this sign is always a fun reminder of that. Thank you so much for letting me support your business… don’t worry… I’ll go away now.

I love the vibe in there. Super down to earth, great staff, AWESOME baked goods. The strawberry bars are to die for. Love the back space. Yay Espressoria! *Was not crazy about a salad that I bought once– it felt over priced for the product. But their turkey brie sandwhich is pretty rocking.

I enjoyed chatting with the barista and their Mate is pretty great. I also love their«ingenuiTEA» brand loose leaf tea system. Also there is a large quiet patio out back that seems like a fantastic place to relax during the summer. Out of 6 customers there were 4 laptops, so this is a remote workable spot with guilt-free wifi.

Love the coffee and the food, the but people who work here are incredibly rude. If you don’t buy something from them every hour they are on your case, despite the fact that I am always getting breakfast and lunch on a regular basis. The owner should be ashamed of their staff.

Understated gem on the east end of Pearl St. They have the best selection of pastries and drinks downtown. It’s quiet and well lit, an unpretentious spot to work or have business meetings.

I’d give it 5 star if I wanted to go there to work on my computer. But if you want to chat with a friend, with most people working on their computers at Jet’s, you feel like in a church more than in a coffee shop, and at least I feel I need to stay quiet. I also find the atmosphere quite cold, but that totally subjective. Otherwise, the coffee was good and the pastry delicious.

Charming, relaxed, easygoing coffee shop with unique breakfast baked goods made inside. Met the owner of 12 years, plus several out of town visitors. Delightful conversations. Iced coffee was good. Sampled two different morning treats(see photo below). Both were gluten-free. Other days have non-vegan fare. Overall the most welcoming coffee business in Boulder, and there are plenty of them. Loads of car and bike parking. It’s easy to miss this place, because its curb appeal is so low key. In a sleepy part of Far East Pearl Street. Small sunny front patio and large shaded rear patio. Both are extremely dog-friendly. Zippy WiFi connection. Great jazz music playing too!

I have to agree with others on here, the barista I had on two occasions was SORUDE! I asked her if she knew which had more calories between two baked goods I was thinking of ordering, she started lecturing me about how stupid it is to worry about calories, that calories are arbitrary & that if I am that worried I should eat a turkey sandwich! I was SO TURNEDOFF after this. Sucks cause I love their patio.

Good coffee, baked goods and other food. I recommend the lox plate. Fun atmosphere, art and patrons from the neighborhood which is a mix of students, young professionals and even some old farts. Many people come here to work. There are plenty of plugs and the internet works well. It could be cozier — all the chairs are hard and the floor is concrete.

Favorite coffee house in Boulder! I love the espresso drinks. Try the chocolate chip cookies– amazing! There are so many treats here that look great, and I haven’t had a chance to try yet, so I’ll be back as often as possible. For dog lover’s, there are great photos on the wall for sale featuring rescue dogs– love, love, love it. Great décor and a great message to support animal adoption. I love the back patio– it’s open and spacious for seating, with a cozy vibe. I can’t wait to share this local find with all of my out of town guests.

Great atmosphere and I just noticed that they have outside seating in the back(and in front)! Good selection of food(real food too, not all pastries). I’d go here all the time if I lived closeby. Right now it’s our pre-climbing meeting spot, I approve!
