Auto Armor

I’ll add my vote to all the other enthusiastic ones. I met Jason when I was looking for the office of one of his competitors. He spent 20 minutes talking with me and offering advice – even though I was not planning to hire him. I came back several weeks later and had him and his team do the work on my new car. What a pleasure it is to work with the entire team, especially Brett and Jason.

These guys are super nice and very accommodating when it comes to time constraints. They also are very price competitive. They did such a good and quick job on my glass headlamp protective covers that when I wanted a tint strip for the brand new windshield on my Jetta (windshield #4), I immediately thought of them. For sure, I’ll be having them do all window tinting for my Passat and my house too.
Make them some cookies or brownies when you come in and you know they’ll be extra nice back. I make these for lots of people who work on my cars. I owe some to my mechanics at Verner’s as well. This was great advice from Tom & Ray Magliozzi from Car Talk. It never fails to make car people smile and remember you too.

Jason was awesome and hilarious! They did a great job on my windows and the staff was friendly, professional and fast. They had some kids and dogs hanging around which made it fun for the short time I had to wait. Highly recommend them!

I have never had windows tinted before so I shopped around a lot and was really frustrated by the experience. I literally talked to 12 different installers from Denver and Boulder and every one had their own shtick, guarantee that their product was the best, and willingness to throw their competitors under the bus… not Jason. Somehow this business is almost invisible on Unilocal (likely because it is a small, fairly nondescript shop that doesn’t seem to do much marketing) but where I ultimately decided to go.
After finally narrowing it down to a specific type of film I was looking for I did another Unilocal search and found Auto Armor which I’d somehow missed in my original search. When I called Jason I was pleased to discover he carries the film I was looking for (3M Color-​Stable). The price quote he gave me was the best I came across for this product and second best overall for my car (there was a small shop in Commerce City with cheaper prices but an inferior product). Perhaps best of all, Jason didn’t try to high pressure sell me, he didn’t claim his product was the best and all else are junk (just that the product he carries is rock solid and a good value which I had previously decided on my own anyway), he answered all my questions knowledgeably and helpfully, he actually talked me out of spending money on an additional service which he felt I didn’t need even though he could have made more money by installing that as well, and he was easy to work with in terms of scheduling. I picked up the car yesterday and the workmanship looks to be top notch (no bubbles, scratches, uncovered areas, etc. I’ll update if any problems arise but am confident that a) they won’t because of the quality of the materials and the install and b) Jason will promptly and gladly address them if they do.

Jason does a great job with the window tint and clear bra. Great customer service too. Dropped me off at work and then came to pick me up when my car was done. Didn’t try to sell me more than I needed and his prices are certainly fair.
