Arcadea specializes in custom residential design, home remodeling projects, and multi-​family residential projects. In addition, we also have extensive experience in mixed-​use, retail, commercial, and office projects. We offer a flexible service, but our full services typically include 3D modeling, interior design, lighting design, cost control, and construction oversight. Unique to Arcadea, is our ability to give in-​depth cost estimating while in the pre-​design phase. History

Established in 1995.

David spent the first ten years of life in Ghana, West Africa, the son of medical missionaries and has since traveled extensively throughout Europe, Asia, Africa and North America.

In 1990, David moved to Boulder after receiving a Masters Degree in Design Studies from Harvard University. Prior to that, he spent seven years in Boston designing a wide variety of projects in historic urban contexts, with nationally recognized firms such as Goody, Clancy and Associates. He also holds a Bachelor of Architecture and Bachelor of Environmental Design degrees with distinction from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis (1983) and a diploma in specialized architectural studies from the University of Tianjin in China (1981).

In Colorado, David continued to work as design architect for Communication Arts in Boulder, the Urban Design Group in Denver and OZ Architecture in Boulder before founding Arcadea Architecture in 1995.
