Richard and his crew just removed a very large eucalyptus tree from my front yard. The tree had large limbs including a couple leaning towards the house. Richard was timely in providing a quote, and was able to perform the job within days. He and his crew arrived on time and completed the job within hours. It was fun to watch how he roped the limbs to have them fall in just the right spot. The tree is gone and the mess cleaned up in one day. His price was fair and his work was excellent.

Richard is principal, careful, and provides amongst the best service I’ve experienced in this area. Amazing if you have a large tree is requiring skilled removal. Never a regret!

When my family’s cabin in Brookdale had several massive trees requiring very careful removal to protect our cabin, we used Richard and his crew and are so thankful we did! He is experienced, methodical, informational, and awe inspiring to watch. Years of experience proved invaluable, he could land a branch from 200 feet up on a dime! The best.

We had a very challenging and difficult tree, needing an arborist to climb 200 feet to the crown, to check the health of our Fir tree and then trim away dead and overloaded limbs. Richard gave us the best quote and came highly recommended. The crew showed up the following Monday and proceeded to climb Everest! His climber went to the very top checked crown then started removing limbs the size of small trees. They roped everything off and lowered the limbs with care as this tree is directly over our house. Richard was on site making sure all limbs were trimmed properly and the result was a tree that now looks healthy and balanced. The ground crew was meticulous chipping all brush, raking up yard all that was left was a pile of wood chips we will use for our garden. Richard and his crew were polite, hard working and easy to do business with 5 stars.

Shame on you. Besides having a rep as a jerk, you were in the parade for the fourth of july in boulder creek with a sign that said «no more non-​moral laws for america». If you want to be a bigot thats fine but spell check your signs. Non– moral is not a word. Immoral is. You MORON. Oh and on behalf of non bigots everywhere we will be going elsewhere.

Great service. Inspected the trees before hand and recommended a course of action. Not someone who is ready to cut the forest to the ground. I appreciate the professional approach and respect for the trees. Had three problem trees dropped and one trimmed. Showed up on time, got the job done. Everything as promised, even discounted from the estimate because they got it done faster than expected. One of the trees was between a water tank and a pump shed. 150 foot oak tree, trimmed it, dropped it in lengths and never touched a thing — great job guys!

My wife and I almost got ran off the road by one of this companies trucks. The guy driving must’ve been going 60mph in a 35mph zone and we didn’t get out of his way fast enough so he cut us off and almost hit us. After that he started passing people on highway 9 in Felton then we lost sight of him… Maybe the owner should put GPS on his vehicles, his insurance company will give him a decent discount. Until then I won’t recommend paying him to have his drivers hauling trees around almost killing people…

This guy did ok taking the trees down, but has left the logs in my driveway for almost a month now with endless excuses! And the pile of wood chips is still sitting there slowing being scattered all over my property. I am NOT happy!

Richard is known to climb trees himself, so you can get the owner directing the crew when you hire these guys. They’re reliable, affordable, and worked carefully around my landscaped property.

Wonderful family owned tree business. Fair prices and easy to work with. They removed a tree at my house and did a great job from start to finish. It was a touchy job as the 70′ tree was up against my house, and it could have gone really wrong. Cannot recommend them enough and they are just good people!

Rude when I talked to them and overpriced. I’ve been cutting my trees for years and will always use some other tree service.

Richard’s son Adam and team have been here a couple of times already. These folks are very professional. They’ve removed a few 100ft+ tall firs. Very safe, honest and fast. They chip all the limbs and brush, cut the trunk into rounds that then can be split (you do that part or they can make referral) for wood-​burning stove. They can also grind stumps (we have redwood stump to remove). I highly recommend them.
