Conscious Clearing

Burk and his crew are fantastic. We had about 4 thousand sqft of poison oak and blackberriy brambles growing on our property and they completely eradicated it by hand in less than 3 days. His prices are very fair and he really knows his stuff. My only complaint is that they’re a little hard to reach on the phone so sometimes even though communication is thorough, it’s slow. A minor inconvenience for such a great team to work with, imho.

These folks need to clear their conscious. What a rip off. Arrived three days late, no phone call made us wait. Then failed to deliver kindling as promised. I can live with the delivery and kindling issues but they delivered wet green wood completely unable to start. I am a disabled senior citizen who just hand double hand surgery, this is an unbearable situation I neither have the money to order more wood from another company, nor can I get a fire started with this crap wood and it is my only source of heat.
Called the company to complain and lets say they were as professional in their response as their performance to date reflects.
Do Not Waste your money!

Last summer we had a project involving an outdoor dining area on our brick terrace. We had sturdy beams at each corner but were having difficulty finding the material for the roof of the arbor. I contacted Burke to see if it were possible to get 12 ft. reasonably straight limbs. Not only did was he willing to help with such a small endeavor, but he had his crew cut and limb the length we needed, stacked them neatly, and gave us the location of the site for pick up. This is truly a business with a heart for the locals!

Conscious Clearing delivered firewood for us last year (and stacked it too, for a nice price), so we called them when an oak tree fell across our driveway. Burke and his crew came out promptly and bucked, split, and stacked the wood for us. Over the next few weeks, they did a variety of other work on the property, ranging from the easy (clearing brush) to the hard (digging out oleanders) to the technically difficult (topping an oak tree that was leaning too close to the house).
As a tree lover, I particularly like that Burke is an arborist. Rather than suggesting we just cut down the oak tree near the house, Burke suggested topping it in specific places so that it could continue to grow, but in the other direction.
In general, Burke and his crew were friendly, hard-​working, efficient, and skilled — all for a reasonable price.

These guys were very responsive to our needs. For many years now, the main source of heat for our house has been wood They got us nice dry oak to heat our home and they got it here fast. Thanks Conscious Clearing! KW

We have a house in Boulder Creek and this is the place that we get our wood delivered from. We usually order ½ a cord over the phone and they deliver it whenever you want. The wood is always dry and burns incredibly well. it took us a few tries with other local wood delivery services, but CC is thge one we went with and are now loyal customers of, mainly b/​c the wood is so great. They have a truck that dumps the wood wherever you want and I think they stack it for you for a little extra, but I always just do it myself. They also take checks, which makes the whole process so easy and hassle free.
Seriously a great business… I highly recomend for anyone in the area.

Conscious Clearing did a fantastic job taking down several redwoods that were dangerously close to our new home. We were new to this process, so Burke walked us through everything, explaining each step and clearly providing cost and schedules from the very beginning. He helped us navigate the big decision of what to do with the wood once the trees were down (there is a LOT of lumber!) We now have a safe, insurable house and plan to build a beautiful deck from the trees that once stood around our home. I highly recommend and will definitely be using Conscious Clearing in the future!
