Went to a Cub-On this past weekend w/my 9-year old at Camp Sutter. The camp is part of the Boy Scouts group of camps situated in the Santa Cruz mountains. It had facilities for canoeing, archery, rifle range, pool and arts & crafts. The whole weekend was part of an all inclusive package that also included meals which BTW is not recommended. I need to do some major cleansing after a weekend of hotdogs and chicken nuggets. Bar none, it was one of the most enjoyable weekends I’ve had w/the Boy Scouts. Although, the 1-night we were there was marred by loud, obnoxious so called«boy scouts» aka young 15 – 17 year old idiots that were hooting and hollering at 5AM. Where was their Scoutmaster I wonder? And I’m pretty sure being a-holes is not part of being a Boy Scout. I digress. The archery, swimming and the canoeing the day before kinda made up for the whole«incident.» On the more positive side, the adults also got to do skeet shooting the next day. WOW ! Was it ever a blast ! Pun intended. And nothing like a little 12-gauge action I always say.
