Specialties
D SCALE is a dynamic modern furnishings and accessories store located in Boston’s South End. D SCALE offers custom upholstered furnishings and case goods that are simple and well-proportioned, with the flexibility to fit into a variety of environments — all with comfort and a touch of glamour. Completely custom-capable furniture allows patrons to specify dimensions, finishes, fabrics and function — creating a truly unique piece for their home. The D SCALE Collection of upholstery and case goods are made locally in New England and are complemented by Italian leather upholstery by Polaris, contemporary Brazilian case goods in exotic finishes like horn and leather from Emporio Beraldin along side a mix of mid-century modern vintage furniture. Peppered in are hand selected furniture pieces, decorative accessories, pillows, and art glass by small artisans from all over the world. D SCALE strives to offer exclusive and unique items to help you furnish your space. Retail and trade clientele.
History
Established in 2007.
D SCALE Modern Furnishings was founded by award-winning interior designer Dennis Duffy, who while designing for his own clients, often found that it was easier to design a desired item to fit a particular space, than it was to search for it. And now through the D SCALE collection of modern furnishings, those same custom capabilities are being offered to both retail and trade clientele.
