I would rather not order my favorite shoes over the internet. I would rather not have to wait for an online sale, and sleuth out opportunities for discounted shipping. I would rather mosey down to Copley Mall, pick out my favorite shoes from the newly expanded racks in this newly expanded shop and be done with the errand. But the consistently disaffected service I receive at this shop keeps me at bay. I have strolled through the shop(both the former, smaller one on floor 2) and the new one more than a dozen times. Rarely have I received a kind greeting, and asking for a size is usually as much fun as a visit to the Department of Motor Vehicles. I am not a high-maintenance customer, I usually know what I want before I come in and I am always very patient when there are other customers in line. I do like to be acknowledged, though, and probably tend to spend more $$ when I am!

I really like this shoe store. At least it’s a little out of the mainstream unlike NineWest and Aldo. Some of their styles can be a little frumpy and old-fashioned, but they also have some great trendy styles — and the low prices are the best part! I actually just bought a pair of brown suede pumps with gold trim for $ 30…doesn’t get better than that!
