Louis Vuitton Boston Copley

Their customer service is really good walked in and got helped right away every time. I remember came one day of tax free weekend got two bags but they didn’t give boxes. I’ve also ordered online several times and it came within 3 days with box and receipt.

I usually purchased my items online because I don’t have time to commute over to the store. Walked in one afternoon and was acknowledged with a friendly smile and greet, store was crazy busy and it was snowing out. Waited in line for about half an hour before being approached by a snobby SA who left me to fill something out real quick and never came back for me — she went to help other customers she said. Was in a rush so I dropped off my customization form with the friendly SA who happened to be at the counter at the right time (with the glasses and dark curly hair — couldn’t catch her name I’m sorry) but she was very helpful and compassionate towards me. I would recommend going to her for assistance.

I definitely made an impulse buy yesterday and found myself in this LV store. I knew I wanted an everyday bag that I could dress up but also dress down with jeans and sandals too.
Keep in mind, I’m not new to LV so I already knew the styles I was interested in. Theiran was the SA that helped me and she was awesome. She is around the same age as me (I think) so I felt like it was easier for me to talk to her. She brought out several different styles before I chose the Neverfull GM. Theiran was really patient and sweet with me and I didn’t feel rushed at all.
After choosing my new baby I also took a look at some slgs. It was a great experience overall!
I also have to add that I was just coming from work so I had a normal non-​label peacoat on, a cashmere sweater, jeans, my Kate Spade purse and cute slip on sneakers. My clothing did not indicate that I had $$$$ but when I walked into the store I was greeted and immediately helped. I really take that into account when shopping at luxury stores because sometimes I do look like shit but am ready to spend a lot of money and will not be given the time of day! I shouldn’t have to wear all my designer labels to get some attention. So, this LV store got some points for that. I’ve been in several locations where I’ve received little to no attention from SAs unless I’m carrying my most expensive bag.

I purchased a gaston LV mens wallet for my son for Christmas. This was one of 2 gifts for him. He is a young adult. When I was at Copley in November I tried to purchase it for him however left very displeased after the staff (3 of them) did not know what I was asking for. Not only did they not know their merchandise, they made NO attempts to look the wallet up on the Internet or to try and locate it for me from another store. I returned home to Baltimore and visited the Towsontown, MD store and purchased the wallet. Gave it to him for Christmas, however he did not like it and attempted to return it to the Copley store, the location where he lives. He returned the wallet on January 2^nd but since it was outside the 2 week window for refunds (by 1 week) they would only issue a credit for store. The Towsontown store was much more customer friendly and realized that not all gifts were purchased the last minute, and did say they would issue a refund if he did not want the wallet within a reasonable time after the holidays. Moral to the story… Stay away from this store! They not only don’t know merchandise BUT are very inflexible when it comes to returns following the holidays. Carmen you are a very POOR representative for the company and RUDE! Thank you for making our Christmas VERY UNPLEASANT! Oh, and by the way I will NEVER shop your store again or recommend it to friends or business associates!

West Markarian: the #1 best sales associate of any kind, anywhere. I have never met any store employee who can beat him. His communication, knowledge, and, ultimately, kinship has made me reevaluate what clienteling can be. Every person who is in the Boston area must seek him (and only him) out. You will not be disappointed. It doesn’t get better than this. Game over.

I must begin by saying Boston is one of my favorite cities and Copley is the most beautiful shopping place. I have always wanted a new Louis purse, after years of buying used goods in consignment stores I decided it was time to treat myself. The Louis Vuitton store in Copley is absolutely beautiful. Gorgeous tasteful displays, beautiful lighting. My friend and I were immediately greeted by Amy and we started to look at all the wonderful goods. I was immediately taken by a BB Alma in the monogram canvas. After much deliberation I decided to purchase it. The sales experience was wonderful, and I love my purse which will, get plenty of TLC. I highly recommend this Louis Vuitton store for their terrific sales people, attention to detail, and welcoming manner.

It’s not easy selecting the right bag for yourself especially when it comes with a pretty hefty price tag. I ended up choosing the never fill MM which I love!
Yaris, one of the sales associates at LV went above and beyond to make sure all my question were answered and that I was happy and content with my purchase. She’s approachable, friendly and will give you her honest opinion!

Felt welcomed by Samia right as we set foot in the door. Helped us pick out a great Birthday gift for Princess Sweet 16. She was very patient in showing us all the options, as teenagers become more picky as the years go by.
This store is well stocked with the latest LV bags, luggage, and accessories. It’s comparable to other mall LV locations, but the service here is top notch.
I will definitely be back again next year!

The manager, the short little guy who’s latino was one of the rudest people i’ve ever met, i coudn’t believe it, he gave me total elevator eyes and was like «what are you doing here?»

Purchased my three Damier bags at this location. This store, by far, is my favorite store in MA. I felt I’ve always been recognized, and treated well. Most recently, I praise LV because of the complimentary repair on my Porte Documents Jour (which is a year old this month), performed in late September. I’m very happy with the service!

I absolutely despise this location.
I’ve worked in high end retail for some years and I’ve never been to a store with such terrible customer service.
Prices and products excluded, this location has THE WORST customer service in all the Louis Vuitton stores I’ve ever gone to.
It doesn’t matter if you actually have the funds to blow at this place or not, unless you look the part, they will never pay attention to you and make it impossible to get their attention.
I find that they boarder line discriminate towards non-​tourists as well. I’ve walked into this particular location wearing the exact same outfit speaking in English and in Japanese. I didn’t get any assistance when I was speaking in English, but the second I looked like a foreigner they jumped onto me.
There are plenty of other stores. I will not be bringing my business to this particular establishment.

I must admit I was down right scared to go into the Louis Vuitton store with my vintage LV cosmetic pouch. I had heard how rude and obstructionist the sales associates and managers could be at other locations.
But the sales manager (whose name I forgot) and the client advisor, Irina Granci, were nothing but friendly and helpful. A few of the client advisors were very impressed with my vintage pieces, making me feel more welcome. When I initially balked at the repair cost, Irina even suggested a non-​LV fix. I left to think about it and came back. By then Irina was busy with another customer. But again I was treated to friendly and helpful service by the initial sales manager.
It sounds like the prior rude manager has been replaced and the location is living up to the positive aspects of the LV reputation. I hope this is true.

First off, at upscale brand stores, I can say that service will either be a hit or a miss due to the almost dictator-​like power each associate has over our assumption that the «earth resolves around me and only me».
Luckily, I’ve never had a real negative experience just yet where the service was very rude. Yes, I’ve had to wait for an associate to be done with a 30 minute long sale at times before I can even utter a word to them. Yes, I’ve had associates ask me if there was anything I was interested in looking for, and when I give the generic «window shopping» answer, have been brushed off like a fly. But hey, that happens, so nothing really negative to say just yet.
Overall for this review, let’s talk about a repair experience I had with my beloved pair of LV sunglasses at this store. Let’s just say it started off as a 2-​star review, and is ending at a 4. Pretty good jump eh? Here’s the story:
You have these amazing glasses that are unique, stylish, and costs a pretty penny (plus your soul). So you treasure it. A year or two pass by, and lo and behold, a screw falls out and lands in the grass. This pops out one of the lenses, and THE WORLD STOPS. You cry like you’ve never cried before (internally, because on the outside, you gotta look cool and chill), and frantically get on your knees to look for that tiny ass screw (but in real life, you stoop to one knee slowly, and casually look for the screw, cause you know, you gotta look cool and chill).
Eons later, you give up — the screw is as lost as a balloon when you let it go into the open sky. Watching it float away. As it gets smaller. And smaller.
So, you drudge your way to the store, wincing as you ask «How much to get a screw and repair my sunglasses?» You hope for a low two digit number — it’s a damn screw after all.
The associate smiles, and says they’ll take it in and repair it at no cost.
REJOICE. Your pitiful life is saved. So, you leave your contact, and skip out of those glass doors.
TWO MONTHS LATER.
No reply. You contemplate calling, but you hesitate to be the one that calls first after the date. (In reality, it was winter so you kinda forgot about it). But how long is too long? Two months is too freaking long, you settle. And the day when you tell yourself you’ll call and give them the most angry customer call you can muster despite being a humble, earth-​loving hippie, you get a call back from the store.
«Hello, we just wanted to let you know that we cannot find a replacement screw to repair your sunglasses.»
WERSDGJSDFMGDFGSDF WHY DID YOU KEEP IT FOR TWO MONTHS? (You remain silent as the anger rises)
«However, to apologize for the long wait and our inability to make these repairs, we’d like to offer you a new replacement.»
Halt. Gather anger into box. Put into rocket. Shoot into far away galaxy. The anger dissipates into nothing.
Um… Say wha? New sunglasses? New 2015 model? Because a screw fell out of my outdated one? YES PLEASE.
So, expect a roller coaster of a ride, as again, service can be spotty and at times frustrating, but at the end of the day, they’re LV. You’re not paying a premium just for the goods, but also the exceptional service… if they choose to do so. So, lesson learn — be patient, be pleasant (even if you feel Hulky inside), and be reasonable with your expectations. If you do that, you’ll get more than you bargained for.

I love going to the copley lv more than the natick lv.
copley lv is well trained. the employees treat the lv bags like its theirs. the employees will give suggestions and put friendly attitude. I always get serve few minutes after i walked in.

natick lv need to learn from the copley lv. the employees does NOT treat the bag likes its theirs. When i see them putting or should i say throwing the bag on the counter, i was debating if i should even get it since you don’t treat the bag that i want nicely. Also i don’t get serve as fast as the one in copley. I actually have to stare at the employee and they start asking if i need help on anything. LIKE SERIOUSLY, i give the $$$ not to just buy the bag the services actually affect my mood to buy it or not too.
Even though i have to pay for parking at copley, i rather go to copley then getting free parking at natick.

This is one of my favorite Louis Vuitton’s. I adore the one in The Shoppes at Caesar’s (Las Vegas) and I am a «frequent flyer» at the one in King of Prussia (outside of Philly) … but something keeps bringing me back here.
Foremost, it is set inside Copely Place which is a fantastic place to «beat the heat» if you have spent the day shopping on Newbury Street (lots of security, fabulous stores, and several exciting places to pick-​up a quick bite in the adjoining building).
The customer care here is par excellence. Like all LV’s they only want happy customers. There is zero pressure to buy … which makes the customer feel very much at ease.
I fell in love with a ridiculously expensive pair of sunglasses here recently. I had to do the old «I’m going to walk around and think about it» move … because I actually had to walk around and think if I could ethically justify buying a pair of sunglasses for over $ 700.00 with tax. (I usually buy Chanel … for about half that price!) So, I went to lunch with my brother and boyfriend … and then headed back. I couldn’t imagine leaving for home without those amazing sunglasses. When I reentered the store, the representative gave me a big smile and said, «Looks like you’ve made up your mind.»
I just adore this LV and the people who work here! Know that they provide an exceptional experience to their customers, know that there is never any pressure, and know that I have never (ever) seen an attempted up-​sale here (why would they have to? It’s LV!)

The young lady who helped me at this store was an absolute sweetheart and I actually wish she worked at one of the LV stores near me.
I had been wanting a particular bag for a while and I thought about purchasing it in Las Vegas where I live, but since I was going to be in Boston anyway, I figured I’d buy the bag at the Louis Vuitton store where I had purchased my very first LV bag in the 90’s.
The sales associate who helped me was actually training another sales associate, showing him how to present the bag and how to place the straps.
The only thing I was disappointed in was that they only had two left in the style I wanted, so I made sure to check and double check the bag from the straps to the hardware. It would have been nice to get a fresh bag from the back but I was still happy with my purchase. They also forgot to include the price tag in the bag which I didn’t notice until I got home later that night. But next time I’ll make sure everything is in the bag before I leave.

I love this store. I felt like a kid who got lost in a candy store whenever I visited this LV location. The store is huge with wide selections of men and woman merchandise to choose from. The services was great. After I browses through the store about 10 minutes a lady approaches me and asks if I need any help. She was very helpful and friendly.

Pricy items but short on customer service. Placed an order for handbag to be shipped to my business as I wont be home to sign for it, order was confirmed and later cancelled because they refuse to ship to my address. When I called I was told that they wont ship to high traffic business area. I explained that I receive all my high value items at work because they require a signature and that my home address will not work as I work full time. They had no concerns for my situation. now I have to take time off and travel to next store to pick up.
Why does Louis Vuitton treat their customers like thieves? Why they cancel the order after confirming it? It is not fair to place the burden on customers to travel to store when they can place their order online, this was for $ 1500 hand bag that I am now considering canceling all together. The missus sports a new Louis courtesy of this joint (and the roughly $ 70 in savings that the MA tax free weekend allowed). My criticisms of the store are skewed down slightly as the tax amnesty weekend brought scads of people who couldnt afford a trip to the dentist, or deodorant, yet could afford to drop a G note on brand whoring. My previous trips have been slightly more refined– yet I have never been wowed by the staff’s approach to customer care. I am of the mindset that if you sell a commodity whose sole value is artificial prestige, than you should treat the rubes falling for this gag with tinkerbell care. They dont– they are more standoffish than abjectly rude, sort of «eh, we dont care if you a drop a stack on our wares– you are still beneath us». I mean, granted, it is Louis– but it is still retail. I dont disparage that, but acknowledge your place in the socio economic totem pole– you aren’t the Dukes and Duchesses of fucking Richslingston. Not that Dukes and Duchesses should act uppity either, but, well– you get my point.
Still — all in all– not the worst offender of this trend (ahem, Hermes) but not ideal.
Good selection, nice layout, etc. To be cliché, it is what it is, and it is that well.

My grandmother gave me her two LV purses. The style is current and the leather is in excellent condition so I was super excited to receive them. However, one of these vintage delights had a tear on the side and the other had a broken tack (it was saved inside a pocket) that holds one of the handles in place.
Wanting to take care of these heirloom items, I contacted LV to ask about repairs. George was so helpful telling me LV would take care of me either by repairing the purses or sending me to a preferred cobbler. This is key because LV purses cost $ 2,000 or more so your «investment pieces» should be repaired by someone you trust.
After a 20 minute drive, I made it to the LV store at Copley Center. I asked for George and was given not-​so-​great Allen. Allen barely looked at the purses and cattily said LV does not repair anything after 10 years. I asked Allen about the preferred cobbler and he said the store doesn’t recommend one. I figured Allen for an idiot so to save time I asked for George. Allen said George works in customer service and does not work in the Boston store.
I called customer service and got snarky Jacqueline. Jacqueline, who I can just imagine down to her troll hair, couldn’t give me LV’s or LVMH’s (the owners of LV) standardized policy on repairs because it is at the discretion of each individual store. Discretion means an idiot and an troll can choose or refuse to help an LV client and there is nothing the LV client can do except to never shop at LV again. Buyer beware.
Since LV wasn’t going to repair my LV purses or send me to a preferred cobbler and I drove 20 minutes for nothing, I asked if LV would at least validate my parking for the misunderstanding. The LV store refused unless I made a purchase. After I stopped laughing, I asked Jacqueline why would any self-​respecting person make a purchase from a store that chose «at their discretion» not to help them? She (and later George) gave me a lot of apologies which really ticked me off because, let’s face it, apologies without solving the problem is really just a nice way of saying f$#k you.
On the way home, I stopped at a cobbler and he quoted me $ 25 total to repair the tack and tear on the two LV purses. Yes, I had to get «any old cobbler» (as Allen put it) to fix what was sold as the epitome of craftsmanship and high standards. On a side note, I’ve never had any problem with Chanel, Prada, Gucci or Coach so I don’t know why LV would act so, well, ghetto.
Until LV can repair their products and give better customer service, your money is better spent on other designers. Besides, the best copies of designer purses I have ever seen are LVs. Better to spend $ 30 to $ 100 on a fake whose quality and customer service you don’t have to worry about then $ 2,000 for the real thing that makes you feel like a real sucker afterwards.
