I called this Co. Based on there positive review to move my vintage bedroom to an storage unit. No wonder they have five stars! They were on time and fast, very professional and super careful. They surely exceeded my expectations and I am grateful for that.

Had to move from a third floor apartment to a first floor apartment. The catch was the apt I was living in my parents and I has been living in for over twenty years so you can imagine how much crap had been accumulated over the years. I looked on Unilocal and decided to go with A plus moving because of all the great reviews.
We moved today and I can say that even though moving is stressful these guys did a great, fast job. Four guys came to do what I think was a tough job with all the things that we had. They moved fast, took apart a huge and heavy bedroom set like experts, and they were friendly and funny as well so they made the whole process easy.
The price was great as well we had budgeted $ 1000 for the move but came out to less than $ 800. We bought them lunch and gave them great tips as it was well deserved. If I ever need to move again will definitely go with A plus moving!

I barely write any review on Unilocal,but I would love to write something for this awesome moving service! Moving cross state from Boston to jersey city is stressful after all the agonies and pains dealing with other logistic issues and services, this moving service is the only part that actually makes me perfectly happy and stress free. The moving guys (Roberto and Emmett) are friendly, professional, quick and careful. And their customer service after the moving is also very pleasant, and you can easily address any concerns or issues you had and you can feel that they are trying to give you their best helps. I would highly recommend this service to anyone I know !

I used A Plus Movers last weekend for my move after a few family recommendations. The guys were great and very respectful at all of the stops on the move. We had 3 guys and 3 different locations and it was all done in about 5 hours. Price was right, guys were great and I couldn’t ask for more. I will happily use them again when we find our permanent home!

We used A-​Plus moving again for our out-​of-​state move to Connecticut. And again, they did a great job. This time I used a Unilocal coupon and received a $ 50 discount. They still offer 10 free small boxes and a 5% discount if paying in cash.
Two movers came right on time in the morning, packed the truck quickly (about 1.5−2 hours) and methodically, and found our new apartment without an issue. They then unpacked just as quickly as they packed and placed everything where we asked. My only gripe would be that some of our items weren’t wrapped in plastic so a few pieces were dinged up. But when I emailed A-​Plus to notify them about the damaged pieces, they were quick to offer a small refund to help with damages.
Overall, a solid, reliable company with excellent customer service.

I had never used a moving company before using A plus, so was slightly skeptical. I could not have been happier with the A Plus team’s work. Charlie, Mario, Harold and Antoli were incredibly fast, professional, careful and had a great sense of humor! I could not recommend using the A plus (and these four guys!) more. I will absolutely use them for my next move.

I was a bit hesitant about hiring a moving company because I’ve not had the best experience in the past but I’m so happy I decided to use A-​Plus! After a week of calling around for quotes I decided to go with A-​Plus as they were the least expensive and had positive reviews on Unilocal.
Eugene and the other 2 guys (can’t remember their names) arrived about 30mins ahead of schedule and got straight to work. They worked very fast and handled my stuff as if it were their own.
They were very polite and friendly and made sure I was satisfied with everything after the move.
Will definitely use them again when moving!

Charlie, Richard, and Eric came and helped us move this morning and were amazing. They were fast, professional, helpful, and kind. We couldn’t have asked for a smoother experience!

I shopped around for a moving company for about a week getting prices and after contacting at least 10 companies A-​Plus was the cheapest. I originally booked the truck for Monday the 2^nd because I figured a weekday would be cheaper hourly. Then I asked about getting the truck for Sunday and it was only $ 5 more but still cheaper than the competition by $ 15 — $ 20.
Come Sunday morning the guys arrived on time (thought they did initially go to the wrong address). I had (mostly) everything packed in stored in two rooms, I lived in a 3 bedroom apartment but not everything was coming with. The three guys they sent were super efficient and they got done so quickly and I wasn’t counting them to get everything down my third floor walk in such a short amount of time.
When we made it to my new place, I was about 15 minutes behind and so they had to wait until I got there. But By the time I made it they were just waiting for me to open the door and get everything in. They moved everything in and just needed me to point to where things went.
When all was said and done it took 2.5 hours. The only reason I didn’t give them a full 5 stars was because a few dishes got broken and a cabinet was dinged, but not a big deal. I recommend these guys to anyone, I will definitely use them for my next move without question.

These guys achieved the impossible. I had a one bedroom and moved into a U Haul pod. At first glance it seemed like I was going to have to get two Pods but a little teamwork we got everything to fit. They were fast and careful. I am so glad they were there to help me with the 1^st leg of my move plus they were super affordable. Can’t go wrong with hiring this crew!

We used A-​Plus to move our household furniture from a single-​family home in Weston to a condo in Cambridge. The crew of Pervin, Emmet, and Lamont did an outstanding job. They packaged and loaded the furniture quickly and efficiently and even loaded up a garden shed from our backyard. On the unloading end, they carefully backed the 24″ truck into a narrow driveway and then distributed the heavy furniture over three floors in the condo. When they were done unloading, they willingly moved around some furniture that just didn’t look right in its initial landing spot. Best of all they were fun to be around and cheerful for the entire time — about 8 hours. All in all an excellent experience.

I’ve used A plus Moving for the second time this year and they’ve exceeded my expectations again.
Fast and affordable, they just made my life so much easier. This summer we decided to move from a single family detached home into a condo in the South End area. We called A plus Moving with no hesitation, after they moved us during the winter season last year. They booked us within minutes and did a great job again. Thank you kindly for always making our moving hassle free! Highly recommended.

Had a great experience with them on ⁸⁄₄. 2 of us were living in Roxbury, and the other in East Boston, all three moving to East Boston. So we picked up our stuff, my boyfriend’s stuff and onwards to the new place. They were very careful with our stuff and were super nice and helpful. I didn’t realize the backing to my dresser was a bit loose, so instead of moving it like it was he fixed it up quickly for me. They were even there earlier than I expected.
We got stuck in traffic in the Ted Williams Tunnel for about 45 mins, essentially bleeding money for no reason. But they understood and didn’t charge us for the time it would take them to get back to their warehouse in Charlestown which was really nice of them. We gave them a 20% tip — they were very fast, careful and kind.
Some tips for others — make sure your stuff is ready for them to move — nothing loose laying around, nothing in drawers. They give 5% off if you pay cash — boom — $ 20 savings for going to the ATM. Get a moving permit — if they can’t park the truck and you will spend more time looking for a place. Bring these guys bottled water or an energy drink! Moving sucks but they made it wayyyyy easier.

We hired A Plus to load a POD for the first part of our cross town move. The crew of three — including Lamar & Persian were absolutely phenomenal. Friendly, punctual and extremely hard-​working and very capable in their container management skills — so impressive that everything fit!
I would highly recommend them and we’ll be using them again this week for the unload…

Moving with A-​Plus was the best decision I ever made! The team showed up right on time, brought the tools I asked for to disassemble my IKEA bed, were extremely efficient and friendly. The total time for 1 bedroom, including fully reassembling the bed was under two hours. A+ for A-​Plus.

I had never previously used professional movers so was a bit nervous about the experience. I read multiple reviewers and chose A-​Plus Moving because the Unilocal reviewers generally were positive. I requested to have two pods loaded up with boxes I packed from Boston to California. Knowing that the pods would be moved around quite cross-​country, I made to sure to provide lots of extra packing and padding for fragile material.
I had many, many boxes, a dresser, and a queen-​sized bed. There were also some irregular items like a bike and rocker. The head mover, Hector, initially wasn’t optimistic that all the stuff could fit into two pods and asked what stuff I was willing to leave behind. I got nervous but hoped that I wouldn’t have make these decisions. Amazingly, Hector and his two assistants were able to strategically all the boxes and other items into the two pods. It was like a Tetris game.
When we arrived in California and opened the pods hardly any of the boxes shifted around because it was so tightly packed. Nothing ended up being broken although a few of the plastic bins did get bent (lesson to self: use only cardboard boxes to pack).
I would have otherwise given A-​Plus Moving five stars but they did not return two of my phone calls when the movers were late beyond the time window they were expected. As a consolation, the wrapped my dresser for free, which was something I had not planned on doing but am glad that they recommended it.

My husband and I got a recommendation from his brother to use these guys. He just moved from the North End to Charlestown, and said these guys worked quickly!
Well, he was right! We moved from Cambridge to Dedham last weekend. Three movers showed up on time. They went over our names, new address and did a quick walk through to see our items we had to move.
They packed our two bedroom apartment in about and hour and a half (including half a garage too)
They found the new place just fine, and unpacked our items. They listened and asked when they didn’t know where any of the items should go.
We suggest to pay in cash to get a bit of a discount. Also, we suggest grabbing the guys a few waters or Gatorades if it is a hot day. They worked fast and made our more beyond easy!

I’d give them 3.5 stars so I’ll round up. You get what you pay for. We got a $ 50 Unilocal voucher and took them up on their % off if you pay in cash so this move was on the cheaper side. With that said, there were marks on the walls (which most came off with some soapy water and elbow grease) and dings in our furniture. They did crack our glass aquarium but they did give us money back towards a new one.
These aren’t men who are going to handle your things with white gloves but they were nice and quick moving. If you are particular or if you have fancy, expensive furniture, just watch them like a hawk when they load your things into their truck. I can’t complain too much as i don’t have a huge connection to my fine IKEA wares.
These guys care about their business and will definitely follow up with you in a very professional manner on any issues you may have. I would book them again.

When A Plus is not enough, you call A Plus Moving !! Such a pleasure to work with them ! I had to move some furniture from Boston to New York and everything was perfect, from the minute I booked the job, till they brought the furniture in
