Do not waste your time. Had the worst service ever. She acted like we were intruding on her time. She took our order and in the middle she walked away while I was still speaking. I ordered a sweet tea, and they served me some awful concoction, to say it tasted like soapy dish water would be putting it nicely. So I asked if I could have a water, and I had only taken a sip of it. We waited fifteen minutes for a grilled chicken sandwich and a chicken salad sandwich. She had missed me saying extra crispy French fries so when they came out they were mushy. And she took my plate and left my sandwich in the window while the French fries were cooking. Finally seven or eight minutes goes by and I get my French fries and my sandwich. She never came to ask if anything was ok, I’ve had better conversations with my dog. So she sets the check down at the same time as my sandwich, which is one of my pet peeves I feel as I can’t even enjoy my sandwich. So I take a quick glance at the bill she not only charged me for the tea but for grilled onions on my sandwich. So I asked if the charge for 2.25 was for the tea, she said yes and reached over my sandwich while I’m eating to grab the bill. So she gives us the bill and we go up to pay, we have a groupon. So she takes my phone does the bill and says that all coupons they add 18% which is not in the groupon. And my mother says«no it doesn’t say that.» So she grabs the money we had out to pay for the remainder after the groupon and says«fine do whatever you want.» Thanks sweetheart we will, and will not be returning to this place EVER.

I gave it 4 stars even though I have never been. My boyfriend and son go almost everyday for breakfast. I’ve seen videos of them eating lol My son is only 2. They enjoy their father and son bonding time there.

Food is OK. Although I’m pretty sure I got food poisoning there a few weeks ago. On the other hand the service stinks. They never staff enough servers. And the servers they do staff are really not very aware of the fact that the customers come first. They check their cell phones, chat with each other over stupid things, and sometimes even hover over one customer while many others need coffee or food. The place needs updating too. The décor reminds me of the 1970s, but not in a good way.

If I can give this place 0 stars I would. Food is disgusting, place is disgusting. Service is terrible. My family wanted to try a new breakfast place so we finally remembered this spot. We waited 10 mins to get a drink with 2 waitresses on a sat morning. Food came out quick. I ordered a waffle with a side of potatoes how can you possibly think that would be screwed up… My waffle was crisp as a potato chip. That I kindly said I think the waffles over cooked so they made another one… Same kind a waffle came out crisp like a potato chip I said I’m sorry but this one’s exactly the same thing she says I don’t see what the problem is it’s a perfect waffle. ATTHISPOINTIMLIVIDBECAUSEYOUWOULDHAVETOBEBLIND. she continued to say that I never had a Belgium waffle. So she took it away and I ate at a drive thru. My husband got ham, eggs and potatoes. The Ham was from freezer and gross. He couldn’t eat that so ate the rest just to eat. DONOTWASTEYOURTIMEANDMONEY!!! This place is a joke.

Server came right up to our table and took our drink order and food order but never returned. We got our food(minus the side of bacon and coffee) and never had the chance to get someone to stop by to get it for us and then never gave us the bill. After about 10 minutes of sitting with empty plates and the waitress literally leaving the building for a break, we went up to the counter to finally flag someone down to let us pay. Their menu says«where everybody knows your name» but you feel like your ignored when visually trying to wave the waitress down. Not impressed at all.

Husband and I went for breakfast mid-week in October and were surprised at how busy it was. The staff was very friendly and our order was taken and drinks were served promptly. My husband has corned beef hash and eggs over easy-easy with hash browns and wheat toast. Sounded good so I had the same. He thought the potatoes were overcooked but they were perfectly crispy for me. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the hash was good. Toast was a bit dry but I’m sure I could have gotten more butter if I had asked. I took one star off because they had Costco muffins individually wrapped for sale at the counter. It would be better to either bake your own or don’t sell muffins, in my opinion. Worth the price and the time.

I found a coupon for this restaurant. It’s been in business forever, but the location seems unusual in a strip mall about a quarter mile from Federal Highway. Their aim is to be a diner with the corresponding menu. They seem to have a larger breakfast menu. I was there at about 130 in the afternoon and there was actually quite a lot of customer traffic. I was immediately asked what I wanted to drink, & I told her I needed a few minutes to look over the menu as I was a first time visitor. I chose the breakfast burrito with home fries. Not fake home fries, but true northeast diner type home fries. Inside the breakfast burrito was scrambled eggs breakfast sausage onions peppers refried beans and salsa. I was offered sour cream as a side. Across the top appeared to be some sort of cheese sauce and four slices of jalapeño pepper. The ice tea was fresh brewed. Hard to find the waitress for a refill, but I just emptied it as she was walking by. Your seem to be some processing problem with the coupon, but they said if I come back with another that I should let the server know when I order so they can put it in the computer correctly. Overall it’s really a 3.5 star experience, but half a star wasn’t an option on Unilocal, and I couldn’t give them the extra half star to make it four The question on every Unilocalers mind is, would you go back again? I would go back again and even at full price, but if I could get another online coupon, I go back faster.

Unpleasant experience that still lingers on my palate. The hamburger bun had an unusual odor/taste. At first I had thought it was the burger. Substituted it for the grilled cheese sandwich, only to find the same foul odor/taste on the toast. Owner and staff have major tudes. Proper business etiquette is to not argue with your customers when they tell you that food(s) taste spoiled. Smell/taste the bread yourself and convince me that I’m wrong! They are possibly reusing old bread, or storing it improperly with other items. Will not be frequenting this overrated joint again. If not for my coupon, I would have never come here at all.

This hole in the wall grill looks laid back on first appearance but the wait staff is not friendly and are quick to turn nasty on you. Be careful what you ask. They are time bombs waiting to explode. Overall the food is just ok.

This restaurant has a western theme and looks like it has been lost in time. It seriously needs some updating. The two things it had going were fast service and cleanliness. Someone was mopping while I was there and everything appeared to be in its place. I ordered beef barley soup which was probably mush out of a can. I also ordered some fried okra that came out hot. Take down the tacky decorations and Christmas lights and come into 2014.

Have been going here since before they moved to this location. Same owner. Same down on the farm feeling décor on the walls(this is a good thing). Highly recommend the Huevos Rancheros!!! They also make delicious milkshakes.

While my husband & I were visiting his son in Boca Raton, my stepson took us to the Griddle. He’s new to Boca, so he asked his co-workers where a good place for breakfast was and they him referred to the Griddle. He was told it was great, not true! Maybe they lost their great cook… All I can say is the food was not good. My husband’s and stepson’s orders were below average, both had omelets that were flat and overcooked. I ordered their Eggs Benedict. I was immediately concerned by the color, or should I say lack in color, of the Hollandaise sauce. I tasted it and it was bland, no flavor at all. Upon closer inspection of the 2 eggs, one yolk was totally broken and appeared scrambled, the other yolk totally cooked. Needless to say, I had them remove the order from our check. I didn’t order anything else because I’d lost my appetite. If you know of a great breakfast place in Boca, let me know. This was not IT!

This place is a dump. Staff very rude. Cook changes regularly. Ordered a cobb for delivery to my office. When it came, it had everything but the ingredients for a cobb. When I called to advise and request another correct cobb or a refund, the OWNER said too bad. When I explained the cobb didnt’ even have eggs, the OWNER said sorry, but I’m not bringing you an egg, not satisfying you and definitely not refunding you. I paid cash which was my mistake. Too bad for them. I work in an office with over 75 people. Words out. .. no one from my office will order from the Griddle ever again. What you see on the menu is not what you get. They put together what they want and then tell you too bad when your disappointed.

In the mood for comfort food? The Griddle packs solid diner favorites into a strip mall restaurant. With over 10 burgers choices it’s a must try. I decided to have The Rodeo Burger: sliced onion, pressed into the meat and grilled. Then topped with bacon and BBQ sauce. Great way to cook the onion, pressed into the meat then grilled. Really added to the flavor. Kept the burger juicy. They also make solid fries. Could of been a slightly bigger burger but very good flavors! Great find in east Boca off 2nd Ave and Spanish River Blvd.

Classic dinner. Hodge-podge of decorations on the walls and a lot of different tables, chairs, and booths. Each mug I noticed was different, kind of cute. The service was nice and quick and their menu is straight forward. One side was breakfast food, the other was lunch. Portions are normal sized here and prices are good. Cornedbeef hash with scrambled eggs, hash browns, and toast were approximately $ 8. I got the grilled cheese with french fries for a dollar extra. No regrets. The fries were seasoned and extra crispy, the grilled cheese had a blend of three cheeses. Classic dinner food, no huss or fuss.

this place doesn’t even deserve a star. I never have posted a review before but have to let everyone know stay away! Went to this place because i bought a certificate and little did i know i wish i didn’t. We went Sunday at about 11:00. We waited 15 minutes before anyone would even come over to us. As soon as the waitress came over she didnt even say she was sorry for the wait or even say her name. Just asked what we wanted to drink and eat. We ordered. I handed her the certificate and waited. She then came over to me and told me that the certificate was invalid and i must have copied it! I told her i didn’t and that they must have entered the #‘s wrong. She said 3 people tried and it was invalid. I said ok fine i will deal with it when i get home. After an hour passes i go over to the waitress and asked if the food was coming. She said I DONTKNOW! so i go over and ask for the manager. I was told the manager wouldn’t come speak to me! after insisting i speak with her she came over very nasty and i told her about how i been waiting and hour and that i don’t even want to stay since the whole reason i came was from the dining deal. She was very very nasty and didn’t even care or try and make things better. no i’m sorry, nothing! I eat quickly. The food was gross. It was overcooked and cold. Who can ruin scrambled eggs?!? When i get home i e-mailed and told them about the situation. They E-mailed me back right away showing me that they did see that the Griddle did try and enter in the # 3 times but each time entered it wrong! They also told me that when a code is entered wrong it reads the # back to the person on the phone and tells to re-enter. I was so mad. so i called the next day to speak with the manager. I got hungup on 2 times and finally spoke with someone and left a message. They then told me that the manager would call me back the same day. I never got a call back. I will never go back nor will i recommend this place. I think they purposely entered the #‘s wrong. I understand people make mistakes but don’t accuse me, the customer, of lying and then not call me back. Not good business people in this time.
