Front desk was pretty helpful in some ways. Our room was not thouroughly clean and the sofa bed would not pull out. The only nice part is having the water park attached for the kids

We came to use the waterpark and decided to stay at the Big Horn resort to avoid the inconvenience of going outside with small children since it was cold. The check-​in process took forever. We called ahead and requested early check-​in. When we finally checked in at about 3 pm (we were told we couldn’t check in early after we arrived, since the hotel has been full the night before), we were given the room keys and headed up to the room after grabbing our luggage in the car. By the time we got to our room, we found that it was not clean yet, and the cleaning crew was taking their sweet time talking to each other, deciding what they should be doing next. We made sure they knew we were waiting, and checked in with them a few more times to see if the room was ready. Finally at about 3.45 they told us that the room was clean! So all that time wasted that could have been better spent at the waterpark while they were dawdling.
Breakfast was ok, nothing special with standard hotel fare. Rooms were clean and the beds ok. Wouldn’t recommend this hotel. There are other brand properties right around it — stay in one of those instead where they would appreciate your business better!

Big Horn Resort was fabulous to stay at! We came to Billings for a training for work. The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly and the food was tasty. Thanks for the great experience!

The staff at Big Horn Resort are so friendly and helpful, they made check-​in easy and quick! Our room was large, beautifully decorated, immaculate, and had all the extras that make a room feel homey. We appreciated having a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker on hand for late night snacks and early morning caffeine boosts! One of unique extras that this resort offers is the amazing indoor water park. This is such a perfect family friendly location. A bar/​lounge, complimentary full breakfast, a full spa, everything to make your stay relaxing and fun. This is definitely a top notch location for one night or an extended stay. I highly recommend it. I would even spend a staycation there if I lived in Billings!

I stayed here for a week while visiting family for Christmas. Very clean rooms. Great breakfast. The only thing I really have to complain about is it does not have a pool. It is connected to the reef indoor water park but it does not have a pool just for the hotel costumers. You also still have to pay to get into the reef waterpark even tho your staying at the hotel.

Very friendly and polite customer service. The rooms were clean, with comfortable beds and big TV’s. The breakfast was really good!!! Take this next part with a grain of salt — it was a weekend full of children sports competitions – I could hear EVERYTHING from my bed. Even with ear plugs in I knew when doors closed and kids ran down the hallway. Which really blows when you’ve been driving for 12 hours straight and have to get up early! Maybe it’s better when there aren’t a crap ton of children, but the noise issue was close to unbearable. It would’ve gotten 5 stars otherwise.

This place is an oasis for weary families traveling through the Big Sky. Clean rooms, friendly staff and the awesome attached water park make it an ideal spot to land. We are waiting for an offsite room service meal but there is an adjacent steak and chop house and abundant local craft brews in the lounge. U can watch your kids swim through the lounge window!

Stayed for two nights with family for a business trip. Appreciated the gift they had reserved for me upon my check-​in. This was my first stay here. It is very clean and the kids absolutely love it. The staff were very «milk toast» they didn’t seem overly thrilled to say hi or converse with above sub par friendliness. I prefer national chains for their consistency and quality but this place was very good too. Nice they are a part of the choice privileges program. I would stay here again and recommend to friends.

This hotel is very middle of the road. In general I was satisfied but I was not wow-​ed.
HOTEL and ROOM
It was clean. We had a decent amount of space in their standard room. The room came with a microwave, which we liked. It also came with a small coffee maker and a mini-​fridge. A word of warning: to save on energy, their fridges are turned off. You have to turn on the fridge. So I had some food ruined because I didn’t realize this until it was too late. Hopefully you won’t run into that problem. Also, I really like that they had vending machines with drinks and snack foods. We were hungry in the middle of the night, so we were grateful to find a machine with frozen foods (burrito, small personal sized pizza, etc.) you can buy and heat up in your room.
MAID SERVICE
The maid service was a bit slow. Our room didn’t get made up until the late afternoon. This was not a big problem for us, but it’s something you might want to be aware of.
Overall, I would be willing to stay here again, but I don’t necessarily feel like my experience was so great that I absolutely had to.
