Joan Ingram has over 20 years experience in the hair industry. Joan has trained at world renowned facilities such as Vidal Sassoon, L’Oreal, and Redken.

Joan is a true visionary and excels at cutting-​edge men’s and women’s short haircuts. She’s also exceptionally skilled with her ability to achieve long soft flowing layers on mid-​length to longer length hairstyles.

Joan Ingram, a Redken Certified hair color specialist, delivers dimensional color customized to meet her client’s individual needs.

Joan’s most notable clients include Megan Mullaly, Minnie Driver, and musicians Weezer and Scott Weiland. Joan finds her inspiration through fashion, film, music and the art world.

Go see Joan! She gave me an AMAZING haircut and beautiful ombré highlights last week and I can’t stop checking myself out in the mirror because of it!!! She really enhanced my face and made me feel so much sexier! It was a long process, but I felt like a canvas that she turned into a masterpiece!
We totally became best friends over the 5 hours it took to cut and color all of my long locks. She makes you very comfortable with chocolates and mineral water and coffee. She’s got great advice when it comes to relationships and knows exactly what to say to make you feel great about yourself. Do yourself a favor and go see Joan!!!

Joan is truly the best of the best.
From long brown hair, to ombré, to chopping it all off… I can honestly say I have never left her chair feeling anything less than amazing.
She is very easy to talk to, listens to what you what, and has your best look/​interest in mind.
I dont trust anyone other than Joan.

Joan has been cutting my hair since 1997. I have extremely thick, curly hair, and she does a fantastic job with it. Over the years we’ve tried a few different looks and she’s always been able to translate my ideas into reality. Plus, she’s hella cool and has great taste in music. :) Her place is very private and intimate, so you feel quite pampered when you’re there. If you’re looking for a new stylist she’s definitely worth checking out!

I cannot say enough good things about Joan! She is an artist. I knew she’d be a phenomenal colorist as soon as we started to discuss color ideas. She put a lot of thought into it and described what she wanted to do and how it would complement my face. Normally, I can’t wait to get out of the chair but I was completely engrossed in watching her work. She worked very deliberately, used multiple techniques, a couple of different colors for highlights and a gorgeous toner. Needles to say — my hair looks AMAZING! I’ve recommended her to friends and they love her too!

It’s hard to find a great stylist and once you do, you don’t ever want to leave them. Joan is that stylist for me. I’ve been seeing her now for over 15 years. I have long wavy hair that can be frizzy and I don’t have a lot of time to style my hair. Joan knows exactly how to cut my hair and give me a young stylish look without a lot of effort.
Her color is also fantastic. As I’ve gotten older, my hair has lost that luster and shine it once had. A mousy blond is not for me. Joan makes my color shine and pop like it did when I was teen. Thank you Joan for giving me a great style and confidence.

Joan is awesome. She’s been cutting my husband’s hair for 10 plus years so decided to give her a try.
She is very easy to talk to and super talented. I have been going to her for a year now and wish I would have gone sooner.
The first time I went I got a haircut and told her I wanted ombré coloring. She looked at my hair and knew I had a 7 month old at home and suggested doing subtle highlights that would grow out nicely. Thank God she did. It’s been almost a year since she did the highlights and they look natural, give my hair depth and have grown out nicely.
The last time I went to her I sent her pics of a haircut I wanted and she was able to replicate the cut but customize it for my hair type. Once you go to her you’ll feel completely comfortable in her hands! You can tell her what you want and she’ll actually give you her professional opinion. My hair always turns out great when I see Joan. So happy I found her.

I’ve been a client of Joan’s since her days at Delux/​Goodform/​Lather.
Why? First off, she is tops at her craft. No one gives a better haircut or does color better (and she does it all — base, highlights, lowlights, etc).
But perhaps more importantly, Joan is a kind, compassionate and funny woman who wants nothing more than to give you exactly what you want. She has no ego about her. Now instead of dreading getting my hair cut and colored, I look forward to it – which is why I’ve been going to her since 1998.
Also, her new salon looks right over Canon Drive, has great natural lighting, and is close to two Beverly Hills Free Parking garages.
