I came to SE salon of beverly hills few days ago and did sunbray balayage highlights and long layerd haircut and i love the outcome my hair feels amazing with the olaplex treatment and love the natural highlights and i went back today and added few undvidual extenions and got my eyebrows tented and thread and my god love the work and the stylist great job i think this is the best salon in los angeles and i definitely be back highly recomended

I have long black Asian hair and all my life wanted to have a natural blond with out orange tone and no one could bring out the color that I wanted till I meet Shirin. Today I had my second visit at SE salon of Beverly Hills and my god I love the outcome my hair has never felt and look better she did balayage highlights with olaplex treatment and long layer haircut and it feels amazing I can say Shirin is the best hair colorist in Los Angeles. I will be def coming back. Highly recommend

I’ve never had my hair feel so healthy after going lighter!
S|E salon is a suite with city views located on the Beverly Hill’s most famous street for hair, Canon Drive. The stylist, Shirin, has more than a decade of experience, and from the beginning of our appointment, she was very hospitable (offered me chocolate, coffee, water) and listened intently to what I wanted to achieve while giving my honest feedback on what we could do with my hair.
My thick, course, bleached, over dyed (we’re talking black and patchy frizz ball time) hair is often something most stylists become visibly challenged with, but not Shirin– she knew immediately how to cut my hair, and used a technique I’ve never had before, and it looks absolutely amazing and sleek (yes, my poof ball hair looks sleek now).
I expressed concerns with keeping my hair healthy, and softly lightening it to allow the roots to grow out nicely, and Shirin was absolutely fastidious about creating a natural balayage technique and using Olaplex to assure we wouldn’t damage my already damaged hair.
I’m used to seeing hair meltage after any bleaching process (if you’re not aware this happens to everyones hair, just star looking harder when you get lightened), but there was actually none with Shrin using Olaplex. I repeat NONE. Holy blonde y’all. And I was sitting there with bleach on for over an hour. This is a miracle.
It was my birthday and she also brought me the most amazing red velvet cupcake mid treatment (so sweet of her!).
I’m a beauty professional myself, which means I appreciate good work– but it also means that I am especially particular, and I’ve had my hair done quite a bit all over the city. I can’t recommend Shirin enough, she truly works hard to deliver the best results possible.
I also love the ambience of various salon suites on such a nice street. Shirin has the best view in the house, but it’s fun to see lots of people getting their hair done and happy stylists and clients.

Came here to get my light brown hair to something darker and Shirin did just that.

I had a lovely experience with Shirin this morning. She was not only funny and enjoyable to talk to but patient and knew spot on what I was looking for with my hair. I had highlights and she did balayage throughout my hair to give a more natural highlighted look. It feels healthy and turned out beautiful and I could not be happier :)

Love shirin’s work. I’ve been coming to her for years. She does my color, hair cuts and blow drys. She is amazing and I would recommend her to just anyone! Her color is spot on every time. She is on time every time as well so helps with other appointments. Trust me if you go to Shirin you will never go back!

Went here as a walk in on and couldn’t get anyone to help for the life of me.
The location is nice and all, but everything else about the salon and the stylist (who I believe was Shirin) was just very unwelcoming.
After waiting almost 20 minutes just to get someone to speak to me, I was told that she’s fully booked and there was no effort made to get me to come back, reschedule, nothing.
There are so many salons in BH and I know she’s got good reviews but I received much better service and attention at the salon right next door, also high end and beautiful, but they treated me like a valuable potential client when I walked in.
Treat potential new customers better and I’m sure you will leave more people happy, even if you’re «too busy»
Just my two cents.

I’ve been going to Shirin for years and she is great and I drive a long distance to see her. I have very thick long frizzy hair and she know how to cut and texturize it to make it more manageable. She does my cut, color and Brazilian blowout every few months and is very reasonable priced for my crazy hair. I keep coming back because she makes me look and feel my best.

Shirin is a super star. When I read the other reviews I figured that the ones that didn’t appreciate her were people that might be hard to please.
She is awesome. My regular hair stylist is sometimes hard to get a response from. She knows I need to find someone I can count on. I felt this connection with Shirin that she could be trusted to be there for me.
My hair looks great! I am somewhat picky about my hair and Shirin did a great job. I really felt she cares. The salon is set up like a lot of individual stalls with a lot of privacy. It is set up in a way that is very comfortable and allows privacy and fun.
I loved the salon and Shirin. I recommend her wholeheartedly. She is really open and joyful to communicate with also. Of course I love my hair!!! She cut it very well and I am very happy to find someone that is so skilled and kind and great to talk to. She is full of appreciation and a very kind artist.

For the record, I don’t typically write reviews. However, Shirin is the ABSOLUTE BEST and I couldn’t resist!
I moved here 8 months ago and was scared to death I wouldn’t find someone to do my hair. Fortunately, I got lucky on my first appointment. She listened to what I wanted and carefully advised me on how to achieve my desired color. (Rome wasn’t built in a day and neither is getting the perfect highlight/​color unless you are a celeb!)
I love my hair and always look forward to seeing Shirin! She’s not only super talented when it comes to color (and cuts), but honest, real and fun!

Although there wasn’t many pictures of Shirin’s work, I decided to trust the positive Unilocal reviews and book an appointment. I regret this decision because my experience was much like Lauren’s.
To start, parking was pretty difficult. I wasn’t notified that the actual salon has no available parking so I would need to park in a structure. Once I found the salon I searched around the block and by the time I parked in the structure and walked a block to the salon, I was about 20 minutes late. As I got there I saw Shirin and her assistant walking out, they told me they would be right back. I noticed there was dye in Shirins hair, she had decided to get her hair dyed while she’s servicing her clients, uh ok not the best first impression.
I sat and waited another 30 min while she worked on another client that was already there, it’s fine I knew I was late so I didn’t mind. She then turned to me and said, «This is what happens when you’re late haha» uh alright.
So finally I showed her a picture of what I wanted, my hair was already highlighted blonde coming in, however I hadn’t dyed it in 6 months, thus, I wanted to go freshen my color since it was faded and add more highlights. I showed a recent picture of Khloe Kardashian as reference. She didn’t say much so I assumed she understood what I wanted.
She began doing balayage on my hair (the picture I showed clearly had thin blonde highlights all over which are achieved through foils) I didn’t get why she was doing that, but again, didn’t say anything. She then let it sit for about an hour which seemed really long for bleached hair but she said due to the olaplex it takes longer, ok cool. She rinsed my hair and I couldn’t even see the blonde, at this point I’m starting to panic. Then she said she needed to lighten my base, so she did that as well. Finally, she washed my hair and I said «This looks dark, will it get lighter when you dry it?» She reassured me yes. As she’s washing my hair she asked if I want to go ashier and since my hair was wet I couldn’t tell what the color was so I said just do what you think is best to achieve the right color.
Throughout this time she’s talking to her assistant with attitude. You could cut the tension with a knife which became really uncomfortable, especially since her salon is basically a little room so the clients really can’t help but be in the midst of the conversation. Her assistant was really nice, it was so awkward listening to Shirin act like a tyrant. When her assistant expressed how hungry she was (after more than 5 hours) Shirin said, «well there’s another client that still needs to come in so you can eat after that.» I felt bad for her.
Finally, she rinsed my hair and I started to notice that it looked DARKER on top and SILVER on the bottom. I was freaking out so much the assistant said «You look worried» uh yea this looks absolutely nothing like what I asked!
When Shirin was done she asked, «Do you like it?» I said «No, it’s not what I wanted» she then preceded to tell me «Well, I couldn’t get you as light as you wanted cause you’re middle eastern so your hair isn’t like a white girl, it can’t be lightened in one process» UH WHAT!!! MY HAIR WAS BLONDE WHEN I CAME IN AND NOW ITS BROWN WITH SILVER ENDS!!!
I couldn’t believe she had the nerve to blame me for the outcome of my hair color. I was on the verge of tears, I was so upset! My hair couldn’t have been ashier if I had just walked out of a burning building.
I ended up paying 300 dollars for the worst color of my life, an extra 12 dollar charge for using a credit card which she doesn’t inform you about when making an appointment nor have I ever had to pay such a fee at any other salon, oh and 16 dollars for parking.
Absolutely worst experience I’ve ever had at a hair salon. Shirin has no professionalism, no customer service skills, and no accountability for herself.

I never write reviews, but Shirin did such an AMAZING job on my hair. She knew exactly what I wanted, and gave me the best hair color and cut I’ve ever had. I’ll definitely be back when I get the chance!

Shirin is THE BEST! I was looking for someone for a long time after moving here from NY and it took me awhile (8 years) but NO MORE. I’ve been coming to Shirin for about 2 years and I LOVE HER. She is the absolute BEST! With color, she did the greatest job anyone has ever done with my hair– knew hip style & made me feel cool again! With cut, she knows my hair cause I have curly, long hair and A LOT of it– so she knows how to cut with the layers I like and she knows exactly what to do + how I like to wear it. I came in needing a lot of help with style and color and she is so good with this– I can’t be more complimentary here because she’s so hip and so fashion forward with what’s in and what looks good on people that she really does make people look good– she really did it for me and I seriously won’t go to anyone else anymore for my hair.
Not only this but she is really honest– won’t just say things that you want to hear, won’t let you walk out with a terrible dye job or cut. If there’s something you don’t like– she would immediately fix it and make you happy with your hair– she will make you fall in love with it!
She is also super understanding about schedules– I have a tough schedule with work but she always finds time to fit me in and makes me feel very welcome and more of a friend. She really is amazing.
It did take me forever to write this review (ahem, 2 years– but who’s counting) cause I do feel like she’s a hidden gem– I wanted to keep her all for myself:))) once people find this woman– I do think she’ll just blow up, she’s that good! 10 out of 5 stars in my book:))

Shirin was absolutely amazing! I have extremely thick hair that is impossible to work with. She gave me one of the best hair cuts and colors I have ever gotten before! I will def be frequenting her salon after this visit!!:)

I found Shirin on Unilocal to fix my hair color. The first stylist that did my original hair coloring didn’t put a base under highlights so my hair didn’t quite look good with light highlights against black hair. The second stylist I went to in Brentwood colored my whole head over in a lighter base and lighter highlights that made it look orangey. I came back to this same stylist to fix the orangey color and it ended up looking worse! (3^rd time to color my hair in a span of 5 days!)
Thankfully I found Shirin who welcomed me in for a consultation despite her busy schedule. I came back for an appt and she expertly colored my hair just once in a beautiful sombré color of rich brown and ash blonde tones that goes perfectly with my skin tone. I expected to sit in her chair for 4 – 5 hours of color correcting but it only took a about 2 hours! I showed Shirin a picture of what I wanted beforehand and my color came out amazing. She definitely knows what she is doing. I got a lot of compliments from friends and I will definitely recommend Shirin for hair coloring! Did I mention she is hilarious and awesome? I am coming back to get my hair cut by her in a few weeks! Posting my hair color pix up.

I’m definitely satisfied with Shirin’s ability to cut hair! She is super down to earth and a pleasure to chat with while being snipped. I have a very edgy (literally) bob hairstyle and she got it right on. Even my baby doll bangs she perfected! I can’t wait to take my kids to her for back to school! Use her website to reserve a spot. I literally got on at midnight the night before and reserved a 10am appointment for the next day (which was a Sunday). She apparently is also super knowledgeable in Brazilian blowouts. I’m definitively going to her for that soon.

Its been two weeks and my hair still looks great. I would def recommend buying the hair masque. My hair is so thick long curly and frizzy so What took an hour to do every morning now only takes me 15 min yaay! Thank you ladies your the best!

Best salon experience EVER! I came in last week asking for a full dye and cut. I ended up spending 4+ hours in the salon. My hair is naturally pretty dark brown and Shirin dyed it an amazing blonde! (it took a loooong time for the color to set) The color is so beautiful and I couldn’t be happier. She recommended I do the Olaplex treatment with my color. It made my hair so soft and healthy. She also trimmed my hair and is the first stylist that has ever actually trimmed my hair when i ask not cut 2+ inches off. She is super sweet and funny! Her assistant was also great! I will definitely be returning!
Tip: It was a little confusing for me to find her salon. Take the elevator up to the 2^nd floor, you’ll see a sign for Salon 90 210. Her salon is located there.

Best! Best! Best! I always refuse to get my haircut because nobody is able to deal with my crazy thick hair. Everytime I tell my hair stylist to only trim my hair without cutting it short, they failed to do so. However, Shirin managed to do this even without I asking her!!! The most AMAZING experience I’ve ever had.
Also, she’s very responsible. I went in thinking about getting a Brazilian Blowout without knowing much about it. However, after she examined my hair and listened to my expectation, she recommended Oraplex to me, which was actually much much cheaper! And I love the result, so does my hair!
My friends who are not in LA become very jealous of me after I showed them photos of my new hair because they don’t have the chance XD
p. s., Shirin is very funny, so you won’t feel bored at all :)

Shirin is a hair God!
Had my hair done by shirin last week and she is amazing!!! She is extremely talented and will exceed your expectations, and as a bonus she’s sweet and hilarious which made the whole experience very enjoyable.
I came in not knowing exactly what I wanted but with shirin’s advice I have hair that I’ve always dreamed about. While I’ve had my hair done at several high end salons, I never found a stylist that I was willing to commit to until now. Thank you Shirin, you really are one of the best there is!
