Dr. Liu and Luc are amazing. Dr. Liu did Dysport and Restylane on me for the first time and he was very gentle and precise. I never felt rushed and he was very meticulous about each injection. The procedure was fairly painless and I look so much better! I will definitely return to him for additional procedures (including surgery) in the future.
I saw Luc for cheek filler and Laser Genesis and although I was unbelievably nervous and reluctant to do the procedures, he was beyond patient and accommodating. He spent so much time explaining the process and answering all my questions. He put me completely at ease and made the whole experience feel comfortable and relaxing! He definitely is an expert in this field and I would recommend him to anyone who wants to feel refreshed without surgery. The laser was completely painless and I noticed results immediately, which surprised me. I had no side effects and will definitely continue Laser Genesis treatments with Luc. He also gave me gorgeous cheekbones I can’t stop staring at!

I had to get surgery on my tights due to scarring after a really traumatic car accident. Considering how traumatic the entire accident ordeal was, I was very glad that I had Dr. Liu to turn to. He understood what I wanted, and was incredibly kind to me. His office staff was also very helpful and always kept me in the loop about any changes. They worked with me to get approval from my insurance company. For such a complex process, they made it so painless!
Speaking of pain — surgery is never fun, but Dr. Liu made the experience significantly better for me. He was reassuring, and addressed all my concerns about the procedure. The results were great too, considering how messed up my leg was.
I definitely recommend Dr Liu, his skills and professionalism are unparalleled.

I have had sculpsure twice here. Roxy is incredibly kind and helpful in explaining the procedure, and she made me very comfortable. I felt no pain, just alternating warming and cooling sensations. I highly recommend this effective, painless procedure. Scheduling was easy, and there’s free parking in the street in the neighborhood.

My first time at this medical Spa and I had the most amazing facial of my life, I like that the treatment doesn’t just clean your skin, but it goes deep, I have never seen my skin so clean in my life. Very positive experience I’ll come back.

I consulted with Dr. Liu after I was hit by a car biking and sustained significant scaring on my left leg and knee. Dr. Liu took the time to explain to me the cause of my scaring and all of my different options for scar removal. I appreciate his kind and professional staff and how quickly I was able to get an appointment to be seen. I would highly recommend Dr. Liu to my family and friends.

God do I love Dr Liu! I go to him for masseter Botox to make my jaw a little more narrow. He does a great job, it’s always even and I’ve never had any problems or issues. His price is very reasonable, esp for Bev Hills. I think he charges approx $ 9 per unit.
He is also great with fillers. I had a terrible mishap with an IPL at Dr Leaf’s office that melted my facial fat. It flattened the apples of my cheeks and also thinned the tissue that covers the outer part of my orbital bone. I was very distraught over the whole ordeal. I’m terrified of facial fillers because I’m extremely detail oriented and I think many drs are far too liberal with them. I needed a dr that would be very conservative and put the filler precisely where I wanted it. I’ve been to a lot of plastic surgeons offices and I have never had a dr listen to me the way Dr Liu does. I used to go to Dr Kanodia for injectables and while he is skilled as well, he has the attitude that goes along with it. He has pretty specific ideas about what he wants to do to your face and he is extremely rushed. I’m a control FREAK when it comes to my face and I need a dr that will take direction from me, after all it is MY face and I’m the one that needs to live with it. Dr Liu gave me a mirror and let me watch the procedure and actually be involved in the process by showing him where I wanted a little more, etc. No one knows my face better than I do so it was nice to be able to work together like that, especially after that traumatic IPL.
My results were terrific, it was exactly what I wanted, very subtle and I had no bruising. The procedure wasn’t that painful either. My cheeks were a little sore for a day or two but it wasn’t bad.
I’ll admit that I am probably an annoying patient because I ask lots of questions and Dr Liu was so kind and patient, he made me feel very calm and he answered all my questions. These are very rare qualities in a surgeon. Plus he’s Taiwanese and I just love Taiwanese people! The girls that work in the office are all super sweet as well, no BH attitude whatsoever. I’m very glad I found him thanks to Unilocal

My son saw Dr. Liu for a scar revision consultation, and it was a very pleasant experience. His office was incredibly polite and accommodating, even though I was late for my appointment. Dr. Liu is awesome! Not only did he take his time to answer any questions we had, but he was very gentle and compassionate towards my son. He has a wonderful demeanor, never makes you feel rushed, and it’s obvious he truly cares about his patients.

I was hit by a car last year while I was crossing the street. I hit the ground hard and I had scars to my body and face. My lawyer Brian Breiter recommended Dr. Perry Liu and from the start, I could sense his genuine concern for his patients. I always felt comfortable and confident that he could help me. He did everything he could to treat my injuries and explained the process of healing the damage to my face. Some of the scars were extremely deep and dark colored due to my face being smashed into the road. After his work was completed he referred me to a great tattoo removal laser specialist and they are currently in the process of eliminating the remaining scars from my face. He is an amazing doctor and I would recommend him to anyone that is in need of a great plastic surgeon.

Dr. Liu was recommended to my daughter after she was hit in the nose with a beer bottle at a concert that broke her nose. She wanted her nose to look the same as she was fine with the one she had before the injury. My daughter (and myself) were extremely nervous… she had never had surgery before. Dr. Liu is hands down by far the BEST surgeon ever. Her recovery time was FAST & his work was FLAWLESS… not to mention he genuinely cared for her and made her feel so comfortable. Knowing my daughter was in good hands was priceless and she is very happy with the results. I would not send anyone anywhere else and trust him 100% !

I come here to get Botox done on my masseter muscles. It definitely helps the jaw pain from TMJ and slims down my face. After one session I can see a difference, and others have remarked that I ‘look different”. I come back every several months once my jaws start hurting again. I am scared of needles and the pain, but the Botox is no more painful than a «pinch» when injected and is finished only in a few minutes.
I am very shy but Dr. Perry Liu and the whole team is very welcoming and polite. The office is well-​maintained, clean, and comfortable.

I recently went to Dr. Liu for Botox. I am very happy with the result! Being a 46 year old woman, I am concerned about my aging face. I asked Dr. Liu what else I should consider doing, and Dr. Liu said let’s just wait and see how we do with the Botox. He didn’t suggest any other procedures and I appreciated his honest, conservative approach. He then referred me to his aesthetician, Janice. Needing a facial anyway, and dissatisfied with the last one I had at a spa, I made an appt for the following week.
Well all I can say is this: best facial of my entire life!!!
Seriously. Janice was professional, knowledgeable, and cleaned up my face like nobody’s business! My face has never been so «clean» — I like extractions and usually I feel aestheticians don’t do an adequate job. Well, not Janice! I mean I don’t think she missed one pore!!! The price was right and I have been receiving compliments about my «smooth» complexion all week! I can’t wait until I can go back!
Janice didn’t try to sell me products, and she even said don’t get a facial for 2 months because it wouldn’t be necessary to do more! Again, it’s an honest approach that is so refreshing.

Dr, Liu is a patient, efficient, and generous doctor. He did not rush through my appt. and took the time to answer my many questions without hesitation. Further, he went above and beyond my reasons for being there by introducing many different options that are now available.

Dr. Liu and his entire staff are fabulous! I had a breast augmentation surgery done 4 years ago in Scottsdale, AZ and I was diagnosed with a staph infection close to my initial breast augmentation incision. I referred to his office from Cedars-​Sinai ER and had to have both implants removed ASAP.
As devastating as this was, Dr. Liu could not have been better to my husband and I. He got me right in and his staff was in constant contact with me before and after the surgery was done to check in and make sure I was okay. I have worked in 5 diamond resorts for many years and have never experienced that level of hospitality from a Dr.‘s office. I give him my highest recommendation.

I was involved in a car accident and it resulted in a deviated septum and other injuries. All doctors I saw after the accident they didn’t diagnose correctly, they always told me I was right when I wasn’t. Dr Liu was the only doctor who was able to diagnose me right and fixed my deviated septum. Also, let me tell you he’s the best plastic surgeon very professional and compassionate person. I highly recommend Dr Liu 100%

I just went to Dr. Liu’s new offices on Wilshire and was very impressed. From the moment you walk in you are presented with the beautiful waiting area and greeted by the friendly staff.
Dr. Liu has performed complicated reconstructive surgeries for my clients who have been badly injured and disfigured. He is a board certified plastic surgeon, THE HIGHEST ACCREDITATION a surgeon can attain, and he operates at Cedars Sinai Hospital and UCLA Santa Monica.
I trust Dr. Liu with my clients’ well being and care and I would trust him with my own.

I had an appointment for botox with Dr. Perry Liu on a Tuesday. I had a chemical peel Over the weekend so I called his office to make sure that was ok. He said not a problem. I also called the Dr. who performed the Chemical peel just to be 100% sure this would be fine, he also gave me the green light.
I show up to Dr. Perry Liu’s office, we exchanged hello’s he looked at my forehead and got his needle, etc.
He then proceeds to wipe my forehead with rubbing alcohol, which felt like a burn!!! God, it hurt.
He just kinda looked at me and said, «Oh, let me try cleaning it with water»
WTH??? I said to him «that really burned, remember I just had a chemical peel!
Yes, he replied but the area needs to be clean,
I’ll just try using water. I was so upset and he just seemed so non-​chalant about it.
He did not even apologize. I will NEVER go back to this place. Beware!
I now have a slight pinkish discoloration where he rubbed the alcohol, which i HOPE goes away eventually!!!

This review is long overdue. Dr. Perry Liu is an awesome doctor! He is really knowledgeable, patient and personable. I came to see him for major bruxism– my mouth guard and use of stress relief techniques were not working so I had to resort to btx.
I came here because Dr. Liu has experience doing injections in the masseter muscle, I would not go to any other doctor who has no experience in this area! After a few weeks, my jaws and headaches were alleviated and eventually the swelling on my jawlines went down. I am really happy that I went to see Dr. Liu and plan to come back!

Doctor Perry Liu is kind, honest, considerate, and is super helpful and professional. I live in NYC and had two business days in Los Angeles to find a doctor who could inject some Botox into my masseter muscles (for bruxism, or tooth-​grinding at night). Yes, there are A LOT of plastic surgeons in New York City, but NYC does not seem to have lots of doctors who perform this simple procedure for the jawline. LA does, probably because this procedure is also done by many Asians who want their jawline slimmed by Botox injections for cosmetic reasons.
I searched on Google via key words «San Gabriel Valley Botox jawline» and found Doctor Liu’s website. I called and was routed to an answering service, so I left a message. His admin Valerie called back within a few hours. Despite having to play phone tag, she got me an appointment with him at his Arcardia location the very next day. She was super helpful and nice to chat to.
I went to Ann Karen Day Spa, where he spends one day a week. He answered all my questions, explained the procedure, and gave me insight into another procedure I asked about (dermal filler injections.) He said that I don’t need a filler and neither do I need a nose job (something I briefly considered). I found that to be a very honest thing to do, as opposed to certain doctors who will perform any procedure for more fees. I asked about what procedures he also performs, and he explained that he liked working with many Asian procedures such as eyelid surgery, calf reduction, and nose jobs. He was also very good with the Botox needle and there was very little pain.
So the Botox for my jaw bruxism was $ 8 a unit, much much much better than Manhattan price of $ 20 per unit by my maxillofacial surgeon. Afterwards he saw that I was interested in the day spa so asked the staff to give me a tour. I look forward to my follow up visit. I think he’s a doctor you can trust to give you an honest consultation.
Pros: professional, very little pain, honest, very awesome doctor
Cons: his office is actually in Beverly Hills, and he spends one day a week in the San Gabriel Valley area so if you can’t travel West it may be a challenge to get an appointment. However, I got my appointment with very little hassle.
