I have nothing but great things to say about Let’s Have a Cart Party! When our boss decided to throw a margarita cart party with 4 HOUR NOTICE to prep… Let’s Have a Cart Party was a life-​saver. Rachel in the office was quick, professional and kind. She was super helpful and made the entire process a breeze. The cart attendants were great & served the margaritas quickly and professionally. Our margarita party was a huge success & we will definitely book another event with Let’s Have a Cart Party.

Hired Lets Have a Cart Party for my sons rockstar 1^st birthday party. My party planner set everything up and they were great to work with and flexible when I needed things adjusted due to numbers.
Day of party everyone was great except for the waitress who was serving the fresh fruit and veggies. She had the attitude of wanting to ANYWHERE except for serving at my sons 1^st birthday party. All in all they were really fantastic and you can check out images here:

I used Let’s Have A Cart Party for my son’s first birthday party this past Sunday. The carts were such a hit! I had three carts– a Nacho Supreme cart, Mexican fruit cart, and Cotton Candy cart and everyone loved it! They used high quality fresh ingredients and the servers were very nice as well. Thanks so much!

I surprised my husband by having a churro and cotton candy cart at the cocktail hour of our wedding reception. They were a total hit, and everybody said how it was a fun touch. I have some really cute pictures of my grandma eating cotton candy with my little sister. The churros were just the right consistency (I can’t stand mushy churros).
The only downside is that I paid for 2 hours (2:30−4:30). When we had our grand entrance at 4:00, they packed up and left. Most of the people had migrated to the reception area by then, so I understand them assuming it was over… but I still paid for another half hour, and I wanted to take some pictures posing with the carts.

I wanted to have something different than the typical stressful birthday dinner at a restaurant. This year I decided to hire Let’s Have a Cart Party for my carnival themed backyard BBQ and I’m am more than glad I did! This company has an extensive menu to choose from. There are veggie burgers too! I was very impressed with the staff. They were prompt, friendly, and professional. I thought the carts were just going to be something cute with food that was just ok, believe it or not, I thought the burgers were great and if you know me at all you know I enjoy a good burger.
Here is what I ordered:
One cart with pretzels and churros
One cart with burgers, hot dogs, and veggie burgers
One cart with fries and onion rings
I will defiantly use this company again!

We had an event at our dealership and decided to give Let’s Have a Cart Party a try.
We have no regrets! Gavin showed up on time and was friendly and cooperative.
The food was great. Overall we’re very satisfied and would use them again!

Just used them for my twins 1^st birthday party — So many options and selections, yummy food, and reliable service. It’s just EASY to work with them — especially Rachel! They help you create the perfect party, and the cart theme is original, adorable and just so much fun! I’m so glad I used them and will continue to do so! One of the guests at the party said, «This ice cream is the best I ever had!» If that’s not evidence enough, I don’t know what is! Thanks!!!

I used this company for my big Christmas Eve party and all my guests are still raving about the fun evening! They even had a roasted chestnut cart! The food was delicious, the service amazing and the ease made it possible for me to enjoy my own party! We were so happy we used them again for our New Year’s Eve party. We are now planning our Valentines party and Cinco de Mayo. Their menus are scrumptious and every experience is a pleasure! I recommend this company highly and can’t wait for my next party!!!

I used this company a few years ago… but NEVER again! The owner/​manager was extremely rude and not accommodating at all. We ordered food for a certain number of people and expected they would provide it. However, they were very slow cooking things up, they did not bring enough people to man all of the carts, and people had to wait a LONG TIME to get their burgers, etc. When I asked them to just cook up a lot of burgers/​hot dogs, the owner refused, saying he didn’t want to cook them if he wasn’t sure they would be eaten… that he would only cook one when it was ordered by my guest. I was furious! I expect my guests to be served when they’re hungry… not have to wait 10 minutes for their hamburger patty to cook. Then, when it was over, he refused to leave the leftover food that I had ordered, and paid for! I have had many parties catered at my house by many companies, and I have NEVER had them refuse to leave the leftover food. Most of the time they ask me «How would you like us to box up the extra food for you?» He said he couldn’t leave the food because it was uncooked and his insurance company wouldn’t let him leave uncooked foot at a party… so I said «Fine, cook everything!» He refused!!! Keep in mind that I PAID FOR THIS FOOD!!! He would not give me the food that I had bought! I have never had another catering company say this. I asked him for the name of the insurance company so I could talk to them and clarify this, but he would not give it to me. I worked in food service for many years and this is the first and only time I’ve heard of this. Every other catering company I’ve ever dealt with has always left the extra food at the house… because we paid for it!!! My suspicion is that he takes the uncooked food back to his kitchen and re-​sells it, but, of course, I don’t have any way of knowing. I will NOT use this company again.
The owners/​mangers replied to this review wondering why I posted a negative review several years after my event, and also wanting me to call them to discuss my concerns. We did call them, several times immediately after our party… they did not address our concerns at all… they basically told us to shove it (although they did not use those words). I did not post right after my party because I did not belong to Unilocal when it was held (I don’t even know if Unilocal existed yet) so I couldn’t let others know about my experience with this company. But I’m posting now because my kids were recently at an event where this company was serving food, and I was very dissatisfied with their service to the guests. This recent experience demonstrated to me that this company has not changed their ways so I thought I would share my experience and, hopefully, save someone else some aggravation.

I live on the east coast but went to bar mitzvah about 15 years ago in LA catered by this business. And I still remember it as being the most wonderfully creative event I’ve ever been to… and I’ve been to plenty. The staff was professional, everything was spotlessly clean and gleaming, the food was delicious and prepared to perfection. All these years later and I still no other event I’ve been to holds a candle to what I experienced all those years ago. Give them a call, you’ll be glad you did!

The combination of food and service were superb. The phone staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. The crew on site was very professional and did a wonderful and clean job. The carts really made the carnival theme for our event and the food was fresh and perfect. Truly a hit! We’ve attended many events with other vendors and Let’s Have a Cart Party is definitely ahead of it all on all levels. Thank you for a wonderful experience and we look forward to the next one.

Hired them for a party this past weekend and couldnt have been more happy. Originally I figured I would get the novelty of the carts with average food. But it turned out the food was really good especially the fish tacos were a huge hit. The carts added a great novetly to the party. But it additon to those things the staff that came was very professional and really nice and just made the event even better. I would definitely use them again.
