Kourosh Maddahi, DDS

Dealing with these people was the worst experience of all time. I Spent well over $ 120,000 fixing my teeth with Dr. Maddahi on implants and now a little under 5 years I am left with broken teeth and implants. I went back to the office to get help and they wanted to charge me additional $ 100,000. They refused to give me temporary teeth since i couldn’t eat with my broken implants. Horrible customer service and horrible staff. Each time I tried to get in contact with the Dr. He was either at a meeting or too busy to talk to me. Being left with no assistance, poor service and BROKEN teeth I decided to go to another Dr. Who requested my dental records. Dr. Maddahi’s staff notified that they have lost my paper work. I would assume they would be more professional and organised. I was given the run around, and treated poorly as a patient. The staff is highly trained to lie and cover up for the Dr. I have never been more disappointed and cheated in my life.

Went in for a consultation a month ago. The front desk staff were very welcoming. Got a full mouth of X-​rays and then met with the Dr. There are a TON of cosmetic dentists in Beverly Hills and I can say from personal experience, Dr. Maddahi has the best bedside manner of any Dr. I’ve seen. He explained everything clearly and once it was decided that whitening was the way to go, he got me started right away.
My teeth are whiter than they’ve ever been and I couldn’t be happier!

Dr. Maddhai and his staff are excellent. You can trust his experience and expertise whether it is for general dentistry or cosmetic work like veneers, contouring or whitening. His office was able to accommodate me as someone who works long hours, service was outstanding and I would highly recommend him to anyone who wants to improve their smile.

My experience with Dr. Maddahi and his entire staff was wonderful. Also the results of the cosmetic dentistry process was nothing less than astonishing. I am truly transformed and look great.
I had done my research and knew Dr. Maddahi was the best in the business and had a long standing career with cosmetic dentistry. This was very important to as most dentists do cosmetics as a sideline.
Dr. Maddahi knew exactly what he wanted to do within minutes of looking at the digital X-​rays and never wavered. I was truly in great hands from the start. He is an artist, and his confidence and assuring demeanor made the process go very smoothly.
A total renovation is how I describe it. Not easy, but very quick and the results are more than worth the journey. The office staff was super friendly, encouraging, and let me know what to expect. It’s like a fun family atmosphere with them cheering me on. I feel at ease in the office. Thank you all!

Dr Maddahi is amazing. It’s nerve racking picking the «right» cosmetic Dr and Im so relieved I picked the right one. You have to have a Dr that knows what he’s doing and is talented, but also that is COMPASSIONATE because there may be adjustments needed and you want to feel comfortable along the process, and this is exactly what Maddahi is. I was VERY picky w my front four veneers and Maddahi did a great job listening to what I wanted and going back and ‘tweaking’ the teeth to my liking. I probably went into the office 5 times to adjust the length, bite, and size (again I was extremely picky lol) and every time he and his nurse Katia were very accommodating. His nurse Katia played a huge role in my experience there, she is so compassionate and professional, she did a fantastic job at cleaning, teeth molds, polishing, retainers, the list goes on and on. She made my time there feel really great. Not to mention the front office staff too, as they have the best personalities and became my go-​to audience for «what do u think of my teeth!?». At the end of the day, with Dr Maddahi leading this wonderful team, you can’t go wrong and I definitely recommend him for your cosmetic needs.

Dr. Maddahi is awesome and so is his staff. Everyone is friendly, accommodating, and goes out of their way to make sure you’re comfortable.
I have a phobia of needles but Katia holds my hand every time.

just moved back to LA, and forgot that LA is the land of Dentists, maybe 200 on Wilshire blvd alone.
I made an appt. with the office and at first call I knew it was my new home for all my dental needs. They were very caring and listened to what i wanted to get done.
I came in for my appt with Dr. M and he was 2^nd to none, his bedside manner was perfect, and his ability to paint the image of what my mouth should look like and was an experience all on its own. I felt more then at home with his creative dental sense.
I had a LOT of work done, so I really got to know Dr. M, and I would recommend him to everyone. Hell, I already have my whole family going to him.
So if you’re looking for a Dental Genius, then go see Dr. Maddahi.

I have never posted on Unilocal but specifically signed up to let people know what a HORRIFIC experience I had with Dr Maddahi himself. He was unbashedly RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL, RUSHING, INSULTING, DOES TERRIBLE AESTHETIC WORK and seems to only care about money!
I had a large chipped front tooth on a Friday and had a very important dinner meeting in a few hours. I called the first dentist phone # I found on Google bc my normal dentist was not in (good dentist don’t need to pay for SEO or online ads, which I should have known). I politely explained my dire need to have my tooth fixed from this embarrassing chip before my meeting and the girl at the desk asked Dr. Madahhi if he would take me (on short notice) and he said NO.
I told her to tell him I was also interested in getting veneers, and as I expected, he suddenly said YES he was able to take me. (what a surprise).
When I went in, he tried to charge me $ 600 to bond this tiny tooth, when I have always paid a top cosmetic dentist in Beverly Hills $ 150 for it. Clearly he was trying to take advantage of my situation & the fact that I had no choice but to grossly overpay. When I politely asked the girl (who was being told by Dr Madadahi to do his dirty work and come and tell me this inflated price) if she could please at least just charge me $ 300 which is double what I normally pay and less than any doctor charges normally, she went in to ask Dr Maddahi and he said no.
When he came in, he was very unfriendly, annoyed, rushed, and flat out told me he didnt want to work on me (bc he was obviously upset that I politely expressed dismay to his assistant about the overcharge, but I agreed). I almost had tears in my eyes and had to beg him to please keep his word to take me (I was already set up in his chair) and not leave my tooth like this on a Friday night before my meeting (which he already knew about) and knew I would have to suffer this embarrassment of a chipped tooth for the entire weekend.
He then continued rudely and did a TERRIBLE JOB on my bonding, it was a joke! He filed the tooth down extremely shorter than my other teeth and made it horizontally crooked. I couldn’t believe it. It was almost as if he did it on purpose because he was upset with me and in a bad mood, rushing to leave, ANNOYED that he was still there and working on me. That was very clear.
He did not care and when I politely asked him if he could please fix it, he threw a fit and said anxiously «I NEED TO GET OUT OF HERE! I NEED TO GO!» I got up and said he didn’t have to be so rude and he shouted at me «YOU’RE RUDE!» I was shocked. And as I went out to pay my bill he yelled in front of his whole staff so I could hear «Don’t ever let ‘that woman’ walk into my office again!» I was in shock. He treated me as if I was some difficult, unreasonable person which I am not.
My reply to his assistant was «that’s a great way to build positive Unilocal reviews» and left.
Of course, I got a call from his Assistant the next day apologizing to me profusely admitting to me «what he did was absolutely unacceptable» and she wanted to offer me to come have it fixed at no charge. I told her I would never step foot near that office again.
Funny enough, when she called I had a friend in my car who knows him from the community and said he was awful and has a bad reputation.
Finally, as a person who actually is serious about having 10 veneers done, I would warn people to do their homework while shopping for a doctor… when I went in, there was an older lady who just had full veneers done that day and he showed me. They were AWFUL, and thick and round and bulky and did not look natural. Compared to the great work I’ve seen out there I would NEVER go to him for my veneers. I will go to my normal doctor who charges $ 1500 per tooth and does all the celebrities and his work is gorgeous and natural looking.
What an all around terrible experience and doctor.

After reading all of the wonderful reviews on Dr. Maddahi, I decided to give him a try. I usually see Dr. Jean-​Jacques Elbaz, a periodontist, for general check ups and teeth cleanings, but decided to go and see an actual dentist just to be precautionary. I went in today for a teeth cleaning and examination. A had very high hopes for Dr. Maddahi. The office was beautiful and his staff is AMAZING. Everyone from the Sandra Bullock look-​a-​like, to the little Asian girl assistant, to the Armenian or Persian lady who did my cleaning, were super welcoming and awesome. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same about Dr. Maddahi. The whole time he worked on me, it felt rushed and that he just wanted to hurry up and go. As I’ve said before, I usually go to Dr. Elbaz, my periodontist, for cleanings. And Elbaz is the most caring and patient doctor there is. Never rushed and always makes me feel that I am the only patient that matters at that time. After my experience with Maddahi, I left wishing that I had stayed with Elbaz.
I wish I could say that I will be back, and even though the staff is amazing, I am not paying $ 300 to make new friends. I wanted an amazing doctor that made me feel as if he cared and took his time. And I did not get that from Maddahi. Back to Dr. Elbaz I go! I will be running, not walking, back to him to him lol

I wanted to have my veneers done for the past 3 years. They are very expensive and I wanted to make sure the dentist I chose was the best! I personally know a dentist to the stars however I don’t like his teeth, they looked to fake to me. Then I went to Dr Sam Muslin who proclaims to be the best, I couldn’t disagree more. Dr Muslin wanted to charge over $ 40,000 and this wasjusr for my uppers! My teeth are NOT in bad shape. I was referred to Dr Kourosh and I couldn’t be happier. He took so much time with my consultation, he even took the time to put a few temporaries on my front teeth so that I would get an idea of the outcome. D r Muslin wanted an extra $ 5,000 to do that.
I was in and out of Dr Kourosh’s office in two 3 ½ hour appts. Pain free and my teeth are PERFECT, I absolutely love them! One thing I might suggest is that you think long and hard on the color you prefer. The Dr wanted me to go with the 2^nd to whitest, he was certain that I would like those the best. I went with my intution which was one degree less white, I’m so glad I did. They are still very white but look natural.
If you want the best then you must see Dr Kourosh.

I have wanted veneers my whole life and I thought, what better place to have them done than Beverly Hills! I was referred by a well known surgeon in Beverly Hills who is a client at Dr. Maddahi’s practice. I am so happy with the finished product! :)
My whole experience from start to finish was fantastic. The staff at the office are more than accommodating and friendly. From ordering food and smoothies for me, to keeping me entertained during the procedures — this is the most personalized service you can get!
When it comes to the actual work, Dr. Maddahi is truly an artist! He works quickly and efficiently, delivering 5 star results when you look in the mirror! I was a little nervous about the freezing but his gentle nature helped keep me calm during the freezing lol… A lot of dentists have a turn around time of about 1 to 2 months for veneers (based on my research), but Dr. Maddahi had me and my boyfriend’s work done in 2.5 weeks! It would have been sooner, but we were traveling at the time. One more thing, I never felt one bit of pain during or after any of the procedures!
My boyfriend and I both have beautiful natural sparkling smiles thanks to Dr. Maddahi’s anti-​aging dentistry! If you are in the LA area and you’re thinking of getting your teeth done, go see Dr. Maddahi! If you are from out of town, I’m telling ya it would be worth the flight to see this Dr!

Dr. Maddahi seems to be a good dentist, however his staff has a lot to be desired. Daphne continues to mislead people and tries to cover up her mistakes. She says one thing and than the next minute says the opposite. It has taken forever for insurance claims to go thru, in fact still waiting from Feb. 2014, because office staff doesn’t do it and doesn’t care as long as they get there money. Dr. Maddahi wake up and get a better staff. Even your hygienist says inappropriate things to there patients. We were told it is illegal to not have x rays once a year when having a routine cleaning. That is inappropriate and not true and the office actually has some x rays on file, therefore they need to do there homework before they speak. More recently you could of gotton them from the oral surgeons office that you recommended. Two many x rays are not necessary and not even healthy unless there are real issues Your office just wants to add needless expenses to people. I have to give you one star for you staff!

I wanted veneers and got them in a week! They have made my smile PERFECT!!! The facility and staff have me Star Treatment and took very good care of me! They fed me and I will recommend Dr. Maddahi to everyone!!!

The moment I walked through Dr. Maddahi’s door was the moment my life changed. Be it luck or perhaps kismet, my protracted search for a skillful, artful, and refined dentist that spanned almost a decade eventually led me here talking to Dr. Maddahi. He is truly a brilliant man with an equally impressive mind and bedside manner that is evident from the get go. He was receptive to all of my questions and was instrumental to alleviating my concerns and helping me move forward in crafting a treatment plan. His warm heart and genuine interest is absolutely unrivaled. It’s not often that we’re aware of big moments in our lives that will change it forever; that realization is, instead, often made in hindsight. But here, I was completely aware of the leaps and bounds I was making with Dr. Maddahi and his staff, and to this day, almost 4 months after finishing my treatment, I’m still left in amazement by his work. He is a dentist and an artist who has clearly perfected his craft.
In addition to his world class craftsmanship and genius, Dr. Maddahi has also managed to assemble what is arguably one of the best supporting staff I have ever seen or worked with. Meagan was my point person from the very beginning, coordinating my care and making sure everything fell into place. Her dedication to her work and ability to ensure that things get done is truly spectacular. Equally remarkable, Katia and Daphne provided the hands on expertise alongside Dr. Maddahi. Their compassion, affable disposition, and warmth were all at once comforting and reassuring.
Without a doubt in my mind, without reservations, without any fine print, Dr. Maddahi is the man you want in your corner. Moreover, Meagan, Katia, and Daphne are the ones you want coordinating your care. My experience with Dr. Maddahi’s office was and continues to be a truly remarkable one. I hope this review helps those searching for what I had been searching for. The moment you meet Dr. Maddahi, you’ll see what I have been talking about and realize that the effusive praise here doesn’t even begin to capture the entirety of the experience.

Dr. Maddahi and his staff are wonderful. First his office is beautiful and you are greeted by his receptionist immediately. I have always been taken into an examining room promptly and the dental staff gets started right away. Everyone there goes out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Dr. Maddahi is such a caring man, he really listened to me and went out of his way to make sure I was happy. I had some major problems and had been to other dentists that could not help me. Dr. Maddahi has state of the art equipment and because of that, he was able to fix my dental issues.
I highly recommend him.

I’ve never felt comfortable going to the dentist but these guys helped me feel at ease. I had a cleaning and a couple fillings done yesterday. I hate needles and the doctor used a laser to numb my teeth instead. The dental hygienist noticed I still had bonding from my braces on one of my teeth since the year 2000 ! What would I do without these guys? My mom had dental work done here as well. We are both extremely pleased with them. Thank you so much!

I went to Dr Maddahi for teeth whitening and a consultation to improve the look of my smile. He was very attentive and sharp. I especially liked that he now has a iPhone app so u can reach his office without having to look it up on the net.

I have been going to Dr. Maddahi since I moved to LA two years ago. I had my first checkup with him, and I was instantly at ease in his presence.
His James Bond level of dental equipment detected a couple issues my previous dentist had failed to see. When I was in the chair preparing to receive the treatment, I noticed I was cringing in anticipation, expecting the usual pain I have always had when visiting a dentist.
It never came. There was no pain. Dr. Maddahi is a swift, efficient dental ninja who silently and swiftly came and went virtually undetected!
I have never previously seen such confidence and competence. The zen master of Dentistry, friendly, caring, and all-​knowing (or at least in the dental world!).

I went to Dr. Maddahi to get some cavities filled and the experience was amazing! I have NEVER had such a pleasant experience at the dentist! He was very quick, gentle and totally informative of what was going on and what needed to be done. His staff were friendly and attentive and the office was very clean and calming. It honestly looked more like a spa than a dental office! I would recommend him and his services to anyone and everyone.
