Beverly Hills Institute of Aesthetic & Reconstructive Surgery

I came to The Beverly Hills Institute to try the Dermaplane Resurfacing Facial. I just newly discovered such a treatment existed. It’s similar to the Microdermabrasion except it’s a slightly more effective because they use a surgical knife to shave off the top layers of the epidermis. I liked how the esthetician Vanessa was very friendly and willing to answer any questions you have. Hearing surgical knife sounds scary however the treatment is quite comfortable. She’s considerate of what you want and will ask you if you’d prefer to have your baby hair shaved off as well or left untouched.
I scheduled another appointment in 5 weeks which is the recommended time between treatments. This service can take the place of microdermabrasion treatments if your getting that on a monthly basis.
*** 5 Weeks Later ***
This will be my second visit here at The Beverly Hills Institute. Once again Vanessa was my esthetician. They called me in the morning of the appointment to ask if I can postpone my service 30 minutes later, I said, «sure no problem» and asked if I can have the service with 7 new pimples that magically appeared overnight. She was happy that I asked and said that I should still come in for the Dermaplane Resurfacing on areas without the pimple and she’ll do the Brightening Peel on areas with the pimples to kill the bacteria.
As promised that’s what she did. I was happy that she was so acommodating of my skin situation. During the service, she was very attentive and made sure to scrap all areas on my face possible. Then she finished off with the Brightening Peel. She performed two layers which will sting while it’s wet. As soon as it dries the burning sensation disseapears with it. One thing I’d like to mention is that Vanessa is quite a sales person. Both visits she would push products which makes me a little uncomfortable. The first time I was able to stay firm and say no to the products she recommended. The second time however, because she was so attentive and did such a good job I caved and said I’d purchase the pimple spot corrector. To my surprise it works well.
Last Words: The Beverly Hills Institute is a good location to have the Dermaplane Resurfacing Treatment done. Vanessa did a very thorough job and I left satisfied with the surface. I cannot comment on the Brigthening Peel because I’m not positive if it’s effective or not.
