Motivated by a family tragedy at the early age of 8, Dr. Hovsepian decided to become a plastic surgeon. In his own words, he chose to become a plastic surgeon because, «plastic surgery lets me apply principles and techniques to give people a new start in life.» His perseverance and tenacity took him through his Bachelor in Science degree at the University of California, Irvine, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and led him to medical school at the prestigious Chicago Medical School.
