History

Established in 1996.

Ive been practicing acupuncture since 1996. I worked in the county jails, private practice and in various mental health and drug recovery centers offering acupuncture since this time. I took off 2 years to raise my son, in his early years, and have returned to private practice, specializing in acute and chronic pain relief in Berkeley, CA.

I currently specialize in the relief of acute and chronic pain. In the 17 years I’ve been in practice I’ve been trained in many methods in a quest to offer effective treatments as painlessly as possible. In addition to Traditional Chinese Medicine, which includes Acupuncture, Chinese herbs, Pulse and Tongue Diagnosis, I, also, offer painless Microcurrent treatment for Needle Free Cosmetic Facials and to aid in the treatment of Musculoskeletal complaints. I’m a certified Dietary Counselor, which enables me to advise on the impact of diet and supplements and I am also a certified SEP (Somatic Experiencing Practitioner), and offer treatment for PTSD, post traumatic stress disorder. I pursued advanced training and certification in addiction treatment from NADA, and was certified by Quan Yin for the treatment of Hepatitis C. In order to keep my services accessible and affordable, I accept a variety of insurance plans.
